The fatoush salad, tabbouli, chicken shawarma, and lamb kabob were flavorful, prepared well, and simply delicious by any standard. The chef is really amazing. Also, the atmosphere was relaxing. We ate outside in a nice courtyard. The only negative was the smoker at the adjoining table. Our server, Daniel, was very pleasant, when we saw him. Unfortunately, it was a rare sighting. There were two waiters for around eight tables. The restaurant was so grossly understaffed people were headed for the doors. Literally. Some of our things we ordered actually arrived. Other entrees other tables ordered also were served to us, only some of which we realized in time to redirect. Other entrees never got made. At one point in the meal Daniel asked us which entrees have not yet been served. Oye. It got so bad that I had to bus some of my own dishes and had to grab a pitcher to refill water. Our table of nine got one small basket of pita until the end of the meal when two more baskets arrived. Daniel blamed it on the number of tables who came without a reservation. Given the reviews on Trip Adviser, I know my experience wasn't unique. In short, I loved the food, but I won't return until other reviewers report that the service improved.
