The only bad element of my experience was actually the bus ride home after the appointment (bus never showed up). The reception area is pleasant and there is tea, coffee and water available. I was taken back for the procedure and the room was comfortable, the chair had a lovely plush blanket on it which was super comfy and the lighting was adjusted for me so I would be comfortable. Also, before she began working, she explained the whole procedure to me, showed me the tools she would use and indicated where I might feel discomfort. Everything was clean and the whole thing was very professional. I actually enjoyed myself and several days later my neck still feels very smooth (not so much my face but I went in with a lot of issues there so I'm not surprised and supposedly you are supposed to do microdermabrasion in a series of appointments to get the best results anyways). I went in for age spots under my eyes and wanted RF needling done. I didn't even think of getting laser because I thought that area would be a no no. Coral suggested Picosure laser on top of RF needling if I wanted. For my first session we did strictly RF needling and she went over my entire face taking out things I couldn't even see. She has these incredible specs with a light attached and she really gets right in there. RF needling isn't a walk in the park but she is constantly making sure I'm feeling alright. Two weeks later was my follow up and I wanted to really get those pesky age spots. I gave her the okay to touch up with the RF needle again and then go forward with Picosure. Picosure can be a bit intense but nothing horrendous or anything. A frozen stone is rolled onto the area to be treated so comfort is of utmost importance! I looked a bit hideous after the treatments but Coral made sure I was well covered up with some mineral makeup. You see, I'm Italian and I don't want to lose my "look". I just wanted a smaller, more refined version of what I was born with. After tons of research, reading lots of reviews and seeing many before/after's on Instagram, I decided to put my trust in Dr. Zakhary. I am beyond thankful I did!!! She made me feel totally seen, heard and understood. She knew exactly what I was looking for and explained the process and what to expect, SO well! I even got a 20-page aftercare booklet that not only had what to expect and a vitamin schedule for before & after surgery, it also had about 2 pages of frequently asked questions that I found soo helpful. Even with ALL that, Dr. Zakhary was only a text away if I had any questions! What I also loved about Dr. Zakhary's approach is how in depth she is with the healing process. She will make you keep a nose cast for 2 weeks whereas some other surgeons only do 1 week. Let me tell you...ITS WORTH IT AND ITS FOR A REASON!!! After 1 week, I had some tape come off the tip of my nose. Dr Z got me to come in that night and took everything off, and re-applied the cast. I looked in the mirror and just about fainted. Fast forward to today (my 2 week follow up) we removed my cast and yeah, I'm a bit swollen but NOTHING I mean NOTHING like at 1 week. Just proves that keeping it on that 1 more week, makes the world of a difference.
