I had a really great experience here today. Mack was attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about what I wanted for my nails. I chose not to get polish, and at some places that can feel a little awkward -- almost like you're being judged because it's a smaller service. I didn't feel that here at all. I had a baby shower coming up and wanted to make sure my toes looked okay to be in open toed shoes for the first time out of winter. I saw Diamond Nails had opened recently close to my house and called to make an appointment for a pedicure. Getting an appointment was really easy and they sent text reminders over the course of the week. When I arrived, they brought my mother in law and I back right away after picking a color. It seems like their big emphasis is on gel so there wasn't as many non gel options that we would've liked but were able to find something that worked. The salon is very bright, clean, spacious, and well decorated. It's nice to have a salon closer that has a more upscale feel to it. The massage pedicure chairs are the best kind because they have the combo massage, vibration and warmth. My shoulders were so thankful after hanging up balloon arches and such. The pedicure tub was clean and had the liners in it. I went with the basic spa pedicure ($33, $15 for gel) and it was a nice length of time of soaking, massage, and painting. They even brought over little portable fans to point at the toes to dry them faster. Our techs were nice and didn't rush us out when we were done. I was looking at some of the other people getting their pedicures and they went with the fancy packages that come with mocktails and a very elaborate relaxation set up. I'm a regular customer i've been coming here since they've opened. My normal tech is out of town so I had to see someone else and I was very disappointed with the result. Many of nails were broke within 3 days so i went in when I got some extra time and the guy at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. He didn't offer a resolution to the situation. They have only been open a few months and already raising prices. Menu prices don't match. Mine said $43 and hubs said $45. Asking me to pay a 3% credit card fee is absurd. That fee is deductible on your tax return. Maybe you don't file taxes???Requesting to be paid in cash is a sign of gross misconduct and offering a discount for paying in cash is an insult. The ATM inside the salon is another clear sign of tax evasion. read more

Had a manicure, dip powder with Grace who was very friendly and good. I have wanted to try this place for a while and I'm glad I did. I made an appointment a week previous waited 40 minutes had to leave because they weren't even close to getting me seated. What's the point of the appointment then?
