I found this experience very misleading. They assured me there would be no issues with my flexible spending as this is treated as a prescription and now that's suspended due to lack of documentation I can't get. They recommended a number of visits but neglected to tell me only a small portion of that recommendation were covered under the plan. They spent an average of 2 minutes per visit working with me but said there's no way to tell if the issue could be resolved. The additional 2 minute visits cost $20.00 each. Ultimately I found a chiropractor who was able to resolve the issue. I do not recommend this company at all. Buyer beware and take nothing on its face. read more

Wow, the care and energy of this place speaks for itself. Starting with your greeting at the front door to the end of your adjustment. As an athlete with multiple prior injuries, I'm not the easiest to adjust, but Katie heard everything I had to say and had no problem getting me realigned. I come here weekly for a "tune up" lol. I love the convenience of their hours and locations. I've been going here for over 5 years and can feel the difference if I skip a week. I also drive up north and when I get there my back hurts so I can go to one up there for relief. She's not only skilled with adjustments--she somehow knows exactly where your back is holding your stress, childhood trauma, and possibly your last bad decision. She's warm, funny, and so knowledgeable, I'd let her adjust my spine blindfolded on a unicycle. (But, like, please don't.) And Sharon--oh, Sharon. If Chick-fil-A customer service had a face, it would be hers. She remembers your name, makes scheduling feel like a breeze, and greets you like you're family... the favorite family member, not the weird cousin from New York. Honestly, I'd stop by just to say hi and bask in her front-desk aura. Now, full disclosure: I used to go to the McDowell Mountain Ranch location during the week. But lately? It's been so quiet over there, I was expecting tumbleweeds and a haunted saloon. That place doesn't come alive until Friday when Dr. Jeff appears like a chiropractic Batman. If Dr. Katie and Dr. Jeff ever decided to tag team--my spine would probably ascend into a higher plane of existence. I love how quick and easy it is. Only problem is with the hustle and bustle I don't always get in unless I'm in pain or slept funny. Perhaps I should buy a package and use them as I need them. One location I went to stated the bathroom was for employees only. I'm pretty sure it's not good business to not provide a restroom as a business. It was the Lincoln and Scottsdale road location. Some chiros are better than others, but convenience and ease I'll go with 5 stars. The "manager" here, who isn't the actual manager (actual manager doesn't work on weekends), keeps lying and giving me and my husband misinformation about when we can use our sessions. Very unprofessional and unethical. We signed up 02/11/2023 and we were given 6 sessions for our first introductory month. We were traveling and unable to use our sessions. They said they can change our billing date to 03/31, and we would have 4 new sessions starting in April. We used our last session of the 6 on 03/31. When we came for our first new session on 04/11, we were told we only had 3 sessions left, but we should've had 4 sessions at the start of April. They kept saying, "oh, well your billing date was 03/31, so technically you would have to use it by 03/30, so you already used one of your new sessions on 03/31." They previously told us we would have 4 sessions in the new month. If they communicated correctly that we had to use it by 03/30, we would've come before then, but that's not what they communicated to us. They said, "it's just one session? Okay, we will give one free session to make up for it, and you have until May 11th to use your remaining sessions. Actually, you have until May 10th because the billing end date is May 11th." We also decided at this point we would not renew because of the miscommunication. We used the first session 04/11, went one more time on 04/25, and we should've had 2 sessions remaining. We didn't come end of April or early May because I was sick. On 05/06, when I recovered, we came in to use our 3rd session, and the "manager" told us we no longer had a wellness plan, sessions don't roll over, and there's nothing she can do. She was the same person who we spoke to on 04/11, who told us we have until 05/10, and she didn't remember what she told us before. They didn't take down any notes on our account, so we basically just lost 2 sessions. We are so frustrated by the miscommunications and the misinformation that this lady is telling us. I wanted to come an leave a honest review. P.S. my story happened about 2-3 years ago. Long story short I lost major mobility in my back. From a spinal injury to my lower back I didn't know I had until one day I had a freak accident. Which lead me to the ER and basically the doctors proscribed me medicine and said I'd be fine. Which in fact I was not. A few days passed by and it got so bad to the point I physically could not lift my upper body up. Imagine the panic I had. Having no ability to get up, I felt I'd never have my life back. And to be told I'd be fine by doctors with medicine which I was taking that didn't even help and being literally incapable to move. I cried literally everyday, until my mom took me here with a consistency of recommended appointments for months, I ditched the medication the first day I came here and prayed it help. I can't remember who my chiropractors were but I never got to say thank you. Mainly because of your work it took time but you gave me my life back. I really mean that whole heartedly over time I was able to pick myself up but the injury had its cons because I physically was shaking every time I tried but overall I'm fully recovered now. I will be a returning customer to prevent what happened to be years ago. But I drove by here the other day and totally forgot to write and amazing review because if it honestly wasn't for your company's help I know for a fact I would not have a lot of mobility in my core and back as of now. This place is racist and their customers service lacks morals and respect. The front check in lady kept yelling at my parents because they did spoke a little English and when I tried to call and see what the issue was she was yelling at me over the phone on how they needed to sign paper work and she could not help them. I asked her can you reviewed them with them and she was like not she needs to understand what she's signing I've been telling them they need to understand. Came here because my normal location is closed on Sundays and I saw a review praising a practitioner here. I showed up and Dr Katie introduced herself. She was the first person at the joint to ever introduce themselves as "Doctor ____" so I asked her if everyone that worked there was a doctor, and what type of doctor she is because I'm fascinated by interesting people and things. This seemed to set her off, and even though I shared with her that I'd come specifically because of positive reviews, her ego seemed hurt by my doctor question. I don't know anything about chiropractic practice and it honestly doesn't matter to me, but it seemed to be a whole thing I stepped into. She proceeded to give me the worst, most rushed adjustment I've received in the last 3-4 years. It was weirdly aggressive. Having close personal and professional ties to doctors of medicine, science, psychology etc, I know (on a secondhand basis) the responsibility of being a doctor and this was a sad excuse for practice. Felt like a curb your enthusiasm episode. If you have to go here, whatever you do, don't bring up the difference between Chiropractic Doctors and MDs. read more

I went to the female doctor today (I forgot her name sorry!) and I have never been adjusted so well. Many times I've gone to other locations and some doctors are way to gentle and never give me the adjustment I'm really looking for. Today she made my back feel great again and will be going back to this location in Tempe more often! read more

This is the only joint location I trust to actually fix my miss-aligned hip/back issues simply because of the doctors at the location , all of the doctors I've experienced here always have me leaving feeling better, doctor Gerard is by far my favorite, one major issue.. there is one specific receptionist who I genuinely feel disappointed when I see she's working, I believe her name is Sharron, I went in yesterday 1-3-25 I canceled my wellness plan and she said "I don't know why you're canceling because you need us", she's always been very pushy and arrogant every time I've been in, trying to force me to go with the wellness plan instead of a one time visit, every interaction I've had with her has been mildly awkward and uncomfortable, understandable that it's a sales position as well as receptionist but if someone says no don't push and try to force things on them and make them uncomfortable. read more

Had my initial visit where I bought 5+ sessions and both the local and corporate office are refusing a refund to a new customer who didn't even get to use the service and can't for some time. I've been with the joint for years and here's why. The job I had at the time had me driving all over the valley/state. Also, I've been an athlete for years. Lifting heavy weight and sitting all day doesn't mix. I needed to find a place I could drop in on and get adjusted. Also, not all chiropractors are the same. I needed to find one that could fix me. After bouncing one clinic to another i found Dr. Pete. I've had some other good ones but he's my guy. I've followed him every time he chances locations. That's whats special about the joint, you can keep trying different doctors until you find the right one for you. read more

The sales department or billing department just called and offered me a free month. I appreciated their customer service and will recommend them to someone looking for their business model. I found the adjustments to be good, albeit short. I will be ending my subscription because it doesn't seem to fit my lifestyle. I will probably be returning to a different regular office for occasional adjustments. (Though $39 per adjustment is affordable.) The fact they don't roll over didn't seem like a big deal but I had a really hard month with a death in the family and work so I didn't use all of my adjustments. I would suggest they employ online billing in the future and a possible rollover considering each appointment I've had has lasted less than 5 minutes. read more

Best location! Dr. Pete has been adjusting me for nearly 5 years since I moved to the area. He knows exactly what I need for immediate headache relief. I've been going to chiropractors most of my life and Dr. Pete's one of the absolute best I've seen. I recently had my first child and Dr. Pete adjusted me throughout my pregnancy which really helped with back and hip pain and general discomfort. I also have to give a shout out to Sharyn at checkin. I haven't experienced this poor of customer service In such a long time. Im still in shock after speaking with Sharon Teller, at the Rio Salado location. I admit I was already nervous and skeptical receive a consultation, and alignment after scheduling the new patient package for $29, but I did my research and read reviews about this chain and decided to take the risk. I had already registered online for a service, but when I walked i was shutdown. I was told they do not take first timers, only people who come in for "maintenance". She told me they do not offer CT scans, MRIs or order them, that they are strictly there for patients in and out. I told her I had been in a car accident a few years back and have had chronic back pain since; I work out regularly to maintenance around the pain and I feel irritated it at work lifting something very light. As soon as she heard the word work, she wanted to classify my injury as workers comp, which I tried multiple times to explain to her the injury was prior, she just spoke over me stating there was nothing they can do for me. Referring me to a Dr. down the street that used to work there. I can accept whatever your practice is, but she was so blatantly rude, I was truly embarrassed. I chose the Rio Salado location because it was close by but I do not recommend anyone to do business with them if that is the attitude and energy they treat new people seeking help. read more
