Clean restaurant, nice atmosphere. Service was just OK. When I walked in I stated hello to the…read moreserver, waiting for a response from her and after a few awkward seconds of looking at me she finally stated, how many? Really, that was my welcome? The restaurant had a few customers for the early Saturday morning. I was sat at a table that was very wobbly. The server had to notice because she moved the table around before seating me. Really, all these empty tables and you sit me at the wobbly one. I ordered a hot tea and ice water. The water for the tea tasted like it came from the coffee pot. Restaurants need to learn not to use the same pot for hot water that is used for coffee. I get bad indigestion if I drink any amount of coffee. So much so I now state I am allergic to coffee. So restaurants, please stop mixing the pots without doing a deep cleaning. I also ordered "The Southerner". It has 2 sausage patties, 2 eggs over medium served on a split biscuit, covered with sausage gravy and a side of grits. I requested the gravy to be on the side. The eggs were cooked great, sausage patties also great. The biscuit they were on had an odd taste. Didn't taste like the biscuits were baked, maybe fried? That would probably explain the biscuit being tough. The sausage gravy was not good. The gravy was thin/runny with cut up pieces of the sausage patties, but it lacked the sausage flavor. The grits were also very soupy. I had pushed my full cup of hot tea to the edge of the table, the server either didn't notice or just didn't care. I was only asked once if I was needing anything else, and since she didn't ask about my full cup of tea, I wasn't going to say anything. When she came over to the table she asked if I needed anything, I stated No, I am done. She asked if I wanted my check, and I paid my tab. They do advertise Bloody Mary's and other breakfast cocktails but I didn't have any of those. The location is good, area outside for the kids to run and play. Seating outside also to watch the kids. I think I would only return to this place if I am invited out to brunch with my group of friends. Otherwise, would be a long while before I return, being hopeful things have improved.

They have an incredible selection of Bloody Mary's and they can even be customized with tons of toppings. I stuck with water this go around but ordered the Grown Up Grilled Cheese with fries. The toast was perfectly toasted and the ingredients on the grilled cheese made for a perfect brunch sandwich. Fries were super crispy and yummy too. This is a great spot for anyone who enjoys a good local spot with fresh menu options for sweet or savory preferences. Great atmosphere and nicely decorated. Highly recommend. Only reason for 4 stars is the wait staff was a bit all over the place but I'm sure it was just them trying to remain on top of providing a quick brunch service.

Went here with a group of family friends and had a decent experience here. With Texas being, well…read moreTexas, the outdoors environment in a rainy part of the day attracted a lot of mosquitoes to the area and was a little bit irritating for me while I was eating. Besides that (mainly out of control for the restaurant), though, I did find certain aspects of the restaurants to be not as great as I'd want it to be. As a lover of crawfish, I was really excited to get to try here, but I found their crawfish seasoning be a bit too salt heavy without exploring any of the other sides to crawfish. The Pook's sauce, which I had hoped to remedy this, was also a disappointment to me since it didn't seem to complement what was going on. The shrimp and crab, on the other hand, despite me not always enjoying the two at restaurants, were probably my two favorite parts of this experience. Complemented by the melted butter, I felt as though these two were miles better in quality and taste compared to the crawfish. Service was decent. They had run out of crackers for the crab so we had to wait ~20 minutes before we could dig in. Atmosphere was nice and more suited for large groups and conversations than a smaller 2-3 person group, though they did accommodate tables for these smaller groups. Overall, a little bit disappointing for me, but I wouldn't be against eating here again if I'm looking for a place to share a seafood boil with. There's just so many of these restaurants in the area that do a similar thing that small inconveniences might place this one lower on my to-go list.

Been here before but I've been craving it recently for a particular reason I'll mention later on…read more First, I gotta give praise to the decor and layout. Very vibrant and unique, with a neat outdoor area and amazing TV placement for those who care about that. Even their to-go counter is well decorated and themed! I can't comment on the atmosphere since both times I've been it's been relatively quiet, but I'd imagine on a busy night this place could have a fun atmosphere. Joshua was our server and he did a good job, and our food came out relatively fast, so no issues with service. As for the food however, I can't be as positive. Last time I had the Mahi Mahi and thought it was fine enough. This time I decided to try one of their burgers. I'll be honest, I like my burgers pretty plain, which is its own can of worms. Point being, the bun tasted very odd and almost stale, and the patty was very mushy and lacked flavor. The signature sauce was also unappetizing, with it being some sort of distant cousin of mustard or potentially a very odd Thousand Islands? I'm not sure if additional toppings would save this considering the unappealing foundation. It just left me very unfulfilled. The milkshakes on the other hand? Fantastic. Definitely the highlight. It was just as good as the last time I went. I haven't been to many other places that matches the quality of here. Could not recommend more. I've yet to try the chicken or other fish so I can't comment on their quality. All I'm gonna say is, burger lovers maybe approach with a grain of salt. 3/5

My delivery driver informed me…read morethat the staff were handling raw and cooked chicken with the same gloves, which is a serious food safety violation. Even worse, an employee reportedly put an oil sprayer in their mouth and then used it on customers' food. That is beyond unacceptable--it's disgusting. Tucking the drinks under their chin/mouth to give them to her. This shows a complete lack of basic hygiene, training, and management oversight. I will not be ordering from here again, and I strongly urge others to think twice. This is a serious health risk and needs to be addressed immediately. I do want to thank our DoorDash driver for being honest and looking out for us her transparency is the only reason we knew what was happening.

Friendly service just seemed odd during the dinner hour. I was the only customer for a while. This place seemed to maybe be in a transitional phase. Maybe new owners? Just did not feel like they were ready for business. The place was clean it just looked a little unfinished. I ordered the Loaded Mac and Cheese. It was okay. I've definitely had better. The chicken was great! Hot and fresh. The Mac and Cheese was okay. Definitely could do with an upgraded recipe. And I think the cheese was from a nacho cheese bag. Like the ones used for nachos at the ball park. The jalapeños were a nice thought but just didn't mix well with the whole meal. Honestly was hoping this was going to be better than it was. Just didn't mix well not live up to my expectations. Like I said maybe they are in a transitional phase. Not really in a hurry to go back.
