We talked through my desire to add some highlights to blend my root growout and grays into the brighter ends. I showed her some reference photos and she talked me through some recommendations before she got to work. She was super empathetic and checked with me after lightening to confirm the right toner shade and cut to be sure I was comfortable. She was so patient, talented and kind and really eased my salon fears.! The salon has a super cozy vibe and lots of natural light. All of the staff I interacted with were super sweet gals. I scheduled an appointment for a pedicure and was told it included a half hour reflexology treatment .... $42 cash or check only . I read about their wonderful pedicure chair in a Yahoo review. Overall the service did not meet my expectations , and was one of shortest pedicures I've had, an hour or so.The foot soak was short the massage was mediocre and the calluses near my big toes were barely treated . The chair may have had vibrating features but I was not asked if I'd like them .... perhaps they cost more ? To top that off, my pedicurist's daughter arrived during my service and carried on a conversation with my pedicurist for more than half the time . A little over two weeks later and the polish has chipped on a couple of toes, and a few toe nails needed trimming. Unfortunately I had forgotten to bring my own polish and am unable to cover the chips . Though the place has a very Zen atmosphere, the service it self was disappointing, especially for the price, $ 50 ( $42+ tip).

A chill walk through the beautiful Adirondack sights, I went to the town area and found Coast to Coast. I made an appointment and when it came, I was welcomed by a very lovely woman who led me to where they do the manicure. The place was very clean and decorated lovely. She was very kind and gave me a great manicure. She tried to get in a conversation with me, but I didn't talk much since I'm used to not talking with the manicurists. I really should have; she was really nice. At that time, I didn't know about the act of giving a tip, so I didn't give her one. I should've, though, she gave me a great service. I would go back if in the area. If you are near, definetely give this place a try. It's worth a visit.

We came for a bachelorette party on a Thursday with 4 ladies and they were able to work the schedule in a way where everyone was able to get what they wanted and all finish at the same time. A nice relaxation waiting area with relaxing music and dim lighting which I liked. The 30 minute facial was very relaxing and I would 100% get that done again. My friends said the chocolate massage and hot stone massage were amazing. 2 ladies got the hand and foot reflexology, which they were not super impressed by. They said it was nice at some points, but most of the time the techniques were too rough. One said she mentioned the pressure was too hard and the person giving the massage actually went harder and told her it was a problem point they should work out. She was sore to the touch for the entire weekend. She also mentioned that the woman was texting during the service! The other got bruised on her arm (picture included). Would I come back, absolutely! Would I get the reflexology, probably not.

Also, used to be you could use the hotel fitness room and pool if you book a massage, but no longer. Given the price point here--I know it's a high-end establishment and all, but still...even for a great massage, it doesn't quite seem worth it any longer. Finally, my experience checking out was a bit frustrating. I had a gift card that it took them like 10 minutes to process, and I learned at the end of that process that the Sagamore deducts $2/month from gift cards after 12 months, costing me $24--seems particularly ballsy and egregious for what is essentially a seasonal place. So unfortunately, the quality of the massage doesn't quite make this spa visit/experience seem worth it.

I waited 20 minutes although I had scheduled an appointment earlier that morning, and the woman who did my nails was actually a hair stylist. She cut my cuticles so hard is two places they bleed, and the "massage" was a 5-minute (if that) hot stone rub. To dry my nails, she used the same dryer that was on the floor for feet. There was hair all over it, and she didn't wipe it down or put a towel down until she noticed that I wasn't touching the dryer because of hair. Then she walked away without saying anything and started cutting someone's hair! I expected more from this type of establishment that charges double what other salon charge. For $100 a mani/pedi, they can afford to have separate dryers for hands and feet. Worst of all, although I kept my nails under the drying machine for 30 minutes, three of them had already smudge within two hours of the appointment.
