The property is beautiful and very well maintained. We went on a wagon ride and saw all sorts neat animals and learned about them from the guide. We rented fishing poles ($5) and went fishing in the stocked pond. We played with young antelopes, found turtles, and hunted for frogs and snails. We jumped in a canoe and paddled around the small lake. Stand up boards, kayaks and peddle boats are also available (unfortunately the peddle boats were out of commission today). We played sand volleyball, badminton, shuffleboard and horse shoes. Face painting, bounce houses and snacks all available too. A few more games were up on the deck as well as ducklings to pet. A wonderful way to spend the day with the family. We'll definitely be back!

Hunted out of 2 different blinds,morning and evening. Nothing! Not even a doe . Thought Texas was over run with hogs and coyotes. Nothing! I'm a person of details. When checking out the skinning shack where I stayed, the lack off blood on the floor, the freezer that looked like its never been used got me thinking. My guide had all the right clichés though. " Your doing everything right, the deer are about to start moving" , This is hard hunting, etc ". I'm hunting over baited stands for Christ sake. Did all the game go down one hole ?!! I contacted via email Oxferd Outfitters and they said after my credit card transaction was made it's now Affordable Outfitters. This raises red flags!!! They also sent a receipt via text message without any company name on it no reservation number no confirmation number. VERY, VERY SHADY!!!!!!!

Don't really do Yelp reviews but thought I'd spend time doing one in case anyone thought they'd do…read morebusiness with this outfit. Went on a dove hunt yesterday on opening weekend. After money was collected they drove us to a big sunflower field. Dropped us off barely in time to make it before it was time to start shooting. Dropped us off in a crappy location. Once it was time to legally start shooting bird, we heard everyone else shooting. We thought they must have not been shooting dove because we weren't seeing any. From 630am - about 11am, we saw about 10 legal birds total from a distance. After speaking to owner (Jace Outlaw) they picked us up and drove us to another spot where the shooting was most likely good when everyone else was shooting earlier that morning. He didn't sound surprised that we weren't seeing any bird where we were. Saw maybe another 10 birds and shot 3. Everyone else that was put in a good spot stopped shooting way before us because they probably limited out or ran out of ammo. Funny thing was that before we headed to the fields it seemed that a lot of his buddies who knew him on first name bases were also hunting that day. I'm guessing that's why we got the crappy spot. We were about the only group that didn't have a fence line spot. Once we finally decided to head out of there, he saw us and didn't even care to ask how our hunt was and instead avoided us by acting like he was talking on the phone. I heard good things about this outfit but never again. Was looking forward to having a good opening weekend dove hunt. Bonham, TX.

Kind of disappointed. Spent a lot of money to go hog hunting and from the information given we…read morethought this place was going to be great. We arrived at 3 PM to a cold less than adequate dinner left in our cabin and were told to meet our guide at 7 PM. I had a drink and we're chilling until about 630 and we decided to leave to meet our guide.We were unaware that the location was an hour from where we were staying and gathered our jackets and guns and left for our adventure. But they did not tell us is that we were meeting at a barn and would sit there in our vehicles until 1:30 AM when the pigs finally showed up. Understanding that there's a lot of waiting when you go hunting but there were no chairs, no snacks, and we left our drinks including water back at our cabin. No one told us to bring chairs or snacks to wait in the barn, it was kind of a bummer it was for my son's 40th birthday no one had been before and did not know what to expect. Would've been nice to sit in lawn chairs by a fire having a whiskey while catching up with the guys that came from all over. Oh well what is an couple thousand dollars. Oh and they did get a hog But no one told them to bring the coolers to the hunting location therefore we were unable to have the meat. Hope this information is helpful to someone and makes their trip a little better
