    Chronic hives
    Keileen M.

The male nurse that checks you in was very rood. I was in having severe swelling in my face and throat. I waited outside in front by the sliding door bc I didn't want to get sick and I let the check in lady know I was. That male nurse when I went back up to him for an update " in a rude/mad voice he says I called your name a few times! Where were you!" Literally right outside the door. Could literally see me through the glass sitting on the ground by the DOOR dying to breathe. Just to get sent home. Then finally diagnosed with hashimoto's disease. My immune system is in overdrive. Symptoms-chronic hives that don't go away head to toe ,swelling head to toe, weakness, fatigue, hairloss, anxiety, food sensitivity, stomach pain, mood swings and more. THANK YOU FOR NO HELP, could have did my bloodwork and found that out at the hospital in dying need. Redlands hospital DO BETTER!!!!!!!

    Feeling much better!

I went to Redlands E.R. on 8/1/25. They got me checked in quickly and brought me back to be treated. My fantastic doctor was Dr. Wang and my amazing nurse was Noel Fonseca (male). I thought I was having kidney pain. Dr. Wang treated my pain appropriately throughout my visit. In the end, I found out that I was suffering from nerve compression and spinal stenosis from arthritis and degenerative disc disease in my cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. I now need surgery to correct it. Everyone was really amazing and I am thankful for all their help. Thank you, RCH!! Cristina

.... We came in thru the ER department...although we have Kaiser .....this is the closest hospital to our home.... And he needed help right away....within minutes of our arrival they took me back to be with him...the doctor gave me all our options .... They've taken great care of him so far....He is on hospice care now... the staff has gone out of their way to not only make him comfortable but our family too.... He passed after 12 days on hospice... Every Nurse on the fifth floor was compassionate.... And went out of their way to help us through this difficult/ terrible time... Thank you Redlands Community & all the Hospice care folks...

Yesterday, I went to the unit to visit (as I was previously invited to do) and to see if I could get a medical-grade suction bulb. My baby has severe GERD and a high risk of aspiration--she chokes until her eyes are red and milk shoots from her nose. Having the right equipment for her safety is not something to play with. The treatment I received from Nurses HELEN and JESSICA was unprofessional and retaliatory. I have previously reported these nurses for their conduct during my baby's stay. When I arrived, Helen brushed me off and intentionally sent Jessica to the door to confront me. Jessica looked me in the face and said, 'I know who you are.' She then stood there acting as if the supplies were her personal property, condescendingly stating she would give me one 'this time only' and 'reminded' me that they don't provide these once a baby has left. It is deeply disappointing that staff would use a medical necessity to power-trip and settle a personal grudge. To treat a mother this way when she is simply trying to ensure her high-risk baby can breathe safely is unacceptable. ARMC management needs to address the behavior of Helen and Jessica immediately. I will not be returning to this unit to visit again. Their lucky My baby has to come to the clinic or i wouldn't step foot in this Hospital. Unless it was to see my OB. Sorry Dr. R & Dr. B but your staff that represent that unit need to be better VETTED

My fiance and I came here for a private tour of the Patton State Hospital Museum about a month ago…read more We were a little disappointed due to the fact that we didn't get to tour the actual asylum but in retrospect and after some explanation it made some sense. HA! But the tour was FREE and they were only accepting donations as payment. The only inconvenience, really, was the drive. That was about an hour and a half. With our adventure, it was well worth it. The tour was surprisingly fun and entertaining. We went inside to a small air conditioned house-like place with four or five rooms. It was full of artifacts and we had our own private 'tour guide' to provide us with a history of the land and a detailed explanation of all of the artifacts in each room. After about four rooms with very detailed information about the fascinating history of the asylum, we were able to walk about on our own. My fiance and I explored about asking questions and taking lots of photographs. We them walked out from the museum and went back to our vehicle. We were advised by one of the tour guides of a cemetery on the grounds but we could only access it outside of the asylum. So we got in our vehicle and wandered about. We somehow wound up touring the entire perimeter. Pretty sure that was not included in the 'tour" but we had a blast and we got to observe the entire lot! We likely will not be back due to the fact that the museum was small and we saw what we needed to see in one run. The museum was not very large but it was definitely worth the trip. I would highly recommend it!

Dr. Josh was phenomenal -- calm under pressure, extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He took the time to thoroughly assess the injuries, explain every step of treatment in a way we could understand, and made sure our loved one was comfortable and safe throughout the entire process. His bedside manner is exactly what you hope for in an emergency situation: confident, reassuring, and compassionate. We were also incredibly impressed with PA Theresa, who was equally amazing. She was informative, attentive, and took the time to answer all of our questions without rushing us. Her explanations were clear, her demeanor was warm, and it was obvious she truly cares about her patients and their families. The entire staff worked together like a well-oiled machine -- professional, efficient, and kind. Feedback Regarding MRI Scheduling Processes for Pacemaker Patients at RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL…read morein RIVERSIDE California I am writing to share my deep concerns regarding the scheduling process for MRI procedures, particularly for patients with pacemakers. First, I want to express my sincere appreciation for your nursing staff; they are consistently professional, compassionate, and provide excellent care. It is because of their dedication that I find the current administrative process for MRI access so incredibly disheartening. I am writing this out of profound frustration, as this is the second time my mother has been subjected to this ordeal. If a patient has a pacemaker, they effectively face a multi-day delay for an MRI due to a rigid, inefficient protocol that requires an external representative from the device company to be physically present to adjust the settings. The current process is simply broken. Relying solely on the availability of a third-party representative--rather than empowering your own qualified nursing staff to manage these adjustments--creates an unacceptable barrier to care. When that representative is unavailable, patients are left waiting for days, which is both physically taxing and emotionally exhausting for them and their families. It is difficult to understand why your team is not trained to perform these standard device interrogations and adjustments, or why there is not a more robust contingency plan in place. This is not just a minor inconvenience; it is a systemic failure that directly impacts patient outcomes and quality of life. I know my mother is not the only patient who has been stuck in this cycle. I strongly urge your leadership team to treat this as a high-priority issue and escalate it for immediate review. Your current process is unsustainable, and it is failing the very people you are here to serve. I truly hope you will commit to modernizing this procedure to ensure that no other patient has to endure such an unnecessary, lengthy wait for critical care. Could you please confirm if this feedback has been forwarded to the hospital administration, and if there is a formal channel where I can track the progress of potential process improvements?
