We talked through my desire to add some highlights to blend my root growout and grays into the brighter ends. I showed her some reference photos and she talked me through some recommendations before she got to work. She was super empathetic and checked with me after lightening to confirm the right toner shade and cut to be sure I was comfortable. She was so patient, talented and kind and really eased my salon fears.! The salon has a super cozy vibe and lots of natural light. All of the staff I interacted with were super sweet gals. I have very…read moredeep cuticle pockets along the sides of my nails, and it's extremely rare to find a nail tech who actually takes the time to clean them out properly. Most places just dremel, file, and dip, and the powder ends up sitting on top of those areas instead of being clean and smooth. Coco is different. She genuinely makes the effort to thoroughly clean out my cuticles and those deep side areas so everything looks neat, smooth, and professionally done. It makes a huge difference in how my nails look, feel, and last. The salon itself is also incredibly relaxing. I love the fish tanks, which are 100% taken care of with pride, the music, and especially the TV. They play videos by Li Ziqi, who is absolutely fascinating to watch. Her beautifully filmed cooking and traditional rural lifestyle videos are so calming and really add to the salon's overall vibe. Coco is very sweet and cares about her clients. I also had another young lady do my ANC there recently, who was fantastic as well. A+++++ experience all around!

In May I had a 9am appointment--when I went in there was one employee for both me and another woman who also had a 9am appointment. The woman waited for 25 minutes (even though she was told someone will be here in 10min) and started to leave which then the employee jumped up from working on my nails to chase this woman to the door literally begging her to wait/not to leave. It was very uncomfortable but it got so. much. worse. The late employee finally showed up which then erupted a series of yelling angry conversations that were off and on again the entire time I was there. The woman working on my nails was yelling and got so into her argument at a point that she threw her hands up and accidentally threw the nail polish brush! The gel manicure looked fine despite all the fighting but I was extremely uncomfortable. I denied the massage that comes with the manicure but she insisted so I reluctantly gave in figuring maybe it will help since I was feeling stressed. Horrible idea. She started yelling at her coworker while standing right over my head giving me a "massage"! The massage started to hurt as she got angrier. She scoffed and grabbed my shoulders really hard at the same time. The night of the gel manicure there was already a chip on my thumb nail which turned into more than half the gel peeled up by the next morning. Horrible quality gel manicure. The WORST was when I went back for a gel removal. I asked for a removal and another gel manicure. I was rushed to pick my color. The nail tech used a drill with a metal tip and I noticed she was pretty aggressive with it, but figured she knew what she was doing. Nope! 5 minutes later she started painfully pushing on my pinky nail, my nails are very long for natural, she kept pushing so hard she broke my nail!!! It hurt and bled. She said sorry, I will cut them all short. Great.... I told her I didn't want a gel manicure anymore, just the removal. HER ATTITUDE TOTALLY CHANGED! This is when she said "your nails are weak." I couldn't believe what I was hearing...was she actually trying to blame her mistake on me? I asked her what and yup, she again said the same thing. That really made me mad because she was the one who had weakened my nails using the drill so irresponsibly, plus it was just over the top unprofessionalism (which this salon seems to exude.) Please look at my pictures for proof. You can clearly see many horizontal cuts obviously caused by the drill during gel removal. I was still charged full price for the gel removal. The employee had a really bad attitude the whole time after I didn't want the gel manicure. I was so caught off by the whole thing and her rudeness that I just paid to get out of there but I wish I didn't. I got home and really didn't feel right about paying for the terrible service I just received--called them and they denied knowing anything about what I was talking about, and said I'd have to come back in. I told them it's been 15 minutes since I left you can talk to the nail tech but they refused to even try. I wasn't driving back without confirmation of a refund. I told them I'd text them a picture of my bloody nail for proof to see if they'd refund me if I came in, but they did not accept, to which I told them I'd be writing them a proper review.

Our Nail Techs were both very sweet and professional and our toes look great now! The prices here are very reasonable and the quality of services is excellent.
