Been here twice now, both experiences with the doctors were great, reception/nurse not so much. On my first visit, for my wrist injury, they took my blood pressure. Well, I had been anxious about it and so of course it was high, so was my heart rate. They wanted to hold me, even though I explained a number of times about how I get anxiety in certain situations and that's why it was high. After that I saw the doctor. The doctor was pretty nice, she basically told me that there was nothing she could do other than give me pills, as that's all she learned in medical school. But as someone who doesn't take anything, I said thanks and was about to leave until she asked about my bp and I explained it to her, she understood. My second experience was with my gf a few days ago when she couldn't hear out of one ear. The reception was fine and I don't think they took her bp. The doctor saw and greeted her in a really friendly manner, he was really nice. He made a bunch of jokes. He figured out the problem and it was something the previous walk in clinic doctor was too lazy to fix (not at this clinic). So he fixed her up and we were out of there in under an hour. So I would give them 5 stars, but I'm still annoyed with the nurses/reception from then. read more

Worst Doctor and staff in town. Rude, unprofessional, disorganized, Is not bad, is very bad!. on a side note, the pharmacist are very good.

I have booked appointments with mississauga location twice. Very bad experience. After having confirmed appointments both time doctor did not showed up on time. For them One- hour wait or more is acceptable. Receptionist never gives exact timings. I had serious medical condition. So I showed up before time, still I had to wait for one hour after requesting 5 times to see the doctor. There is only one Doctor and they are booking too many patients. Doctor doesn't have much experience and have a degree from foreign country. Looks like a scam to overcharge the Ontario government. read more

Strike 1: I love my doctor here but I'm tired of sitting around and waiting every time that I come by. I am currently waiting to see the results of my blood test and have been here for over 45 minutes. They took my blood pressure and heart rate then told me to wait in the waiting room. I think that I'll be finding a new doctor soon if this keeps happening. Strike 2: Just left the doctors office because a student Doctor asked me if I wanted a prescription refilled. I said "yes" and he said that he will send my prescription to the pharmacy. The student Doctor then left without saying anything and I sat there for 15 minutes so I thought that the appointment was over. After I got to the pharmacy my regular Doctor ran over and started yelling at me because 'I told the student Doctor to refill my prescription' and that 'I left the the room' If there's a third strike, I'm leaving this clinic. read more

My family went to see Dr. Akinsete today and was severely frustrated with how unprofessional he was. As soon as we came in, he was irritated and angry. He rolled his eyes at me when I listed my symptoms and when we mentioned our medical history, he sarcastically asked, "are you the doctor or the patient? I can't be the doctor to someone who thinks they know everything!" He yelled at me and disrespected me. He should not be screaming at patients especially at patients who are asking for help. The receptionist was very kind and helpful but I will never return to a doctor's office who screams at patients for just listing their symptoms and asking for help! I have always had kind doctors and have never been treated by a doctor like this! Warning don't bring children to this doctor! He is inappropriate and disrespectful! read more

I came in at the walk in clinic on a Thursday morning for the purpose of refilling my prescription. i didn't need to do a check up nor planning on switching to their medical centre. However, they still insist that I answer 6 page questionnaire. STRIKE 1. No one was in the waiting room with me, so I figured it would be quick. NOPE. After 40 mins in the waiting room, they finally took my my vitals, weight etc and made me wait in another room. STRIKE 2. After waiting another 30 mins inside the 2nd room, i finally got fed up and left, only to be stopped by the doctor finally willing to see me. She apologized and made small talk -- fine... but when i asked for a year's worth of prescription, she told me she could only provide me a month worth, maximum 2 months, unless i register them as my family doctor. Is she for real? Cause i know for fact that walk in clinics, are able to give you at least 3 months worth no questions asked. so that's STRIKE 3. If i knew it was going to take that long, I would've just seen my family doctor. Needless to say I wont be going back to that walk in clinic. read more

Reflex Medical Centre looked like an upscale facility with friendly staff. It is really fancy. I saw the doctor, had my prescription faxed and filled at the pharmacy while I was having my blood work completed all in the same place. The whole experience took 20 minutes. I wonder about those days when I used to go to a pharmacy, then go to the lab after seeing the doctor and try to find a parking spot in this horrid weather. My lab results were communicated to my brand new family dr electronically in 1 day. For the longest time, I was unable to find a family doctor accepting new patients. I really like that the staff know me by name and treat me as a valued individual vs being a number in a big medical facility or chain pharmacies. Plus the quick service and one stop shop save me lots of time especially in this cold winter. They can improve though on communicating their offering instead of hiding it like a gem. I highly recommend Reflex Medical. I will be going there again and maybe book an appointment with the registered massage therapist on site. read more

I went in to see a doctor for right my shoulder which flared up at work about a week ago. I work as a forklift operator and I have had a surgical scope on the same shoulder 5 years ago. I found the doctor to be very thorough and professional with good bed side manner which is rare these days. When I was finished with the doctor I was able to see the pharmacist to get some medication to lower my inflammation and I was able to start some physiotherapy as well! To have this all in one location and not have to drive around is great, especially in the winter. I look forward to continuing my therapy and improving my shoulder. I would recommend this to anyone as a one stop health clinic especially those who don't have time to drive around everywhere read more

Worst Medical center ever. Staff and service is bad. Extremely rude. They said they have sent referral to doctor but do nothing about it. Salima (The manager herself is very rude) and irresponsible. I waited for 6 -7 weeks and followed up several times they could not even send not to specialist. How can they be family doctors? Worst clinic. If you even want to cure your health problems please do not go this clinic. They will just waste your time and do nothing about it. read more

I've never been treated so badly. After waiting for over an hour, Dr Zando finally saw me only to rush through my appointment and tell me people who don't want to take medication shouldn't go see doctors. After I said I don't believe you need medication for everything, her response was "Yes, you're right, you don't always need medication, or you can always die". This walk in clinic is so poorly run, the wait times are ridiculous, and the whole stuff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. read more

My first visit 2 years ago was for walk-in service - at the time, I was promptly attended to and found the attending Doctor to be wonderful. After a few visits, I have made Dr Zando my Doctor as she is smart, careful and considerate to my needs and plan for better health and well being. To boot, not only is it very convenient to have a pharmacy in the same building, the Pharmacist is amazing - very thoughtful and careful to discuss all things to do with meds prescribed. This facility offers many services including physiotherapy which both my husband and I have used. The physio staff is just fantastic. Overall, great facility, wonderful Doctors and Specialists. Later visits proved a bit of wait time, but I think is standard case at most Dr offices. This one is worth the wait - recommend highly! read more

Having moved to Mississauga, I needed to find a female GP. I saw Doctor Zando a couple of times...the experience was mediocre. She tends to rush the appointment, not listen very well and speak over the patient. Staff is abrupt and disorganized but I recognize that this is what Ontarians deal with in today's medical system so I was willing to continue to see her. Today I decided however to never go back to her again. I was experiencing abdominal pain due to an infection, which she prescribed antibiotics for two days earlier. I told her about my symptoms that day and said that I was missing work because of my illness. I had to see her today about continuing pain and a related medical issue. My employer requires a form to be completed if I miss more than three days of work. She refused to complete it at first, saying there was no medical reason why I could not attend work because it was not like I was having a "heart attack or something". In my line of work it is more work for me to miss a day so I only miss days when I absolutely need to. She did not listen to my symptoms and despite having prescribed medication to me two days before, she did not seem to take my situation very seriously. She then proceeded to fill out the form and write that there was no reason for me not to be at work and charge me $35. I didn't realize that she wrote this until I paid the $35. I will never go back to this woman. She shouldn't be practicing. I am seriously contemplating a complaint to the College of Physicians and Surgeons as the quality of care being delivered is seriously questionable. read more
