My main issue was a drooping left eyelid that was affecting my vision. I chose to have some extra work done as well. I was very pleased at first and Dr. Villanustre said it should last approximately 10 years. However, less than a year later my left eye started to droop again again and 18 months later it's drooping almost as much as before. I went in a few months ago and was advised they would be happy to revise it - if I was willing to pay for the procedure again. If and when I pay for the revision - it will not be with Dr. Villanustre. read more

Dr Nicolas Villanustre ruined the rest of my life by temoving fat unnecessarily from my eye sockets, creating a horrible sunken look. I look awful & he had absolutely no compassion. While I was in distress, he asked me if I had read the papers I signed. He is heartless! These fat pads cannot be replaced. I am damaged for life!!! To add insult to injury, I paid $4,300 out of pocket!! How these "doctors" get away with these crimes is disgraceful!!! read more

The first time I got fillers was good. The second time I got a bump on one side, I shared with the doctor and he denied putting a filler on that spot! That was such a red flag! Then he recommended bbl, I did it they said it's safe, but my skin broke out horribly. So I start taking accutane to fix my skin after the bbl. The fillers are supposed to stay for 1 year, but after 5 months the result start going away visibly, so today I went to the doctor and he said I can redo it, but I need to pay for it! I told him that doesn't feel right to me I dont feel like paying 2 times for the same thing that was supposed to last for 1 year, but he didn't seem to care... I said I will rather go to someone else and he was ok with that! I dont even want to think if I did a surgery, the doctor avoided responsibility for his work! Stay safe ladies! went in for consultation. Found the doctor to be horribly arrogant and ridiculously rude. Thought I was asking normal questions about a possible future surgery. It was a medical situation so I had some concerns. What was a very uncomfortable situation turned into a much more uncomfortable situation as I got the distinct impression that because of my age he had no concern for the inevitable result of my surgery. He kept referring to the fact that at my age I couldn't expect much. My aim was to get through my medical situation and still have an acceptable result. Just found him to be totally unconcerned about my feelings.. Or my concerns. Didn't want to listen just wanted to tell me what I couldnt expect? which made me very nervous about him. if he would say that I could expect so little what kind of a job would he do? The funny thing is I've sent about 15 family members and friends to him for procedures. I have let them all know about my very rude and uncomfortable meeting with him. And to tell you the truth some of them were not at all happy with their procedures. they felt that their concerns had not been met. i'm sorry but when you're paying the kind of money that you pay for these procedures you would like to think that the best result possible woils be the aim..To him it's more about what he thinks not always addressing the patients concerns.. I found a very kind surgeon who was willing to listen to my concerns and seriously take my well-being to heart. and I felt so confident in him. Don't let this doctor's fancy office and nice smile fool you!! Last October 2017 I paid a fortune to have my old breast implants removed and new ones put in, I also paid for a breast lift and to have my areolas made smaller. After a few months I could already tell my breasts were still as saggy as they were before the surgery it didn't even look like I had a lift! He also left part of my old darker skin from my big areolas under my new small ones!! It looks like there is brown skin from old areolas under my new areoles!! So I mentioned it all at a follow up and and he didn't seem to care and brushed it off! He told me I looked great! He clearly loves his own work and doesn't seem to care about what the patient has to say! So I let a few more months go by and I decided to get opinions from my friends and family by showing them my breasts and they all couldn't believe what they saw when I showed them! So a friend encouraged me to make another appointment with Dr. Villanustre so I did and she even went with me, and there once again he told me I looked fine but that he could do a few things to fix my issues but that I had to wait about a year for him to operate again I say ok and I left feeling discouraged. In the meantime I went to see another Dr who saw how terrible I look and told me this was a simple fix that he was highly confident he could fix and I would be happy with the result but that it would cost $3,500 to correct it! I decided to ask Dr. Villanustre to credit me back the $3,500 I would have to pay to have the other doctor fix my issue, So I contacted Dr Villanustre's office manager Lori Jessen who was very unfriendly and never called when she said she would, after she said she would look into this issue. I then made one last ditch effort and sent the doctor an email that went completely ignored! Which was a sign that he was just running away from his problems and was unwilling to to make things right. I'm blown away by the way I was treated like I was just some number shuffled in and out and completely shut out when I voiced that I wasn't happy with his work! I WILL MAKE IT A POINT TO TELL EVERYONE ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE AT REFLECTIONS WITH DR. VILLANUSTRE!! I feel so bad about how I look that I don't even take my shirt off when i'm intimate with my fiancee and I paid this man a fortune to look good!! I look worse than I did before my surgery!! *Outstanding Upper Blepharoplasty Eyelid Surgery Performed by Dr. Villanustre at Reflections in Tarpon Springs- I've always had hooded eyes, and didn't mind them too much-But as I aged ( 63)the skin above my eyes had gotten thinner and saggier. My lids had become so heavy that they were sitting on my eyelashes. I also felt like I looked tired and angry most of the time, even with a full nights sleep. So I began to research -Reading every review I could find and asking experienced professionals (spa where I get my injectable's) and found that there was a plastic surgeon nearby who was an expert in this type of surgery. I wanted to look refreshed, but not look like I "had work done". I met with Dr. Villanustre at Reflections* St. Luke's in Tarpon Springs and found him to be honest ( forthright with options) patient with my questions and listened to what I wanted. I decided to have the surgery at Reflections- During the upper eyelid procedure, I was comfortable and comforted by his assistant-nurses*and with the local numbing shots I literally did not feel a thing. I was relaxed enough to respond to the Dr. through the surgery and Once the surgery was complete, I was given full instructions for aftercare-There was oncall staff ( Thanksgiving weekend too)if I had concerns. I was red and slightly swollen and a had a small amount of pain for a day but Tylenol and the Rx eye cream helped a lot. It has been one week since surgery and had my follow up visit- My eyes look fantastic and am so appreciative of Dr. Villanustre and his staff who have made me so happy with my eyes. read more

I would have given this establishment zero stars but that is not an option. When I went to St.Luke's I ended up with a wrong prescription and no notice that I wouldn't be capable of driving after the eye examination. On top of that, I was given a speech about how I should have known that my worsening vision problems were not caused by my cataract , but by my near and far sightedness. Obviously, I went to a (what I thought was a professional) doctor for a diagnosis for a reason. I, as a patient, shouldn't be required to go there knowing what is wrong with me. After that disappointing experience, I took my daughter to the St. Luke's in Holiday (FL) for a mole check. A mole on her arm caused concern and the doctor decided to send it in for a cancer check. That mole was only 4mm big (which is tiny) - and the clinic decided to only take out the center part of it. Now my daughter is left with a tiny donut looking mole on her arm because apparently cutting out the ginormous 4mm mole on her arm was too big of a task. Obviously, I am deeply disappointed by this place. I thought that this was a professional establishment but was proven otherwise. read more

I had the IPO light done not once but twice to remove the broken veins from my face. The girl did not tell me that I could pay to have sections of my face done until I asked as they are the MOST expensive place to have this simple procedure done.... (Most places charge 100.00 to 165.00 for the full face with a return visit) They charge more than $300.00 for ONE VISIT!!! Needless to say, I paid $400.00 and my face is worse than when I went there. Then they tell me the girl who did the IPO light is no longer there, which I later found out was a lie... Then the young snotty surgeon comes in and tells me I should never have had the IPO light in the first place, that I should have waited one to two years for my face to heal from the prior work I had done. They ALL knew about what work I had done prior to me having the IPO light done from the conversations I had with them. Then they wanted to charge me $75.00 to have the doctor look at me, which I also was told would be waived because I had just paid $400.00 to have the IPO done twice. When I got there, the girl said Oh sorry, we misunderstood, you need to pay $75.00 for Dr.V to look at you. He was rude and cocky and when I asked him WHY the IPO LIGHT was done not once but twice to my face when he just said I should not have had it done for at least one to two years, his reply was very flippant and he said well that was her call. Meaning the girl who did it. Not my call he said. I then said well is this not your practice? Shouldn't your people be better trained and qualified and why didn't she tell you my history and ask you? He abruptly stood up and said to the girl in the room, take pictures of her face and he walked out of the room. I left there shaking. I will NEVER GO back there again and strongly suggest that everyone find a better spa/salon to spend their money.
