Most recently, I had some questions about dry rot repairs that a carpenter had completed during the exterior job. Allow me to say that hearing this convinced me of the quality and effort Dennis Bonilla and his Left Coast painters would be putting into restoring and painting our Santa Rosa home. This, indeed, was borne out by the excellent job done on our home. Consider: Prep work: Replacing failing siding and dry rot were not something we had really thought about when looking for a company to paint our house. We solicited five bids for the job and found that some companies do not offer repair; we would have to find someone else to do this job before painting could begin. Choosing colors: Dennis was very accommodating and pleasant as we struggled with this. We felt no pressure to make up our minds. Three times he applied multiple sample paints to the house before we came to a decision. Speed: Dennis scheduled our job for a month in advance, which was quick considering what time frames others gave us. Once the job began, there was no dilly-dallying, excuses or no-shows; they were very punctual. It was also going to be performed after Thanksgiving, and we were lucky with the weather--or was it that he had SIX workers on our job? Suffice it to say, the day after it was finished, it poured rain! Their presence: The workers were very tidy, cleaning up and stacking their supplies at the end of each day. They were careful with the plants surrounding the house. And no arguing or music blaring! I liked these men; they were pleasant and open to discussing how the job was going. By the end of the week, I was kind of sorry to see them go! Cost: The bill ultimately came to only $800 over the estimate, which surprised us. Because of one particularly bad spot of dry rot (there's that "poor workmanship" referred to), they had had to brace the ceiling inside the kitchen as a precaution. We had expected some major boost in price, but no. In summary, I would highly recommend Left Coast Painting. They were skilled, tidy, prompt and pleasant. Use them if you are looking for professionals to paint your house; you won't regret it!

Eminence came to my place within a week of calling to give me a quote and upon acceptance they started work in two weeks. Here are the highlights of my job which impressed me: I have a tall metal tractor barn that was scorched during the big fire last year. They repainted the barn so that it looks new. I had an outside area where I removed some cabinets and needed the old paint behind the cabinets matched with the paint job I had done 5 years ago. Daniel and his crew painted the whole wall to match perfectly. Inside, I removed my TV from the wall mount and attempted to patch the holes to match the "orange peel" texture. My work was "not good". I was astonished that Daniel fixed what I did so that it was impossible to detect any anomalies in the wall at all! His wall work is excellent. I had done a lot of the prep work before the Eminence team arrived: took off switch plates, removed furniture from rooms, took down paintings, light fixtures and the like. Eminence deducted the costs of them having to do that work from my bill. Communication was what one would expect. I was told when the painters would arrive, when they would be done and all my questions were answered promptly. I've had crappy painters in the past who overcharge, don't prep well and are sloppy. Eminence is now my "go-to" for painting buildings.

They…read morepainted the outside of our house and our ADU two weeks ago, and were so impressed with Erick and his assistant Jessica, and especially Raul, head of the painting crew, that we had them paint the inside of our house. We had lots of framed art and photos on the walls which I really didn't want to put up again. Erick and Jessica said, no problem. Raul took a video and used that to put the stuff back on the wall. Throughout both jobs both Erick and Jessica came by frequently to check on things and make sure we were happy. Jessica was especially helpful with choosing the paint colors. They have a special relationship with Sherwin Williams, and once we narrowed down our choices, the SW rep Santiago came by to consult, then used AI to show the outside of our home with those colors. Santiago got us paint samples to apply, and Jessica ca,e by to put it up. A terrific company. After they left, we found a window that wouldn't open. We called Erick, and Raul came by the same day to fix it. Considerate, professional, and a pleasure to do business with. I heartily recommend them!
