It's hard to rate this hotel. The service is good, lets get that out of the way. The front reception service are friendly, informative and quick. Parking underneath is nightmarish, so try to avoid it (plenty opposite the hotel). It's designed for the tiniest of cars only, which you can tel from all the scrapes on the walls. The rooms are ordinary. They do need to do some strong vacuuming and do a refurbish on bathrooms. But ultimately there are not many accommodation places up north in the hotel vein, so the impression I'm getting is that the owners are running this place without refurb until they sell. Stay one night here. Only rooms near the beach have great view. Facility and furniture in room is OK. Love it when there is spa in bathroom. Pool and hot tub (spa) is available from 7am-10pm which is nice. The view from the pool during sunrise and sunset is awesome! Staffs are very friendly and happy to keep my luggage when I come early and go to Ku-ring-gai Chase. Everything is good, except for the price. $250/night is pricey comparing with The Arm nearby for only $170/ night. You are also required to pre-authorise $100 on your credit card upon check-in which is a big surprise for me. read more
