I had already gotten 2 different quotes from other companies and this was the standard process. The owner then asked me if I had the measurements of my windows. I told him no I do not because the companies I received quotes from earlier had those measurements. He then asked me to share the measurements with him, and to also share with him how much I was quoted by the other companies. When I told him that I did not think that was necessary, (as his company should come and do their own homework - not just get the job based on another companys homework,) he was very flippant and rude, telling me that. Quote: ... his company gets railroaded all the time into doing this for people and then people just end up picking the cheapest one, so he is not interested in my business. He said No, I think I will pass.... Are you kidding me, I have a house with 16 windows to put blinds on and he does not want my business because he does not want to come and measure them himself! I am confused, as how else are you going to get business and turn a profit if you are not interested in putting any of your own work into it. Does he expect his clients to do all their own measurements of their windows... Left incredibly insulted and confused. I would say steer very clear of this lazy, condescending company who places absolutely ZERO importance on their customer service. Communication was on time when products had to be delayed for shipment due to manufacturer's supply problem. And the owner was prompt to have Hunter Douglas replace a problem blind due to manufacturing defect. New blind was remade and installed in about 10 days. Installer is experienced and installation was smooth and quick. Overall, it was a pleasant experience dealing with Linh's. Highly recommend Linh's if you are looking for quality window coverings.

Not only that but I call 3 to four times every week before I get a call back. I am hoping that something happens soon, but I am ready to call my credit card and ask for my money back. So called on the 24th of August, after two promises of delivery, and asked for Chris. It went to voice mail, so I called back. I told them that I was contemplating calling my credit card and cancelling the order, so I got a call back from Chris, guaranteeing that they would have the windows in by September 1, 2023. So I did call my credit card company and told them the story. If the windows are in and installed in a reasonable manner I may up my review hopefully to a four. Stay tuned for an update.

Now two and a half years later when the seal between the outside and middle panes on a three pane window is gone, they want to charge for the labor to install a replacement. Up front, we were told the warranty included everything, windows and service, but now it seems the service warranty was only for two years. How convenient. A year later we needed two more windows replaced. I called them and they sent out the older gentleman who seemed knowledgeable and informative but we never did get a quote from them. In the following weeks I called several times asking for the quote but no one ever responded. Right now I'm glad they didn't as I would be worrying about what it would cost if two more of their windows were to have problems. As others have mentioned, Chris is the company's worst enemy. She is rude, gets triggered by the simplest of questions, and never returns calls left on her voicemail. I can only think that she is an owner otherwise any company with commonsense management would have got rid of her long ago. All I can say is avoid this company, there are several better options in Edmonton and area.

The level of service was exceptional and something I did not find anywhere else. Other businesses seemed to cater more towards contractors and big business, not willing to take the time to explain products or procedures to a home owner. I felt confident and at ease with my purchase after visiting the HERR showroom. Picking out a new front door was the fun part, but Randy and is crew also did an impeccable job on the installation. Having been built in the 50's the original door was not a normal size in any dimension by modern standards. We opted to replace the door and jamb with a standard size (though custom sizing was available) and I was nervous about how the new smaller door might look/function. Randy and his crew did such a great job with the new jamb and trim that you would never know that the door size had been changed. The crew was polite and kept the job site very tidy.
