The licensed Plummer left the job half done and charged $100.00 an hour. Anyway, Jasper was super easy to communicate with via text with some photo ideas back and forth. He showed up to the job site with parts in hand, hooked up my dryer vent properly due to its unique design, placed the dryer as snug to the wall as possible and moved the washing machine over so that the entry door could finally close. Ben did a major renovation in my 100-year-old home that included our kitchen and an adjacent…read morestairwell, laundry room, and bathroom. The project was a total gut that included demolition of a dropped ceiling that had flooded with sewage. He rebuilt the exterior doorway, replaced all the original plumbing and electrical in the kitchen and basement, handled asbestos abatement, and refurbished the original windows, pantry built-ins, and as much trim that could be salvaged. The new kitchen has all-new subfloor and flooring, tile, light fixtures, custom-designed cabinets, wood trim in the historic style, and paint. The project also included lots of "honey-do" add-ons that included hand-fitted "dutchmen" in old doorways, several custom-made screen doors, and rehabilitating all the old window, door, and cabinet hardware. They also replaced multiple false beams under the eaves on our home's two-story exterior. The renovation was a huge undertaking, but Ben was always sensitive and accommodating. His crew and subcontractors are pleasant and professional, and I never felt uncomfortable being home alone with any of them. I have never collaborated with a more skilled and professional contractor. Ben is not intimidated by the idiosyncrasies and surprises inherent in tackling a historic property, and our renovation reflects the high level of his professionalism and craftsmanship. We could not be happier with the outcome.

We hired him to prep and repaint our house that is only a few years old, but the paint was already faded and we had many butt joints that had not been prepped properly. The builder had done a terrible job using cheap paint, and Travis was able to fix several areas where they had cut corners. Our house now looks beautiful, but more importantly, we're confident that all areas are painted, joints are all caulked properly, and that the project was also done right, using quality paint that will last for years. In addition to his skill and knowledge, Travis is also a nice person, as is his crew. They showed up on time, did what they said they were going to do, kept a tidy workspace and cleaned up after themselves. I would absolutely recommend them for any paint job. They do not cut corners, and you will not regret hiring them.

Nick changed the first 2 appointments we had with him, thus wasting our time since we had set aside time to meet with him. Finally, the third time he set an appointment with us, he was over an hour late, again most disrespectful even though we were trying to give him one last opportunity to bid our job. After spending over an hour with him, he promised to have a quote for us by the following Tuesday (this last meeting was on a Thursday). When we received nothing by the following Thursday, 2 days after we expected his quote, I left a message to please let us know status. He did not return our call. I left him 2 subsequent messages over 2 weeks, asking what is going on, but he did not bother to respond. In the last message, I asked him that if he no longer wants to bid the job, he could at least simply have the decency and professional courtesy to let us know. That was almost a week ago. AND STILL HE HAS NEVER CONTACTED US AFTER WASTING SO MUCH OF OUR TIME! This is a rather stark indication of the true character, or lack thereof, of this individual and what you can expect if you engage him. We strongly recommend you go somewhere else. Lord knows what may have occurred if we had given a deposit and hired someone such as this who demonstrates such an incredible lack of respect for others! We are in Grants Pass, NOT NEVADA. I would not recommend Joe for any repair or handyman work…read more I hired Joe to perform work at my business and the quality of the workmanship was extremely disappointing. Multiple issues had to be corrected after the fact, including work that should have been completed properly the first time. I repeatedly had to follow up with him to address problems that were left unfinished or done incorrectly. What was most frustrating was the lack of accountability. After acknowledging the issues and telling me multiple times that he would come back and fix them, he continually delayed the repairs with different excuses. I have text messages showing him promising to return and make things right. When I finally followed up again, he simply told me to hire someone else and claimed it wasn't the type of work he does. If this wasn't work he was qualified to perform, he should never have accepted the job in the first place. Instead, I was left with unfinished repairs, additional costs, and the inconvenience of finding someone else to fix the problems. Poor workmanship, poor communication, and no follow through. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
