We golfed at reflection Bay as a foursome and paid $135 each when we got to the Golf Course and we were ready to tee off. We had asked the starter how fast the greens are and he looked at us and says are you kidding? We just punched it on Monday and unaware of this because we had bought the foursome and prepaid a month and a half earlier they never called us and told us so I went back to the pro shop and explain my dilemma. Think that maybe they might give us some kind of discount and I asked one of them and he goes. Oh let me go talk to the pro and then he comes back and says we can give you your money back or you can just pay play and pay the full amount. That's it what a dick move I had friends from out of town that were looking forward to this and they were highly disappointed as I was so I just wanna say real bad customer service. read more

Finally had the chance to tee it up at Reflection Bay GC and it did not disappoint. This course without a doubt is highly regarded for its beautiful setting and stunning views of Lake Las Vegas! Reminds me of being in Tuscany. Golf course offers many memorable holes, specifically the par 5 15th and especially 17th/18th stretch along the water. Just be warned that with the winds makes this is really challenging hole! Staff was friendly and golf carts were clean and equipped with GPS. Many may argue that the greens fees may not match the quality of the course, but I thought the course was in pristine condition when I played. read more

We golfed here in mid July and to say it was hot was an understatement! Luckily, the green fees were reasonable because of the heat, us 4 hackers gave it a go. The course was in great shape. The fairways were nice a green and the greens were very fast. the couple bunkers I found were in good condition and not like hitting off of concrete. We had golfers give up at the turn, but for the price, we decided to tough it with wet towels and alot of water. It's a shame that the cooler it gets, the green fees go from $70 in July to $140 in October. Nonetheless, the round was great and the 19th hole made it better! We refreshed ourselves and took in some much needed cool air. The food was great and the atmosphere was relaxed. We will be golfing there again in the future. read more

So in what business do you charge a resident of Clark County and a resident of Lake Las Vegas non resident rates to play golf? I had friends from out of town that made a tee time, they had an open spot, so I joined them, however the club would not allow my residence rate? Go figure. Golfed here a few weeks back and can honestly say this is the worst value in the Las Vegas area. For the price, it's simply not worth it, you can play much better courses for half the cost. Greens were awful and the overall course condition was poor. The worst part was the staff, especially Matt in the pro shop. Appreciated the 10% off with invited clubs. Also the $20 coupon for the shop- picked up a nice shirt :) Course was gorgeous. Warm up area was nice. Mark, the starter, was very kind. Pace of play was excellent. Service on the course was great. Golf carts were in great condition and I appreciated the GPS, as it was my first time on this course. I would love to come back and play again. I played with two others that live in the neighborhood, and that was helpful as they were able to give me tips. Played a great 18, ending up with a birdie on the 18th and a total score of 98. It was Easter weekend so it was not very busy. I did not have time to eat at the restaurant after. The course itself is in decent shape. It's a very good course for longer hitters as a lot of the par 4's feed down so there's corners to cut and so forth. It's a fun course. Im giving 4 stars because the service was incredible. We had a gentleman help us to and from our cars. The clubhouse itself was nice. They have a small bar and restaurant area. Reflection Bay Golf Club in Lake Las Vegas offers a Jack Nicklaus designed course that offers sweeping views of the lake and multi-million dollar homes. Just a 30 minute drive from the strip, Lake Las Vegas is tucked away in a semi mountainous region. It really doesn't feel like Las Vegas as there are no casinos nearby when you arrive. On this December visit to Reflection Bay, the course was definitely pretty rough being that it was winter in Las Vegas, the grass seems to be dormant. The only green parts of the course were the tee boxes and the greens. Fairways were dry and the grass was really brown. Talking to the staff they had told me they will close the course for a couple of months to redo the greens which made a lot of sense. Overall it was fun for my first time playing golf in Las Vegas. I just wish the turf conditions were better that day. I will definitely come back when they do all the necessary repairs. read more

This is the second course that I had planned to play on this trip to Las Vegas. I arrived and was met by the staff and he helped get my clubs into a cart. The staff was friendly when I checked in and I proceeded to the 10th hole which was my starting hole. I started out alone but was joined by another single after a few holes. Fortunately he was a regular and was able to point out targets for me to hit too. The course was in excellent condition and the weather though cool was nice and sunny. I played a better round than when I played Paiute which was not surprising. I did enjoy the round but took a few shots before getting used to the Bermuda grass. I like the course very much and will play there again if given the opportunity. read more

Bag drop guy was great. Friendly and helpful. Clubhouse is clean and impressive. Pro shop was cool. Lots of stuff. Practice facility is nets but these are professional and setup nicely. I actually kind of liked it. Concentrated more on my swing and contact versus watching where the ball goes. And all you need to do is warm up anyways. Chipping area is fine. Very tight. I think the grass is Bermuda. And it was cut tight. Putting area right in front of the starter is really nice. Manicured and meticulous. Starter (Mark) is a friendly and funny guy. Chatted with him a little bit. Course layout is 10 out of 10. Peninsula greens, and semi island green, elevation changes, wash areas, etc. You have to think about your shots. Tee boxes were in great condition. Fairways on almost every hole were cut too short in my opinion. It was close to hitting off of hardpan. Which for an average golfer is difficult. Balls would roll forever if you skulled one. Not sure if this was a mistake or they cut them this close all the time???? Greens were in good condition, just harder than other courses we played. Divots were shallow. There was quite a bit of goose crap on some holes. Drink cart only came twice the whole round. Pin placement on some holes was borderline not fair imo. You don't put a pin on a massive slope. This is not the PGA. GPS was off. I verified this with my rangefinder. Like 10 yrds off. I wondered why a few of my shots were coming up short even after I hit them pure. And the yardages were from center and back. They did not program tee yardages like other courses do. Not a big deal if they use different color flags. But all were black. I think this course is tailored to members and they all assume you will be using rangefinders. Not a big deal unless you are an out of towner. Just FYI. Carts were great. Electric, quiet, and smooth. Too many ads. Exclusion zones where the cart forces you to back up are a little off. I was 10 yrds from a sand trap in the fairway and it went off. I think their GPS needs calibration. I will say this. We were way behind pace due to 2 fresh golfers and no one said anything. We got lucky the group behind us was slower than us. So I will say that was nice they didn't come out and push us. Because they had every right to imo. Golf club cleaner guy, cart return cleaner girl, were great. Attentive and hustling. So staff was great overall. So overall I would probably come back. The fees were higher than the course shape justified imo. The grass was just cut too tight. I was putting from 20 yards off the green many times. Just easier than skulling a chipping wedge. So 3.5 imo read more

My son and and I were excited to play this course. The views this course give you are nice, however the conditions were extremely disappointing for the price. We played Angel Park (Mountain Course) for way less and the conditions were 100'xs better. The greens at Reflection Bay were awful and un-puttable. The t-times were virtually on top of each other. We waited on every shot and we're not the best players. We'd love to give this course another chance, but given the experience we had, we don't see the value. What a great course! The greens were nice and fast, the Fairways were painted green which I didn't like because it was some kind of long-term care for the winter. I forget what they call it but I just didn't care for it, but I got used to it after the first four or five holes. Bad greens and some arrogant workers. High price for concrete greens and snotty golf shop personnel. There are better choices for the money. Dining Room service folks and the food were great. Cart girls were great too. Who ever installed the pins did not roll the grass afterward because the balls would roll away from the cups on all sides like the cups were raised up. I can't thank Tarry, David, Rachel and the entire team enough for all their hard work, dedication, guidance on our wedding day. Our original wedding date was canceled in 2020 just 3 days prior due to Covid; we were devastated as you can imagine, but just recently in October 21st, we were FINALLY able to have our dream day. Reflection Bay stuck by our side through it all with compassion and professionalism to finally deliver a beautiful and memorable day for us. Everything was great from the ease of communication, the food and beverage service were outstanding (hard to say for wedding food and I'm being honest!) advocating for us with the other vendors, guidance in vision, execution of event. The view is stunning and the service exceptional. Tarry and David truly went out of their way to make our day far better than we had even expected. Even though nothing will ever go perfectly to plan on your special day and it was difficult being a bride and taking care of my one year old all night also; Reflection Bay did their utmost to make our day very memorable, enjoyable and special for us. It truly was a dream come true! Wish I had more pictures to share but still waiting for the professional photos. The only recommendations I would make is that some areas of the venue are in need of updates and better lighting especially for hair and makeup in the bridal suite. I was parked in the parking lot, waiting for my friend who had reserved time for a game of golf, enjoying the view of the lake. However, I was unexpectedly approached by the security personnel and asked to leave the premises. The security officer claimed that the general manager (John Openshaw) had instructed him to remove me, even though I had not left my vehicle or tried to enter the golf course. The security personnel informed me that the manager had observed me parked on camera and immediately notified residential security who instructed me to leave. As a result of this experience, I advised my friend to cancel our reservations and have resolved not to patronize or recommend Reflection Bay Golf Course to anyone in my network. Do better! The menu and food in the Cove Club restaurant is very disappointing. The menu is updated monthly but the updates are similar (if not exactly the same) to the regular menu. The last time we dined there the steak was so tough 3 out of 4 of us could not eat it and sent it back. The staff is not open to suggestions regarding menu choices. With all of the fabulous restaurants to choose from in the area I would recommend going elsewhere to enjoy a nice dining experience. read more

The greens are terrible. The ball just bounces up and down on every putt and they still charge over $200 to play here.

I loved Reflection Bay. The prices are a bit steep for non-Las Vegas residents (even steep for Vegas residents) but worth the round. The course is about 30 minutes from the strip and is in a whole different world once you leave the hustle and bustle of the strip. The course is nice. Manicured fairways, tee boxes and fast greens (lots of non-fixed green divots though). Remember, fix your divot and fix one or two more others! The cardinal rule of fixing the greens! The view of the man-made bay is also nice! Reflection is the right word to describe it, as you're teeing off on some of the holes, you'll truly get a nice view of the lake and reflection off the water. The staff at Reflection Bay were nice, helpful and attentive. As a resort course, I didn't feel pressured to have my clubs wiped off or clubs carried to the car, etc. I would be back, just wished the green fees weren't so expensive. read more

After being a victim of the economy years ago, this facility closed and reopened almost 2 years ago. I finally was able to check it out before boarding the Contessa here. It was great to see the course green again after it was brown for way too long. Very nice looking facility with a pro shop, and I didn't search for the restaurant which I think it has. When I checked their Web site there was no mention of a restaurant. The pro shop sells some Lake LV stuff such as Tervis mugs as well as much golf related merchandise. It's definitely an upscale atmosphere and if you're a golfer you probably already know the course's great reputation. They had stand up paddle boarding advertised here along with some logo stuff in the pro shop. So, this might also be a starting point for that lake activity. read more
