We first tried early in the day, but we couldn't figure out how to get in as the gates were locked. We later returned and asked a employee inside Nicks and he clarified that Nicks and the redfish pool bar are the same place and they didn't realize the gates were locked. We really enjoyed the drinks and the happy hour prices, however the hot tub was very cloudy and you couldn't see the bottom. I would return though the staff was very nice and attentive and overall I really enjoyed it. read more

My wife and I entered the bar through Nick's into the outside bar. There were a few people in line at the bar but only one table sat. We sat at a table and tried to determine if their was a server or we had to go to then bar. After 5 min I went to the bar. The bartender clearly was more about taking care of friends and regulars and never acknowledge my presence. After another 5 min I saw a server. I stopped her and asked if I needed to get drinks at the bar or if she would come to the table. She very rudely said there was a $5 cover charge to be in the area. I told her we just wanted to have a quick cocktail and not stay long. She basically treated me like I had ducked out of the cover charge and said she would not serve us. As it turns out the sign about the cover charge was at another entrance. Not being able to get a drink at 6:30 on a Thursday night we left. I am shocked that during these tough times a bar or restaurant would not fight for every dollar and accommodate guests when clearly not busy. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. Robert the bartender saw us multiple times and instead just kept talking and and doing other stuff rather than taking our order. Freely felt neglected. If you're Hispanic I don't recommend coming here they will treat you differently. read more

Watch the "happy hour" pricing. They give you a menu that clearly says import beer (Michelob Ultra) is $3.75. However when I got my bill they charged me $4.50. When I questioned them about it they said it was because 3.75 is for 12 ounce can (which they don't even offer). But they didn't bother to tell me that when they handed me a 16 oz beer. But if you order inside you can get a 12 oz bottle fir $2. But that's for inside price only. My gripe is don't give me a menu fir inside prices only. Make an outside menu fir drinks if that's the way it is. Easy fix IMO. Other than that I love the place. read more

Me and my colleagues were very excited to try this place out, but as soon as we walked in we were greeted with immense attitude by a "door woman" who was sitting facing the bar when we walked in. She raised her voice when we walked passed her as she was chit chatting at the bar. With no shirt saying she was employed how would we know she was working for this establishment which led to her yelling at us expecting us to know that there was a door person in the first place. Also the $5 cover charge??? If I'm giving you my business there is no need for a cover when I'd be spending $50+ on food and alcohol. A shame. Will never return. Maybe hire nicer door people or people that actually stand at the door rather than chit chatting at the bar confusing people that walk in. read more

I've been coming here for 6 years and never had any problems. I know during the tourist season they do charge for under age. But on a Monday charging for everyone even for people that are coming to swim and drink. I understand the charge wasn't expensive but it's the principle. You want us to pay to pay basically. You turned locals off from coming somewhere they have always come to dip in the pool eat and drink. Thanks for nothing. read more
