This was the most unprofessional, incompetent office! Zina did not take the time to put in the figures correctly so grateful we hired an outside attorney. Right away our new attorney discovered her errors. Meanwhile, a red flag Zina seems to think children under 5 don't understand the importance of parents involvement in their lives because they are too young to understand she either doesn't have children or doesn't engage with them to know that's false. She lacks sensitivity, (kept telling my daughter she needed to get a job, not her place) without realizing my daughter & our family put her husband through college & supported him after as well) the lack of professionalism and outright incompetence is an understatement. This office is not a firm I would ever recommend. Correct I wasn't the client my daughter was as I mentioned in the review. My now ex-husband and I worked with Zina a couple of years ago to finalize our divorce. At some point, he was stalling (or maybe just procrastinating, who knows), and instead of contacting him about it, Zina kept on asking me to talk to him, insisting she'd charge us more if we did not get everything ready on time. He and I not having to have these conversations was the whole reason we hired her. At some point I voiced my discomfort of having to be the go-between. Her extremely professional reply: "I don't care who figures it out between the two of you. As you are aware, I sent the email to both of you yesterday regarding this issue. I don't know why you feel like the go between but rest assured, you aren't." Way to make clients feel comfortable in an already stressful situation. The first set of documents she prepared were rejected by the court because of an error, which drew the whole process out even longer. BUT: we did get divorced eventually, her price was reasonable ($3000), and my ex and I bonded over our mutual dislike of her, so in a way she brought us closer together after all! read more

Zina took our money and promised to be neutral. When she was unsuccessful at mediation ,she wanted MORE money. After a lot of drama she took my wife's side and had her get an attorney behind my back. At the time, Zina was not a licensed attorney and lied to me about passing the BAR exam. The actions were so unethical that the attorney was forced to recuse herself from the case. Zina not only was useless but she fueled the fire for our 3 plus year divorce. Zina deserves a negative 5 review, not even a 1 star. A complete waste of money and time. Run!! read more

Zina was great, very available for questions and concerns pretty much anytime day or night. When I tell people how much we paid to get our divorce done, they are shocked because a lot of them paid 8 or 10 times the flat rate that Zina charges. I am really impressed with the overall service that this firm provides. Their approach really tries hard to keep things civil during a divorce.
