Years ago, I was in a horrible car accident and I needed to find a chiropractic company that was better then the previous two I had tried. When I called, I talked to this wonderful receptionist (Nichole). She was extremely informative and very friendly. She talked me through the whole procedure and I was able to see the doctor right away. My back was in really bad shape. Dr. Reed talked me through each steps I would need to recover. He and Dr. Hood were exceptional at describing the steps they were taking to make me feel at ease. Everything from X-ray to nerve sensors, they showed diagrams and physically on the body where adjustments needed to be made. I have been going to Reed Chiropractic for years to help with hip pain, sciatica, back pain, and stiff neck as I work a blue collar job and I go once a week and they have been absolutely amazing. The staff is top notch and very welcoming. I just got my boyfriend to go and it has helped him a lot also he feels so much better even though it is a drive for us both but I would not change to a different chiropractic place. I also been having problems with my jaw popping and Dr. Hood adjusted it for me and it has stopped popping and has been so much easier eating and talking I thought it was a weird question but he said he could adjust it and I was all for it lol. I'm not a huge fan of any kind of doctors. I'm also not a huge fan when people touch me. I had really bad lower back pain, to the point I couldn't sleep. The general physician said "stretch". I have had three sessions now and can already feel a huge difference. I came in with nerve pain in my hip and extreme tightness in my shoulders and upper back. I wasn't able to lay on my hip for more than two minutes before I was in a lot of pain. Last night I was able to lay on my hip for almost ten minutes with no pain. Very happy with my choice to come here. My husband comes here too with a work injury for a few years back that has caused his pelvis to tilt forward. For a couple of years I had this increasing sensation of stabbing pain in my back near my shoulder-blade that I likened to the feeling of being snapped in two like a chicken bone. This is by far the best place that I have ever been to in the Valley. I found it on yelp and I'm SO thankful that I did. My boyfriend first started coming here when he injured himself during a workout and has been coming for months! He absolutely loves Dr. Reed! Reed has truly helped his back and he's far better than from before. (He used to sleep on a tennis ball due to discomfort) He then referred my roommate who works an office job. The slouching and being hunched over quite often has taken a toll on him so he came in and loved Reed as well! (He had gone to a different chiro prior and made the switch). I caved and stopped in myself. I am a server and carry heavy items and trays so my lower and mid back are always aching. I'm still just 20 but ever since coming here I've felt a huge difference in my whole body! I'm definitely happy with where these sessions are going. I'm aware of my posture at all times and that has helped me breathe better and digest better. I've suffered several injuries as a result of a few car accidents. As a result, I had constant pain in my shoulders, neck and back that often turned into migraine headaches making it nearly impossible to function. I went to my regular PCP and all he did was prescribe me pills. The pills helped with the pain a little, but they caused other side effects that I didn't particularly like. So the doctor started prescribing me more pills for the side effects caused by the first set of pills. At that point, I decided I was tired of masking the pain and wanted a "real fix", not a drug induced "fix". That's when I started looking into chiropractic care. After going through some good and some not so good chiropractors, I finally met Dr. Reed at a Home Improvement Show in Phoenix. I was attracted to his booth with his fancy system for determining where the back problems are. After talking with him, I was happy to find out his office was really close to my office, so I set up an adjustment for the following week. When I went to the office, I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, honesty and skill that Dr. Reed and his staff exhibited. There was no high pressure sales pitch. The exam was thorough before an adjustment was made. And the cost without insurance was totally affordable! Even though I have since moved jobs and their office isn't as convenient, I still go out of my way to see Dr. Reed on a regular basis (every 2 weeks). Ever since I started a regular maintenance plan, I have not had a single migraine. Just started going here and had about 4-5 visits. So far so great. It's inviting right when you walk in with a nice fish tank and the ladies up front are friendly and sweet. Dr. Reed does a good job explaining things and never makes me feel rushed, even though there is a waiting room full of people. Before your appointment you can warm up/ stretch out your back on a bed with rollers. The TV monitors display items such as; ways to improve joint movement, brief chiropractic explanations, weather forecast, monthly smoothie recipes, and tips & tricks to reduce stress and increase positive emotions. Doctor Reed and his staff are truly very caring, compassionate people. I decided to see Dr. Reed when my scoliosis/lordosis was acting up. My entire spine, from my chin to my hips, literally felt twisted; I was very uncomfortable and experiencing some pain. I received a thorough examination & solid treatment recommendations. I have been seeing Dr Reed for over 5yrs and he has helped me through several stages of my life. I initially started seeing Dr. Reed because I was experiencing tingling in my hands and feet. After several visits the tingling in my hands and feet were gone. I continued monthly maintenance visits, to keep my body in check. A year later Dr. Reed helped me with lower back pain, due to pregnancy, I am not sure what I would have done without him. Three days after giving birth, I brought my daughter in to see Dr. Reed, she had torticollis "twisted neck". My husband and I were extremely concerned with our daughter's condition; Dr. Reed put us at ease explaining that it was a treatable condition. After a month of extremely subtle adjustment to our precious child, her neck was straightening out & looking normal. My daughter and I still see Dr. Reed monthly for our maintenance adjustments. Last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and under went a surgery to remove the tumor and several surgeries for reconstruction. I've had a tremendous amount of back pain and chest tightness due to these surgeries. Once again Dr. Reed's adjustments have assisted me in coping with the pain and regaining my sanity. I actually found Dr. Reed on Yelp last Fall. I was a bit wary about seeing a chiropractor but was really stiff and uncomfortable. I had always had "crunchy neck" from hunching over a computer most days & began to have hip/back problems as well, which was affecting my sleep. I've had a fantastic experience so far - Megan and Dr. Reed are both incredibly friendly and efficient. I've been to SO many chiropractors over the years so have definitely had my share of bad experiences (painful adjustments, pressure to come in several times a week, expensive adjustments, unnecessary x-rays, rude staff). After my first couple visits I told Sam that my experience had been more of a combination of all the best things I've experienced in chiropractic, namely: Friendly staff, comfortable adjustments, very reasonable prices, massage table pre-adjustment, great communication from the Dr. with specific goals that we are working towards, and very satisfactory results. They make it very clear that they are in the business because they care about people, not dollar signs. We are planning on returning to Phoenix and probably living in North Phoenix, but I'll be happy to make the drive to continue seeing Dr. Reed. read more

Highly recommend! The choice to switch over to Dr. Reed was by far one of the best health/wellness decisions I've ever made. After being in 2 car accidents, one at 16 and one last year at 26, I've had a lot of issues with pain in my neck and shoulders. After both accidents, I saw chiropractors that were cool people but not terribly effective. So when my friend recommended Dr. Reed, I expected it to be the same. Thankfully I was wrong! Dr. Reed and Dr. Legg use different X-ray techniques than the other chiropractors, which helped them find a stuck vertebrae that no one else had before! They created a treatment plan for me, and my neck pain has decreased immensely! Not only are they effective doctors, everyone in the office treats you like a person, not just "another patient."
