Went on Groupon looking for a Iconic Foot Detox & Reflections Body Spa & Tanning had a good deal. I checked out their Yelp page & overall the reviews were good so I decided to give them a try. Making an appointment was super easy and I was able to get in the day and time that I wanted. It is located in a busy shopping plaza but there was plenty of parking available. When I got there I was greeted by Kayla who showed me around and explained the process to me. This wasn't my first time getting a detox as I usually do them a couple times a year but this is the first time since moving to AZ. They offer other services such as tanning, facials, waxing etc. I appreciate that they didn't try to force buying any products or services on you. The process was painless and took only 30 minutes. I will be back for more foot detox's and to try some of their other services. read more

I really like coming to this spa for tanning. They offer additional treatments that you can do to help restore your skin while tanning and it is included in the monthly membership. I love to hydrate in red fusion before tanning. Overall the team is friendly but Danika is my favorite. She asks questions to get to know how to help you achieve your goals. Thanks for always being so informative and attentive to my needs. The only critical feedback I would give is more education to the team on how to sell the packages. I started coming here to tan and quickly found out they offered so much more. Slim pod, sauna, teeth whitening, hydromassage, (one of my favorites) oxygen therapy,mystic spray tan,luminois facial,etc... The list goes on and on. Today I tried what is called the Ceragem. Its a bed you lie down on stretches your vertebra and massages the muscles around the spine. Amazing!!! Jessica is very knowledgeable and can answer any and all of your questions. I have had a membership to this location for over two years and have been in about 5 times because I didn't like the atmosphere & energy when I went. I just found out that this location has new owners and went in this evening...what a change. Taylor was so helpful, gave me a tour (first one in two years) and answered all my questions. The new membership packages they have are great! The place was clean and has new equipment...no more shock from the cold mystic tan...it has a heater! I never write bad reviews.. but here goes. I'm going to Hawaii so I bought a month of tanning here on Groupon. The package is simply the "platinum level beds for $22". The first time I went in was fine, I just gave them my name and my Groupon and she put me in a bed (didn't check my ID however, which I thought was a law but maybe not). I tanned it was great. Second time, I came in and was ignored for a while. There were three employees behind the desk and they all kind of awkwardly ignored me. One was on her personal iPhone. Then the girl said hello and, without asking for my name, said I could go to the one available bed, which was a standup. I said "do you need my information so you can put me in or anything?" She typed some stuff and told me to go to the last bed. I tanned. On my way out, I was stopped. Another employee who had ignored me before wanted to let me know that I was not allowed to use a standup bed because my groupon was only for "platinum level" (like I knew what that meant) I apologized and said I'm sorry that's where she told me to go. Which she replied rudely, "I'll let it go this time, but next time it's a $5 charge". If it weren't for that employee, I would have left a four or five star review here. Just upset me that their blatant lack of concern was reason for me to feel like I did something wrong. Will finish my Groupon month of tanning and will never come back here! read more

It's nothing like our spas in Los Angeles, where you have full "spa" facilities with pools, jacuzzis, salt rock rooms, steam saunas, etc... BUT, it'll do for the 5 for $19 deal. The services included in the deal are limited from their full menu, but it's enough variety to give you some good options. It's a very small place with private rooms only, each with a particular service (i.e. tanning bed, zero gravity massage chair, infrared steam thingy...). It's all very private, clean & moderately decorated. I must say, their staff is awesome! The 2 young ladies who helped us (so sorry, I can't remember their names... I think Ashley was 1?) were SO friendly & accommodating & walked us through each room/service with great patience while we decided what we wanted to do. Again, if you can snag the Groupon while it's available, then this place is a MUST! It's a little bit of a ways from Phoenix (45min-1hr), but if you just plan to make a day of it, it's worth it. read more

Found this spa through a family referral and finally went and had a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. It was well kept, clean, and welcoming. I tried planet beach once before the new owners and hated it. My friend started working there and told us to try it out, needless to say.. It is 10x better! I love going there, the staff is absolutely awesome! Its really nice to walk in and they know you by your first name. Ive only been a member for 4 months. Yeah everything is peachy until you try to cancel your membership. I filled out a cancellation form in person as required and was told that they would waive the $50 penalty for early cancellation because it was for medical reasons. The owner will not honor the cancellation (which I have in writing) because the employee was not authorized to waive the fee. That is her personnel issue and not my problem. I will be filing a complaint with corporate. read more

I am a member of Planet Beach, Anthem. I am embarking on new facials to be given by Jessica, just a remarkable talented woman. A dermatologist had removed a small bump on my face and that area never seemed to quite clear up. I worked at it constantly for two years. Jessica recommended the new Allure Cleanse, a device that would deep clean my face. I've used a Clarisonic for years. Well, one time cleaning my face with this new Allure Cleanse practically cleared that area and the rest of my skin was smoother! It's amazing. Over the next week and a half, whatever was left was gone. I can't wait to start the new facials and have replaced the Clarisonic with the Allure. Totally thrilled and plan on giving the Allure to my sister. read more

I had read the reviews prior to trying this establishment and there were a lot of negative comments. It's walking distance from my home (which is important) so I popped in to check it out. The employees were wonderful and the owner was in and very friendly. They advised it was under new ownership and they had changed some things. So I purchased 5 visits to try it out prior to signing a contract. They prefer you have an appointment, but every time I called, I was able to get in within 15 minutes. They do require a 24 month contract, but you can cancel after 5 consecutive months with a 30 day notice and $50 fee. But you can freeze that account several times in that 24 month period as well. And it is all in the contract, not just their word. The prices are good for the services and customer service provided. And they give you 3 free visits to try out. I only ended up purchasing the tanning package, however if I decide to use a spa service, the prices are resonable. And an upgrade isn't much more and seems worth it. This name does not do Planet Beach justice. They should rename this Planet Health!! This place has made such a difference in my life. I've been so ill from Fibromyalgia but after coming here, I feel sooo much better! I do the hydro-massage while getting anti aging light therapy on my face. Then I do a machine that shakes you and drains your lymph glands while it burns a lot of calories. Then I do the massage chair while I get another therapy on my face for eczema. Then I do oxygen therapy while I get massaged with electrical current stimulating my metabolism while it does acupressure on my feet. Then I end my session with the most amazing infrared sauna!! I feel like a million bucks after that. It doesn't leave you sticky and smelly. It is wonderful!! It detoxifies you while healing you from the inside out!! After about 8 saunas, my pain, brain fog, and fatigue are all reduced!! This infrared is so healing for sooo many conditions!! After a few days my muscles crave that sauna!!i I stopped a couple supplements that weren't doing a thing and got an unlimited membership for only $59 a month. This is the best money I've ever spent!! As they say, If you don't invest in your health, you will pay for your illness!! The place is so clean and girls are so nice and helpful!!
