I had no idea Redtree was in this cute and busy strip of Madison Road and I'm so glad to know now! The shop is large with plenty of comfortable places to work in a beautiful environment surrounded by art, a mural, and light. The barista was so friendly and accommodating despite us coming 10 minutes before close. My husband and I both ordered off the February seasonal menu, the strawberry rose matcha and strawberry rose cold brew, and both were delicious! The matcha was so beautiful. She said they will have more spring seasonal favorites coming soon so I definitely want to be back soon to catch those! This part of Oakley is fun to walk around on a nice day, and I know next time I'm in the area I'll want to grab a drink from Redtree to bring along! read more

I went here a little bit ago to try them out for the first time. I really liked their space, it was big and had lots of seating. They had a lot of shelves full of items and trinkets to buy that were super cool and local. I ordered a regular matcha latte and it was ready within two minutes of ordering it. The service was super fast. The matcha was good, but a bit watery and in the chalkier side. I liked it, but I have had a lot better and I don't think I would get a matcha from them again, I would try out their other items though. read more

Came here for a little Sunday morning pick me up and was suprised at how much space they have! They are located right near Washington Park. They have local items for sale as well. My ice tea was freshly brewed and their ham and cheese croissant was made to order. The croissant was flaky and warm. I would definitely come back again! read more

I went to Redtree Art Gallery and Coffee Shop recently to get a little work done and was instantly reminded why I love it there. The shop is surprisingly spacious, so even when it's full, it's pretty quiet. The high ceilings definitely help. The bathrooms have the coolest snake wallpaper! During my last visit they were doing a special strawberry Valentine's Day matcha with a housemade syrup. It was truly one of the best matchas I have ever had. I wish it was on the regular menu! They also were handing out Valentine's cards with your drink purchase and I got a free drink coupon. SO sweet! The staff are always very kind and make the experience even sweeter. Nice little coffee shop in Oakley. It was bustling on a Saturday afternoon - the vibe was definitely one of "I'm a regular and I'm here to meet my friends or do some work". Little basic, well-used tables spread around and almost all with customers. We were getting coffee to go, and the billing as a gallery is what drew us. We ordered 2 mochas and a cranberry-orange scone. The mochas were okay (a little lukewarm, tbh) but the scone was outstanding! We viewed the art while we waited for our drinks, then went on our way. It's cute and if I had work or wanted to read for a bit and I were in the area, it might be a good place to linger. We did metered street parking but discovered there's a free lot in back. Cute local Cincy spot with a changing menu based on season. Stopped by and tried the pistachio matcha and blue velvet. I was told the blue velvet isn't caffeinated despite having matcha in it. Both were well made, but I liked the pistachio matcha better. Topped off with some rose petals it is pretty and delicious. What a cute place! They do have parking in the back which I discovered after parking in the street. There's a lot of room inside with different seating and a pleasant vibe. They have a lot of plants and some artwork and small items for sale. I ordered a London Fog. It was good and was prepared similar to another coffee shop where it was put into a mug and the tea bag did not stay in the drink to steep over time. I think London Fogs taste better when the tea bag stays in the drink (otherwise it's a little weak tasting). But I would totally go back and try another drink! read more

I recently visited Redtree on a Sunday to get some work done and I absolutely loved it!! I immediately grabbed a seat at the window and was able to plug my computer in and get a good view of the street. Although there's plenty of comfortable couches and tables, I preferred to keep my back to the commotion so I could focus!! Once in line I ordered a Carmel macchiato and an everything bagel! The waitress/cashier was very helpful in giving me menu suggestions and offering to make my drink latte style. It was my first time there and I was really appreciative that even with a line she took the time to help me and still was a BEAST with getting everyone their custom drink orders!! As far as the food and coffee it was wonderful of course! I loved that things were served on actual dishes and not just disposables! Inside there were people working, reading, and meeting with friends, but never was it too loud to focus! Just pop in your earbuds if necessary. But that goes to show this location is good for all your needs! And again, they have great coffee options!! I didn't spend time looking at all the items they had for sale, but maybe next time. After sitting on my list of must-try coffee shops for the longest time, I finally made it to Redtree Art Gallery and Coffee Shop. I camped out here on a Friday morning to meet with someone and get some work done. I loved how much seating there was, but quickly noticed that lots of single people had camped out at tables that sat 4+ people, that was a little frustrating, but not the fault of the business. I was trying to find a table to accommodate 3 while also being close to an outlet. That was a struggle (I arrived almost exactly at 8 a.m.) The space was clean, and the art beautiful. Even with so many people, it felt quiet and it was easy to get lots of work done. I ordered and iced coffee. I do wonder if there are multiple sizes, as I quickly chugged the coffee and realized that I normally would order a larger size. I didn't order off of the food menu this time, but I'll definitely check out that part next time. I'll definitely be back the next time I need to get some work done in the Oakley area! read more
