They close for lunch break 11:30-12:30. It was 12:40pm and the window still wasn't open. I was at the front of the line and had to leave.

Hard to believe that this Post Office has anything but a 5-star rating. I get in and out very quickly and the two postal clerks who are consistently at the front are friendly and helpful. I love that I can simply pop in and out. Plus, there is ample parking in the front and in the back. read more

Just left there. Window hours were open according to the sign. Door was open and no one in sight. I'm guessing a mail man was in there because I heard his scanner. Anyways I begin to leave and head to the Colton post office since I didn't see anyone available to give me service. As I walk out an older American lady is walking up asking me. How did you get in there !!! Over and over and I ask if she works there and she keeps yelling "goodbye you can leave" over and pointing to the walkway. I hope her manager sees this. This is hands down my favorite post office! The man and woman who are regularly at the front counter are absolutely incredible, consistently kind, efficient and always willing to help. I originally hopped on Yelp to check their morning hours for tomorrow but noticed a recent 1-star review so I felt compelled to share my own experience and balance that back out with a 5 Star. Let's be real, if you're not fully ready when it's your turn it's only courteous to step aside and finish preparing so the line can keep moving. These employees are doing a great job keeping things flowing smoothly and they don't deserve to have their time wasted. I've always found the staff here to be professional, helpful, and a breath of fresh air. Keep up the great work! read more

US post office located right on the corner of Brookside and Eureka in Redlands. Parking can be limited but they do have the drop box at the front sidewalk. Beautiful historical building. Steps and ramp at front entrance. It reminds me of the old libraries with the big oak doors. The drop off slot is straight ahead once you enter. First time here after moving to Redlands and not the experience I would have appreciated. Got greeted by clerk 09 and unfortunately was very rushed throughout the whole process as I was writing a note to mail out. He asked me to step away as I was just about done but felt like he just didn't want to help me anymore and to go on my way. So I just left feeling uneasy about the whole experience. Nobody likes feeling rush in any situation and instead of simply just waiting a few seconds the service would have been a lot better. read more

Customer service is awful there, I've been here twice and both times were bad experiences. First time I had to return a package and brought it in its original packaging and was denied shipment because it did not have the usps logo on it, FedEx and UPS both take anything it whatever packaging without question. This recent time I went there to print out my shipping label (which different usps locations have allowed me to do it there), so I brought it in and he told me I could not print it and told me to go to FedEx or another mailing location to print it out at. I went home to print it, brought it back and as if it's some sort of joke he says "I hope you brought tape because if not you're gonna have to pay for it." So unbelievably stingy, I can't imagine a POST OFFICE without tape for customers to use. So I had to buy that and the cherry on top is he went and just sat down in the back and made me package it myself (which I don't mind but all the other disrespect and this added on top is almost comically funny). I love this USPS building for the architectural look! Yesterday, I dropped by to mail out our taxes. No problem in finding parking on the side of the building. I decided to come before noon and I'm glad that I did because there was no line. We already picked up the priority mail envelopes to fill out at home so all I had to do was pay for the postage. The USPS clerk was friendly and fast with her service. Easy peasy! Hope all of you were able to mail out your taxes in time too! read more

I've always loved this post office location. The people who work the front desk have been consistently pleasant each time I've had to stop in. Wait times are a bit long, is it even worth mentioning? The building itself is historic and beautiful, there is also a museum inside with relics from years gone by. The outside landscaping has finally been attended to. Due to the drought, they stopped watering and for quite some time it was a bit of an eyesore. Now, a few drought tolerant plants have been placed and the grounds seem to have taken a more cared for appearance. This little post office is truly one of Redlands gems. read more

Best post office in the western hemisphere. The staff under the direction of Christian is so helpful, competent, knowledgeable, courteous, and fast. They always go that extra mile to help you and if you are awaiting delivery of a package they will go in the back and look for it to see if it came in or will even call the main post office to see if it's enroute yet. Apple Maps says they open at 12:30pm after an intermittent break. When I came in after 12:30pm the post office was still closed and when it did open, it wasn't promptly when the " time return " time was posted. read more

Something has changed for the worse here recently. I have been coming for 30 years and shipped all kinds of US priority packages. Arrived 11:30 am last week to see them locking the lobby and they said oh they had always closed the lobby for "Lunch" every midday. In 30 years of midday visits I had never seen this. Came back later to ship what I have shipped before, dozens of times, and was told that these priority mail shipments are no longer accepted, for reasons that sounded very vague. Went to the next closest PO and shipped exact same item no problem. Asked there if that item was no longer allowed on USPS and was told of course it's allowed. Yes the building is still lovely from the outside, but I will no longer be going inside for my USPS needs, sadly. read more

I walked out of this post office feeling absolutely furious. The front desk was unoccupied for ten minutes straight despite a long line of customers. When the clerk finally did return to the desk, he took his sweet time and just sort of casually strolled around when he was asked to bring a customer something from the back. This place always tries to insist on getting me to pay as much as possible, even though I explain that it's not necessary to rush my shipping. This time was no exception. They must have a training course for their workers called Swindling 101. I will NEVER EVER return to this branch. What a nightmare experience. Like I said at the beginning, absolutely infuriating!
