Before I visited Salon Innova, It had been a year of growing out a terrible cut from another salon. (I included my "before" photo of grown out cut/color)I met with Sarah and talked about my anxiety after my last cut and showed her the photos of the terrible cut! We talked through my desire to add some highlights to blend my root growout and grays into the brighter ends. I showed her some reference photos and she talked me through some recommendations before she got to work. She was super empathetic and checked with me after lightening to confirm the right toner shade and cut to be sure I was comfortable. She was so patient, talented and kind and really eased my salon fears.! The salon has a super cozy vibe and lots of natural light. All of the staff I interacted with were super sweet gals. I went to Couture Salon for my wedding hair styling and makeup last weekend after searching for a salon near where I was getting married in Lake George. I selected them based on their Instagram account, which had some really nice, classy pictures of skillfully executed updos and makeup. I didn't know what I was getting myself into, since no one I knew had been there, so it was a big risk. I have to say I am SO glad I took the chance on them, because it really paid off. I sent Couture some pictures of what I had in mind for my styling via a Pinterest board a week or two before; they were very receptive and friendly about my questions and ideas, responding regularly leading up to the event. When I got there the day of my wedding, everyone was so welcoming. The salon was a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere with huge windows and a very clean, airy feeling. My hair stylist and makeup artist Nicole was just fantastic. Not only was she really funny and down to earth, but she obviously had taken a look at what I wanted ahead of time and consulted with me again once I was in her chair to ensure we were on the same page. We talked non-stop throughout my appointment and it flew by. By the end, I felt like I had a new friend rather than just a skilled professional in my bridal corner. I gave her a big hug. Best of all, I felt absolutely beautiful after she worked her magic on me. When I saw myself in the mirror once I put my wedding dress on, I nearly cried, because I didn't know I could look that good. The hair and makeup were just what I wanted, unique without overpowering the rest of my look. It could not have been any better. If I lived a little bit closer to this salon (I'm over an hour away) I'd be going here regularly for hair cuts and anything else beauty-related. They're amazing, from their customer service/communication to the salon ambiance, to their super talented beauty professionals. The feel and vibe of the building is beautiful and elegant. I easily booked my blow out online and chose Carol. I was greeted by the bubbly and personable Mel at the front desk. I filled out some paperwork and sat in the comfortable waiting area until it was my turn. Carol did a wonderful shampoo and a gorgeous blow out. She took care to ask me lots of questions of how I wanted my hair to look. (Despite the buckets of rain pouring down it still looks terrific!) I discovered Carol did makeup so I asked her to do that as well, (A true treat for me!) She did a beautiful job. Carol shared with me she LOVES to do balayage. Consider her for your color needs - single process and highlights. I own a salon so I love to try new salons wherever I go. This is a 5 star salon for certain. What a beautiful salon and spa! I came here for a bridal hair and make up trial with Sam for makeup and Jacqui for hair. They both did a fabulous job and were able to capture exactly what I was envisioning for my wedding day. As an added bonus Jacqui is a certified devachan stylist for curly hair was able to work with my curls to capture the perfect up do that I was hoping for. The staff was very knowledge and polite. I love this salon !!! Heather is an amazing hair dresser. I have been coming here for the past couple of years and every hair color i wanted heather made it happen. I wanted an ombré and I wasn't sure how it would look. Heather helped me choose the best colors and I fell in love with it !! I have very thick hair and she always thins it every time she cuts it which is a big relief on my head ! If you need a cut / color go see Heather ! I came to this place twice. My first experience was fine my second was not. I responded to an email that asked about my experience and clearly stated why my experience was poor. I would have just not seen the same person again but I never recieved a response. Management that doesnt recognize or respons to critisism runs a business I don't want to support. My massuese was unneccesarily firm for a swedish massage, I went to destress but instead I left in pain instead of feeling relaxed. My neck was sore for 2 days following. The massuese never asked for any feedback and didnt respond to any queues that I was not enjoying the massage. read more

This salon is terrific. Melanie is an amazing colorist and stylist. I gave her full rein and she figured out exactly what I wanted without my having to explain it. My hair looks so natural. It's the best coloring, highlights and cut I've ever gotten. I live in NYC and am going to have to figure out how to get up here more regularly so I don't have to go anywhere else. read more

Excellent facial & pedicure services with my Esthetician, Sam. She was skilled, professional and attentive. Treatment rooms are very comfortable; the facilities are clean & attractive - and I should add safe, as you have to be buzzed in by reception. Ancillary staff were courteous. Prices are reasonable. Seriously love this Salon! Heather has been doing my hair for the past 10+ years and she's awesome! Over the years I've gone from brunette, to blonde, to brunette and everything in between and she's always been able to bring my ideas to life (keeping my hair healthy too!) and has given me great suggestions when I'm looking for something new and fun - including awesome hair extensions! She's also an AMAZING stylist for weddings.. I've been a part of several that she's done and have seen some truly beautiful work (they also have awesome makeup artists there too!) I went to couture salon spa-tique for my niece's wedding. Carol spent lots of time blowing out my hair to perfection. I actually think it looked better than my own hairdresser at home in San Diego. I would highly recommend this salon. Everyone was extremely friendly and I even found some great lengthening mascara, a new lipstick and a hair brush. read more

The atmosphere here is really unlike anything else in our area. It's super clean and super beautiful. Nicole cut my hair and she always does an amazing job; she is seriously the best hair stylist I've ever been to. I would highly recommend her.
