Super awesome land lord, gets everything done for us pretty much immediately. Great interior and super spacious for price and location. Neighbors are really friendly and great private environment over all. Would highly recommend. We have been living here for over a year and do not have any complaints. Kitchen is a really nice set up as well. 100% would recommend looking into. read more

Established in 2017.

The building may have been built in 1999 and repurposed as apartments in 2006 but it really began in 2017. This was the turning point and truly the new beginning. It was re-established as a premiere apartment building offering beautifully appointed living in a quite building.

When we asked about putting in the application she told us we were not allowed until we view the property we even asked about putting down the deposit to secure the house before seeing it along with the applications and said we cannot do that either until we see the house. Friday she told us that we can see the house 10:00 a.m. on June 30th. This morning she now informs us that she has three other applications and is not going to show us the house. Then this Erica chick whoever is representing y'all decided to get Mouthy with my wife on the phone. I'll be sure to relay the kind of business practices that are going on at kesling to the rest of the people I know here on the island. Y'all have a good day and we're going to use Caldwell banker or The rental Management company on the island might have to pay a little more but at least we won't get shitty service

However, after only a short time, I discovered Kessling was even worse. I had simply asked to have a quick property inspection to assess the condition of the house specifically the fence my renters were asking to have replaced. It took them months to complete this and then he didn't inspect the condition of the air filter, which is something I specifically asked him to do. On top of that, he "referred" me to a contractor do repairs but refused to follow up with the guy when my renters complained and sent pictures of the job not being completed. That was apparently "my problem". And, if that's the case, why even have a property manager if they do nothing more than collect rent? I can do that myself without being there in person. On top of that, they refuse to embrace technology which alone isn't a dealbreaker but makes them very hard to work with. My renters were not happy to be having to drop off a physical check at their office all the time nor was I satisfied with handwritten (barely legible) statements with next to no details on them.

Everything was spotless when we arrived and the place smelled divine and clean. Luxury linen on the most comfortable beds. A well stocked kitchen meant we only had to bring our food. Nice view of the canal with our own boat dock. Great swimming pool for the kids to enjoy. Our unit was per friendly so we could bring Fido with. Just a hop and a skip away from Rockport Beach and some quaint restaurants and gift shops. We will definitely be back. Price was good too.

At move-out, I was initially told I owed over $700 for various charges, including alleged carpet staining that I did not cause. I requested to see the condition of the carpet at the time, but I was not allowed access to verify it myself. I later worked with a property manager at the time who reviewed the situation and cleared the remaining balance, bringing my account to $0 owed. However, the issue was never properly resolved long-term. A later employee I dealt with did not take the matter seriously and dismissed my concerns, stating she deals with many people every day, which came across as though my issue was not a priority. Despite my account showing a $0 balance, I continue to receive calls from debt collectors on a regular basis. I have also submitted disputes twice, but the charges continue to be validated by the property. This has now negatively impacted my credit for years, despite the fact that I no longer owe any balance. It has been extremely frustrating trying to resolve something that should have been fully closed years ago.

They will try to RIP you off on the pet fee and the deposit. My wife and I lived there a year and a half, the oet fee went from $25 all the way to $100 a month. Don't expect your deposit back if you decide to move out because you will not get it back. Instead of getting my deposit back, we got a letter in the mail saying that we owed them $300. My advice is to anyone needing an appartment, DO NOT stay at these appointments

The rooms have everything we need, and the beds have all been comfortable. We like that we have little kitchens to make small meals in. Let's be honest though we don't cook much when we have so many good restaurant choices. Melissa is a kind and wonderful host. Barney the loveable dog is always by her side welcoming us. We really wouldn't stay anywhere else given the things we need are all here. We've even had family stay here. It's clean, its affordable and it is two blocks from the beach.
