He wasn't acting right so I took him to the Vet Hospital in town -south end of town - and he tested for Parvo. We were obviously concerned and after a night's stay at the Emergency Vet hospital we took him to Shelley Drive. My meme had taken her dogs there when I was a kid and would visit her from Dallas. They took amazing care of Champ and he has made a full recovery! My wife picked him up today and sent me pictures of him as I'm back in California. Thanks you so much Shelley Drive! I apologized for taking up their time as I saw how super busy they were and not one person made me feel like I had been a pest..... they all totally understood how I was feeling..... I drove back home feeling much better knowing I had done everything possible, so if Sofie passed away, I wouldn't wonder should I have done more. Sofie slept so soundly that night and the next morning got up and ate and drank water and has been doing great ever since........ I can't say enough positive things about this vet clinic...... it is waaaay more than a Five Star rating.... I absolutely TRUST them with my fur baby and when it's time to put her down, I wouldn't go anywhere else except Tyler Vet Clinic!!!!! They told me to bring him the next day. We took him in as instructed and they didn't have him down to bring him in! I never received a call back the day before but finally did get a call on Tuesday asking for authorization for charges estimated to be between $700-$1000. I agreed without hesitation. I received a call from my wife 2 hours later informing me our cat had died! I called the veterinarian and had a conversation and she explained what had happened and was apologetic that they didn't call be back the day before and have me bring him in. I'm confident our cat would still be alive had we received appropriate and competent guidance on Monday. I picked up his remains on June 23 and paid the $127.50 bill. The only reason I gave one star is because there is not an option for ZERO stars.

Regretfully, after 20 years, I can no longer bring my dog to Alexis Animal Clinic. The Clinic is…read morenow lead by Dr. Kathy Crouch (TX License #7931) and Dr. Jason Anderson (FL License #VM14130). Dr. Crouch lied about my dog's care (this is evidenced), overcharged for services (other patients have attested to this), and created an awkward and traumatizing experience for my mother and me during our consultation when she began yelling at us. I have spent a lot of money trying to get my dog healthy again but the incorrectly administered vaccines, failure to provide necessary medical services, and injury suffered to my dog's neck and ears (we never got a clear answer on why her neck and ears were suddenly bleeding), may render recovery impossible. The Clinic is under several investigations by the Texas Veterinary Board (Dr. Crouch is under two investigations, alone) for harmful and unethical practices, as well as other unlawful activity. After receiving no response from Dr. Crouch or Dr. Anderson, I have decided to move ahead with legal proceedings and will update my review once the case is resolved. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully, I can save someone else from enduring the emotional and financial trouble I endured.
