Step back to the 70's decor nothing about this place is contemporary. Quite run down and slummy. Enjoy !

It's hard to rate this hotel. The service is good, lets get that out of the way. The front…read morereception service are friendly, informative and quick. Parking underneath is nightmarish, so try to avoid it (plenty opposite the hotel). It's designed for the tiniest of cars only, which you can tel from all the scrapes on the walls. The rooms are ordinary. They do need to do some strong vacuuming and do a refurbish on bathrooms. But ultimately there are not many accommodation places up north in the hotel vein, so the impression I'm getting is that the owners are running this place without refurb until they sell. It's tired and needs a refresh.
Stay one night here. Only rooms near the beach have great view. Facility and furniture in room is…read moreOK. Love it when there is spa in bathroom. Pool and hot tub (spa) is available from 7am-10pm which is nice. The view from the pool during sunrise and sunset is awesome! Staffs are very friendly and happy to keep my luggage when I come early and go to Ku-ring-gai Chase. Everything is good, except for the price. $250/night is pricey comparing with The Arm nearby for only $170/ night. You are also required to pre-authorise $100 on your credit card upon check-in which is a big surprise for me.

This place looks like it is the front bar of a fancy hotel, but then again it probably has a lot…read moremore to do with developers, and also it being located near the beach. It was a bit flashy for my tastes - I'm not a big fan of classy establishments, but it still seemed to have a bit of a decent atmosphere about it, and also a reasonable selection of beers available on tap. Okay, while it wouldn't be one that I would actively return to (for obvious reasons), it was still quite nice.
Came for the Zeus Burger, and sweet mother mary it did not disappoint. It's the burger equivalent…read moreof Elvis in his fat and sweaty phase and also he's Greek and his mother is yelling at him to do the washing up but he tells her to be shut up because he's playing X-Box and eating kebabs. It's got a double wagyu patty and shaved kebab meat and hummous and chilli sauce and cheddar and quinoa tabouli and fries on the burger and it's giant two-hander, a real face messer-upper, you'll have rich juice all down your collar if you're not quick with a napkin. Also got a side of fried pickles with garlic mayo and they were the full battered pickles, not those little sliced discs you sometimes get. Got there at 5pm after some beach action and the place was deserted, but as soon as it hit 5.30pm and kitchen opened, BOOM! every man and his burger hunger was there. It's a pretty sleek fitout, and a cavernous pub, almost like a really fancy RSL with the pokie room (yuck) at the back. If i was a local, this would be on my hot list.
