I contacted Dale about two jobs at our house. 1) Wiring a detached garage with lights, outlets and garage door opener. 2) Set up 50 amp wiring for a hot tub next to the backyard deck. Dale was able to come out to take a look at the job very quickly and was detailed in his explanation for his quote. Just watching him think through the job, made me know he was very thorough. The challenges we faced at this particular house was that while we did already have a 50amp sub panel, the main breaker was already full. Dale pointed out the issues with running the hot tub (which needs 50 amps) to the one sub panel and then essentially still needing a spot for the garage circuits and the other breakers on the existing sub panel. None of this had been pointed out to me from previous quotes. The garage was done exceptionally well. Wiring was very clean and allowed for an outlet on each side of the garage and ran an outlet to the ceiling for easy access to the garage opener. They really helped me think through all the options for outlet placement and what made the most sense for what I would be needing. Despite the garage already being somewhat dirty, they vacuumed and broom swept the whole floor to pick up any saw dust from the drilling for the wires. Really happy with how it turned out. The hot tub was much of the same. Less aesthetics on this one, but we have a finished basement with dropped ceilings with very little room to work above. Dale and his partner did a great job working through the limited space that they had added the 100 amp sub panel right under the main panel to keep everything easy to access and neat. While Dale's work was done without issue, he also went the extra mile to test that the hot tub would turn on and work perfectly. It was during that time that we learned we had an issue with the heater that was causing the tub to emergency shut off. Dale wound up staying until well after 6pm trouble shooting what he thought was the problem (the heater) and was able to manually bypass the shut off to confirm that yes the wiring worked perfectly fine and the tub would run if we didn't use the heater. I likely would have needed to spend a couple hundred dollars to bring somewhat to look at the tub, had he not troubleshooted it for me and identified what was likely the issue. Nothing but great things to say about the services provided by Dale. Would absolutely recommend to others whether it be something like a hot tub install or other electrical wiring. My detached garage 100 amp service stopped working. This was a pretty big issue since it powers my septic system pump. It was a weekend night so I did a search quick google search and called Reeder Electric. Dale answered and was at my house 30 minutes later. He troubleshoot the issue, which was a bad power cable. This was a big issue that could not be fixed that night so Dale installed a temporary power line for the septic pump so the septic system would continue to work. After digging a trench, installing conduit and new cable the system is up and working again. Dale did a great job a I highly recommend him for any electrical work you need. read more
