The Center for Total Back Care was recommended by a friend for the lower back and hip pain I was experiencing. I've received chiropractic care before but never have I received results like I did from this place. First off I will say Dr Jolly and Armando are professional and very friendly. I felt like they were there to help me get pain free and did a great job explaining what needed to be done to get me there. When I walked in I was expecting to get adjusted and walk out like everywhere else has done, so I was surprised when they put me on a machine to test my back strength. They showed me afterwards that my lower back strength was below where someone of my age should be and laid out a plan to strenghten it through stretching and exercise. They also performed dry needling of my hip area which to my surprise almost immediately took away my hip pain. I went in twice a week for a month and stretched and exercised my back and hip. At the end of the month my strength was tested again and I was right where I should be. In that small amount of time my hip flexibility improved and pain was completely gone both from my hip and back. I can't recommend them enough. This place saved me!!!!!!! I had extrema vertigo a few year back and after several months of therapy it changed my life! Friendly staff that's what made my hard days better. Armando and Mike where amazing + the front desk ladies. Only concern when I went back for back pain after an MRI they found a bulging disk and an rip and when I expressed my concern I was told "Why did you do that are going going to still see us" I was taken back because I was doing everything they wanted me to do and it was not getting better so the next step was to get the MRI???????????? I did NOT like how they did not use my MRI results to come up with a plan of action and it seemed it became all about the business / Money which SHOCKED me because prior they saved me and this time I was told something very different. I might just give one last try in a few months after I complete my pain management processes and the only reason ill go back is because they saved me before and the great staff. read more

My review is on Dr. Burrell Jollie, BEWARE is you don't have private insurance or aren't a cash pay. I am of the medicare ago and proud of that. I worked since I was sixteen years old, was a single Mom.paid my taxes. Only to be made to feel badly for that by this office. I have a Medicare advantage plan it was verified by Cher..do not go on her word. The Office Manager is the one to deal with not Cher. I called she verified it, when I drove all of the way there I asked again Cher again said it's fine. The Dr. Burrell Jollie calls me in his office again to say I don't think we take your insurance I was furious. Then comes back in says I guess we do tells me he just applied for Medicare. I say my other Dr. was older so then he says are you calling me older. Yes because you are. Then I say I meant he is experienced. Then he was just trying to be professional. He gives me a wimpy adjustment. Tells me to come back Monday. Then on my way driving calls to say they don't take my insurance really! Anyhow my insurance verified Yes they do since 2021. I placed a grievance. Some Drs. Don't want to accept Medicare because it's not about helping people in pain anymore it's about lining their pockets, their vacations, golf game. Etc. I've had low back problems for about 20 years starting in the mid 90's. As time went on it got progressively worse. ""Some"" chiropractors helped but as time went on it just seemed like it didn't help anymore. About 5 years ago I was contemplating surgery. (Which was especially bad for me. I'm self employed and my insurance had my back problems categorized as pre-existing. Any surgeries I had to pay for out of pocket!! Not pleasant.) Dr. Jolley was basically my last resort and over the years was probably about the 20th chiropractor I was going to see. My wife drove and I basically crawled into the office... BAD PAIN!! After seeing Dr. Jolley and doing therapy 3 times per week, for I think about 6 weeks, I was in really good shape. I think after about 3 months I was even playing golf again. Since then I've had several 'flare ups' but always seem to get them under control in a week or so. No where near as bad as they used to be. I now see Dr. Jolley once every three weeks for Medex treatment, adjustment and therapy. Live a normal life. Just have to be careful and watch what I do.... especially lifting things, I won't lift anything over about 30lbs. Can't recommend Dr. Jolley, Armondo and his team enough!! They are more than just chiropractic adjustments. The Medex equipment and decompression therapy is a must, at least it was/is in my case. read more

Wanted, and tried, to use TBC but IMO Amber was rude and turned me off. On my first call and in mid-sentence she said "I'm putting you on hold" , in mid-sentence.. !! she could have said something like, DO YOU MIND IF I PUT YOU ON HOLD, SOMETHING POLITE vs just cutting me off mid-sentence... and I never even got a call back !!! read more

The actual medical treatment I received here was excellent. They really cared to make sure I was making improvement. My problem is with the office staff. I was left a message one morning saying my appointment had been canceled because insurance authorization had not gone through, but she also said I would be called back as soon as it went through. That was nearly 3 weeks ago. I have tried calling in numerous times only to be told that the person in charge of billing was not in, and she would call me back. I have STILL not received a call back. All of the progress made towards relief has been wasted, and I am now so frustrated that I'm just going to give up and try to go somewhere else. read more

I was in a car accident where I ended up suffering from lower back pain...I was referred to the center for total back care by a co-worker...the staff is beyond friendly and the work they do is amazing. There is a chiropractor on site who is phenomenal and the physical therapy staff is fantastic! They have these machines that can isolate a specific area and they work that area to build the strength. The name seriously says it all...total back care!! Additionally at the end of every PT session you have stem therapy and soft tissue therapy...I highly recommend this place if you have back pain or neck pain... read more

I have experienced on and off chronic back pain for several years. The pain comes from a herniated disc in my lower back. After trying almost everything from physical therapy to pain management injections, I had almost gave up hope and decided I might need surgery. That was the case until I found The Center for Total Back Care! I found them online because of their unique method of treating back pain through their MedEx machine. This machine is basically a weight resistance contraption that isolates the movement to only your pelvis. By doing this, it strengthens your back muscles. The staff is great. Very friendly and helpful. The only reason I give four stars is because of an issue I ran into with their billing system. They don't send you a bill in the mail to pay at a later date. Instead, they make you pay every time you come in. It got to be a bit of a financial burden after some time. Overall, it's a great place to get help of you're struggling with back pain! read more

After going to the Center for Total Back Care, going through their treatment for a few months, then my pain finally decreased. I highly recommend this place for back and neck pain. I have had gradual onset lower back pain and a disk in my neck has started to calcify. I would get headaches frequently and always have this nagging feeling that I need to pop my neck. I have been to many chiropractors, but none that incorporates physical therapy and I'm really impressed. The staff is excellent and very friendly. They ask how you have been feeling since the last treatment, have you do a series of stretches, and then you go on some strength building machines that compare your neck and back strength to what the averages of people your weight, height, age, etc. After PT there is stem treatment followed by massage and adjustment. It's seriously the whole package. After the first few treatments I was sore and fatigued, and started having doubt. But I stuck with it and I'm at about 5 treatments now and I feel like a whole new me. read more

I have been dealing with back pain for over 2 years, went to 4 different specialist and tried physical therapy with another location and visited 2 chiropractors as well. Finally my pcp asked me to try the center for total back care; it's far from my where I live so that's why he didn't think I'd want to start here. I was at my wits end and wasn't sleeping well or able to do anything physical or sit for long periods of time. Well I wish I would have found them years ago when this all started. The receptionist is one of the nicest people I've ever dealt with she scheduled me with Dr. Jolly And Armando; they are truly amazing! They make you work hard don't get me wrong but they allow you to work at your comfort level and let you ease into therapy. In the past physical therapy I've been to they pushed me to hard and I felt worse than when I started so I just gave up. However, with Dr. Jolly and Armando after 3 visits I was walking limp free, after 5 visits I was able to hike diamond head in Hawaii with little issues at all! Now that's saying something! Seriously if you have back pain you can't seem to get under control this practice gets you back on track quickly and educates you so your aware of how your body works. They are simply amazing, professional, and know what they are doing. The personal treatment you will receive will impress you, I forgot my headphones once and as soon as I walked in they handed them to me I didn't even have to ask for them. Dr Jolley, Mike and the staff are professionals and I feel blessed that they are helping me get better with my lower back .
