Take advantage of the amenities and make a day of it. We stayed there for 6 hours and really felt we got our moneys worth. It's a great place to unplug and relax. Bring a book, order a glass of wine and relax on a lounger. Everything about the spa is elegant and refined. There are waitstaff there to take care of all of your needs and there is a cafe upstairs that has fine food if you're there long enough. I cannot recommend this place enough. So based on former views found here on Yelp, I thought I'd try out MT Nails. I made an appointment, and when I arrived they really weren't busy. I found the salon to be messy, dusty and cluttered, as well as the floor looking quite dirty even behind the work area. This was only my 1st impression after sitting down. I had to ask the nail tech her name, which she provided, but feel she should have introduced herself. She continued to chat with the other tech in Vietnamese--without any interaction with me-- her customer. Which was OK, but rather rude and unfriendly! When she started my gel manicure, she really chopped my cuticles severely, which wasn't necessary. The polish was also a bit thick and there was a bit of fuzz that would stick to the polish on my nails. She would pull it off and continue. During the polish application, she also touched my nails and had polish on her finger as well as a drip falling when she was applying it. My nails ended up looking very unprofessional. As you can see the polish edges are uneven and on my cuticle area. It was a very sloppy job with uneven surfaces which is more difficult to see in the pic. I was hoping to make this salon my go-to in this area but I'll need to look further. I did leave her a tip but not sure why I did--Probably out of habit.

After my technician completed my nails, I had mentioned to another technician that I'd rather just have the dip powder taken off because it looked terrible. The top coat dried so that the nail didn't appear shiny or even smooth! The technician was told by the owner to put an Orly gel top coat on top. The gel coat wasn't sealed on all of the nails and was still tacky. Lint embedded into some of the nails after a while. Not even 4 hours later, it began peeling off. Such a waste of money and not at all how dip manicures are done. Why offer them?! Now I have to go elsewhere to get this taken off and pay for it. Would have been better off to heed the previous review.

I guess I didn't realize that they had to turn it "on" and then they do, it's this loud machine that runs. Overall, shockingly poor experience. I expected much more from what I thought would be a high-end spa. We spent the entire day here and booked both the salt room and a couples massage. The spa claims that "Aspira Spa is a favorite spot for those seeking a peaceful escape and true relaxation," offering "tranquil spaces like a salt room, whirlpools, and a Meditation Sanctuary designed for deep relaxation," but that was not our experience. In their pre-visit email, they ask guests to "please respect the peaceful atmosphere of the spa with quiet conversation." Unfortunately, this expectation is not enforced. The environment was consistently loud. While I understand that guest behavior can be difficult to control, it starts with the staff setting the tone. I wish there had been more effort to establish and maintain a respectful, quiet atmosphere. The staff were kind, but they contributed to the noise level. Voice levels user during tours were loud and disruptive. While the tour itself was helpful, there are more considerate ways to conduct them without disturbing those trying to relax. I had previously read a review from Debbie G stating that the spa was going downhill, and I wish I had listened to it before booking. We will not be returning.
