John Abril rescued us! As an experienced realtor, mortgage broker, and previous underwriter, he…read moredissected an extremely complicated home buying situation EXACTLY planned to our needs. We were attempting to buy my mother's home based on her will and trust (as she specified my husband and I would have the initial buying option), which included mom's siblings as co-executors. Mom also included her granddaughter (a minor) as a beneficiary of the home in her trust. We are now legal guardians of her granddaughter (our niece). We had to figure out how to buy the home from the trust, make sure our niece would get her fair share of the home value, and qualify for the remainder of the loan. We've always rented and are very inexperienced! We tried working with a couple other mortgage brokers and nothing seemed to be operating smoothly. I almost quit! Our credit wasn't up to par or the underwriter had problems with our income, etc. John reached out to me after a Yelp request for suggestions, and laid out a clear plan for achieving our goals... Due to his adept suggestions, my credit shot up after only 2 months! He came up with a plan, and then a better plan, and then an even better plan for our credit, interest rates, and differing loan options. His communication was constant and reliable, I could call with any questions and hang up the phone with absolute satisfaction. I didn't feel lost like I had with the other companies we initially worked with. I highly recommend John Abril to help find a forever home, navigate complicated loan (and family) situations, and feel accomplished with what you've achieved. Buying a home is stressful/scary/way too much adulting and John breezed through all our issues like it was another Tuesday. John, you took an impossible undertaking and made us homeowners! Thanks a million, you are the best!

He was always easy to reach and quick to respond when I had questions. He was always patient with explaining anything I didn't understand and he really took care to make sure I understood everything. We were refinancing and were considering taking cash out vs just straight refinancing. John ran several numbers for us to help us make our decision. He also checked with a few different lenders to make sure who would offer us the best deal. He didn't stop there, he was also able to negotiate an additional credit from the lender which we were not expecting but were very thankful for! His timing with locking in our rate was impeccable. He showed me how he was monitoring the market and what news he felt might affect rates. I trusted him to know what he was doing and my faith was not misplaced. Rates went up the day after he locked ours in and went even higher in the following days and weeks. So if you want someone who knows the business, knows the market, is patient, kind, and provides exceptional service, John at Bird Eye Loans should be your new mortgage broker.

He helped my wife and me buy our first home in Los Angeles, and we couldn't have done it without him. From the beginning of our home-buying journey, Koorosh was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. Our situation was slightly more unique and complex than others, but it posed absolutely no challenge to Koorosh. Furthermore, the home we ultimately closed on was a competitive "hot" home where we offered an extremely competitive three-week escrow period. Koorosh took the time to talk to the selling agent to assure him it could be done, and it was! A three-week escrow is no joke, and Koorosh executed it masterfully. We will be using Koorosh for any and all future property purchases and cannot recommend him enough.
