Spoke to officer Williamson cause my older brother who lives in REDLANDS was charged with child porn and many other horrific crimes and is out of jail. I let people know he is out of jail and he ends up putting a restraining order on me. To allow thhe abuse to continue cause I'm the only one in my family who would say anything ever. If I ever mentioned to anybody a different narrative then my mother told everybody she would've disowned me. Officer Williamson help me by answering some questions about restraining orders. Because if I'm legitimately concerned about a minor and now my voice is been suppressed because I can't say anything anymore because of a restraining order this little girl is in grave danger I believe. I believe that because her legal guardian allowed me and just stood by while I was being molested and sexually assaulted at four years old for a whole year. I'm 36 years old now but because of this restraining order that's why I called to speak with Officer Williams in to see how to protect my niece because now I can't say anything about them. He had me call the wake forest police department and child protective services and told me that that's totally OK that I'm not violating any restraining order because I have to contact them and try to call them etc. etc. it's because of officers like officer Williamson that the public remains more safe about people like me can believe the justice system still works. My older brother was let out of jail due to incredible lawyering techniques not a public defender my mother paid for everything and had some unbelievable lawyer get my brother off when he had just been returned to jail for violating his parole for having a bedroom set at my moms house and living there while he wasn't supposed to be there. The things I witnessed while they were supposed to be supervised visits in all of this or just horrifying and the fact that a restraining order now silences me and I can't say anything is terrifying and Officer Williamson helped me out big time. I was having a crisis in my home with a relative that lived with needed to leave. He was harassing me, mentally tormenting me. The officer told me that I had no recourse except for a restraining order and to start the eviction process. I did ask if he would come by and talk to this person, just ask him to leave me alone. the officer didn't want to because he may be attacked by the person if they got angry with police being there, that they may be putting themselves at risk. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. So it was alright for ME to possibly walk into that situation but not them? Really Redlands? Thanks for nothing read more

What inept morons actually work at this department? My son was rearended at a stop light by some idiot on her cellphone. She hit him at around 35 mph they estimated. Waiting 17 days now for the report, still nothing. My son's attorney finally got ahold of the so called officer that took the report and he said it wouldn't be ready for a few more weeks ( funny because I spoke with the girl in records on 08/05 and she said it would be ready in 2 days, it was on tge supervisors desk to be signed off) then this brilliant officer stated that he failed to get the lady's insurance info. Weird because he got my son's insurance info and the lady's that he was pushed into. Im guessing that the lady that hit my son has something to do with the city or knows someone on the department. Redlands Police Department is a complete joke. My wife called about suspicious activity in our gated community and gave an accurate description of the unknown vehicle. The dispatcher said they would send out a unit. Approximately 15 to 20 minutes later, a police officer arrived but did not check on the person inside the vehicle. The policeman only drove and passed by the suspicious vehicle. What a shame and a joke about "serve and protect." read more

Thank you to the Redlands PD and Redlands FD for another outstanding year of the RESA program. I am so glad that one man's idea came to fruition and is still growing and thriving to this day. As we celebrated the 25th Class of this program, with not only the largest amount of cadets but also the largest number of female cadets, this program is getting stronger every year. I am blessed that both my  son and daughter were accepted into this academy 3 years apart. It tested them mentally and physically and gave them a hands on experience as to what a career in fire or police is all about. In the 3 years between their academies I was amazed at how much this program is flourishing. I was also wondering if you get called to a site where a women claims the father choked the child but there is not evidence. Are you still obligated to investigate the father? Or do you have the authority to dismiss the mothers claims? Cause Redlands police came to my door after the mother of my child showed them no clear evidence of abuse. I am writing this review on behalf of my mother. My mother was recently in a car accident (just a fender bender, nothing major...some young kid rear ended her at a stop light...those darn teenage texters..lol). She was absolutely amazed how rapidly the local Redlands police was to respond to the call and how attentive and genuine they were. In a matter of minutes, three squad cars, an ambulance and the local fire department vehicle were on the site. It is reassuring to live in a city where you know that the local PD is attentive, caring, and rapid to respond to any situation. Thanks again Redlands PD!! read more

Someone stole $1000 worth of tools from me the other day. I was beside myself, I couldn't work without them, I was screwed. I called to file a theft report with the Redlands Police Department. I was connected to an Officer James who was very professional and thorough in taking the report. Six hours later I had my tools back in hand. I cannot thank Officer James enough, what he did for me can't be put into words. He saved my butt! Officer James, if you read this, thank you sir, you are one of the good guys. I am a clean cut person with no arrests, felonies, drugs, etc. etc. This is a true story. Redlands PD, like most police deparments, have forgotten that they are HIGHLY paid with fat pensions who WORK for the public. Us taxpayers. I knew some good cops with RPD years ago, but it seems to have gone downhill. As a Republican, I am NOT for expanding funding, rather to increase the quality of policing and improving public relations. (I am old school. In my youth police actually had beats and they would knock on your door, ride bikes, introduce themselves, and seem like real protectors and public servants.) Not it is about US and THEM. That's what is creating so much discord. Fat paychecks, freedom from accountability, and save your own life first. Public second. Here's our story. i can look up the date later if anyone asks. After a major shooting back east people were on edge. My friend Mikel and I went to the Jack in the Box by Redlands High School to eat in the early eve. There were 3 gang-banger type punk kids (one Hispanic, two blacks), about 17, in the Jack In the Box pretending like they were shooting people (making the motions). My friend told them, "Hey, stop doing that." Immediately they started to harass us with profanities in front of everyone. We could have beat them to kingdom come, but they were minors and the racism nonsense crossed our minds. Plus, one of them said they were from Berdoo and that their gang would get even with us. We called police 3 times. Another customer called too. The management of JBox called 2 times. The 3 thugs waited out side both doors for us to leave, saying we were going to get shined. I think 1 had a gun. All the customers were trapped in the store for about 20minutes. Cops never showed up. One drive by and never stopped. Finally, the manager went outside, risked her life and if it wasn't for about 6 witnesses she would be dead probably. Cops nowhere to be seen. Nowhere. We explained this perfectly to the dispatcher. Finally, I called a friend who is pretty ominous to come and help us. Remember, we are CLEAN CUT people. The thugs left quickly. Remember, this was the day after, I believe, one of those major shootings. It astounds me that the police ignored our request completely.. No cops or dispatcher ever called us back to see how we were. There easily could have been a couple of people dead. What a joke of a police department. If you have a crime being committed against you, good luck. Conceal and carry (legal) is the only way to defend yourself. No excuses about "we were busy", or,"officers were on an urgent call"... etc. This WAS a serious call. I believe either that Jack in the Box is blacklisted (along with anyone who happens to be there during a possible crime). Or, I am blacklisted because I filed a complaint against a crooked officer in another local City. In any case, I see their point of view too. If they shoot a minor, "racism", "police brutality", etc. But to not even show up nor call us after several calls from several people? What the hell are we paying these people these big buck salaries and retirements for when a marine in combat $3000-$4000 per month for combat duty (like a friend whose Hummer hit an IED and killed all but him). When was the last time a beat officer introduced himself and handed you a biz card. And what about those neighborhood watch groups we used to have where officers visited us. It's al about money, fat salaries, politician bullshit, and the like. Officers aren't even from the City. And what is this nonsense about the station main window/office being closed regularly and nastily telling us "EVERTHING is done online, SIR!" Online? That's BS for "we don't care". We seriously need a citizen-based advisory/watch panel. The culture of the citizens being the nuisances and them being the kings is also egregiously obvious in the City Billing Deparment and ALL departments for that matter. WE pay the damned bills, Public SERVANTS! This is just one of several disturbing incidents I have seen or been involved with. And I am not the paranoid old man calling cops every time there is a coyote on the lawn. Sad, real sad. read more

Did a excellent job on arresting me. They did not just arrest me for warrants but communicated and understood where I was coming from. With their tactics I guarantee there would be less police brutality etc then what's going on in the world today. Sometimes people don't care you have a gun on your hip, how shiny your badge is or new of a car there rolling around in. People aren't just criminals some people need f****** help. Not a fan. I have the worst neighbors I could have ever imagined. The kind that party 5 and 6 nights a week until 4 and 5 in the morning. So, after multiple complaints to the office failed, I did the only thing I could and that was to call the police. I didn't dial 911; I know it's not that big of an emergency, but I expected better than a 4 hour response time. I have had to call the police due to the partying on week nights multiple times now and what I have learned is to call exactly at 10 P.M., because I know the police will not show up until at least 1 A.M. and honestly, I usually have to call again at around 1 to find out if there are going to show up. They usually do, eventually, but twice now they have not. The last time I called the police dispatch was fairly rude. I called at 10 P.M. to complain about the partying that started at 9 and she said "what, are they just having fun?" It really was as though I wasting her time. Like I said, the cops come if and when they feel like it and then just ask them to keep it down. I seriously call multiple times a week due to these awesome neighbors of mine and the police do not do anything about it. There should come a point where someone is arrested for disturbing the peace or disorderly conduct. Something, but no; nothing. EVER. Huge fan or RSO, and the Berdo SO, but Redlands PD has proven to be a bit of a joke. read more

This is for the police department on park avenue in Redlands. I called 6 times over the course of a month and left 2 messages and 1 in-person message with a lady at the front desk to get a simple vin verification scheduled. I was given a call by Officer Pendry on a Monday who said, absolutely we can schedule that for either Wednesday or Thursday this week, I will call back tomorrow to make the appointment. No call the next day. No problem, maybe he got tied up. Called him Wednesday to confirm we could still make an appointment for Thursday. No call back. Long story short, after continued attempts to contact him directly, I had to hire an outside vin verification company to come out and do it for $70. Instead of the free service provided by the traffic division. Thanks, Officer Pendry, I'm pleased to know you take that part of your duty to SERVE seriously. i did NOT talk about movies with them at all so nothing on tv. i did not talk to them about my fun habits or what i do in my free time. they do their job so everything is on topic to what is important and useful like it was not leisure conversations i had. it was rush and quick etc so i am just trying to better explain myself then what they have written in past mild just to make it make sense. so anyways they did NOT do their best with me. so i fear them is why i have NOT made a police report yet because i feel that they are criminal. also they had the option of releasing my police records but they refused me actions of that. so i am hurt about that decision they made they did not give me a reason why so anyways it is a rule or i do not even know if i believe that what they are saying is a true law. so anyways they did not go based on what i said they went based on what past police records were on me and so rumors and etc that is how they are dealing with me. they did NOT ask me if i was a danger to myself or others they just took me to the psychiatric hospitals so i forgot to mention that in my other reviews so i am adding that here. that is NOT legal of them to just go based on what a hotline phone number told them about me. i follows orders cause i was scared of police. i remembered past situations so i am taking about different years of dates here in this review so it is not one incident. i thought they knew what they were doing. due to my anxiety health problems i did NOT ask them why they did what they did. there was no good conversation. i think to speed time or just maybe that is how they are they did not address me with giving me reasons why they are there. i dont know why they made me wait i am guessing i already told you that. they knew about my membership program and that a particular postage mail box location i regularly i went to they are trying to harass me so even the omnitrans bus disability access drivers did odd sign language or body language cue for remembrance of that therefore i speculate that they did spying through post office asking them what is in my mail? legally or illegally using their badges or fake warrant documents. so anyways how i got on that bus was for VASOVAGAL SYNCOPE and not due to a mental disorder so i do not want you to think it is cause i am too mentally sick to drive. anyways it was NOT psychogenic. the bus drivers and police redlands are connected with bullying harassment of towards me. it could be volunteers instead. i do not know if that is legal in that they are not addressing if i deserve to go to the hospital or not. you could say maybe they are trying to help or protect me but i just gave you perfect examples of thier mean behavior. read more
