Fished with Jerry for several years due to Jerry being a friend of a friend. Two years ago I got my…read moredates wrong paid Jerry $500 for mixup and hired a different guide for my 15 person group. Did not fish last year. This year we had 16 guys fishing. We were 12 minute late (6:12am) to the pickup point and Jerry was bad mouthing myself and our group. Apparently we were the (quick turnaround) so he could double book. My boat ran out of live shad at 8:15 and we were told that we had to be back at the dock at 9AM. Although the other two boats caught a bunch of fish. My boat (5 people) caught approximately 10 very small striper. So basically our "half day" of fishing meant we were back at the dock at 9AM. My group (Jerry describes as old men) will never use anyone associated with Jerry again. I really hate being screwed.

Due to weather we were not able to fish (sad face) and nor was it possible to reschedule due to the distance we were traveling and aligning of my parties schedules. We were promised a refund and almost 2 months later still have not received, even though it is "in the mail". He can protest all he wants (and has when inquiring the first time, on top of having a sarcastic attitude) but i have it in black and white. Any consideration I had for trying him in the future is gone and will not recommend. So hope the weather is clear for you and not traveling to far; otherwise you are SOL.

You may find this hard to believe, but it is true- The first trip I took with Travis in December of 2016 we caught and released 84 stripers between the two of us in four hours and in 6 different spots on the lake, I have been fishing with live bait with Travis, Trolling, and casting, and he has always been able to locate the fish and figure out what they will hit. the least fish we have caught and released in any of the 6 four-hour trips was 35 fish, and that was because I wimped out and asked to go in early. IMHO Travis is as good a guide as you will ever find.
