They certainly don't return calls within a timely manner nor do they keep promises as when you may request for invoices for repairs or a new service. I want to know what you are charging me for. We were given a quote and agreed to move forward with the installation, but when the installers arrived on installation day, we were told the job would cost $6,000 more than the agreed-upon price. At that point, we canceled the installation. Unfortunately, before the job was even finalized, the installers had already prematurely cut our existing carpet. They then left before we had an opportunity to fully realize what had happened or discuss the damage. I didn't end up using Refloor because they didn't have the color of flooring that I wanted. The rep who came out to my house spent 2 hours and 10 minutes. I am still in shock that it took so long. ~1st solution was they would do a reinstall of the floors, retract their warranty, and at my cost install new baseboards. ~2nd solution was to still honor their lifetime install warranty. Both of these options are a joke! I have been dealing with the company over the course of a few years now. This is around my 9th service call and around the 4th team that has been out to service my floors because they have not gotten a single thing correct. I could have done my floors better than this company. I am shattered over the state of my home currently. I have spent so much time going back over their work only to be left with a disaster today. They completely ruined my original hardwood floors as pictured without my consent. They are fighting me over replacing stairs that were supposed to be redone every service call. Pictured is all of the damage caused to my home today which included ripped cabinets, cracked baseboards, reinstalled damaged shoe moldings, left silicone everywhere, ripped walls, and didn't properly install multiple "fixed" areas. I asked the team to dispose of damaged planks that were left behind from a previous service call and they literally put them with the new boxes in my basement for when they come back to hopefully do the stairs, which are cut like a 2 year old did them finished off with some silicone by the way. The "helper" with the worker today spent more time smoking cigarettes in my driveway and leaving the butts than doing anything else. He also smelled like stale weed which smelt up the entire house. BEWARE! This is a dishonest company! I am disabled and got a grant from the city to replace my kitchen floor. A Refloor rep sat in my living room and called his boss to make sure they could work with the city. The boss lady on the phone said they've done this sort of thing before. Refloor normally requires half-down up-front but they said the job is funded by the city so no worries. While I wait for their rep to meet with the City Hall rep, one week, two weeks, three... Not a very good experience. Refloor Rep came out to give an estimate for a new basement floor. It was more than what we wanted to pay but felt very confidant in what the rep said and were very impressed with his knowledge. A week later the installer came out (GS Flooring). The installer (who we fid not understand) said we needed to have our basement checked for asbestos and it would take 2-3 days. Over three weeks later still no results. After many texts and calls finally heard that we had 5% asbestos bug if we didn't disturb the tile we were good to go. I had to call Refloor to let them know the results. They then sent another inspector out who said no problem. Rescheduled the installation. Two weeks later the same installer came out and kept going upstairs to make phone calls. He then reported that he could not install due to Moistures???? I fired him and told him I needed to speak to someone I could understand. GS rep (very rude) called and said there was moisture and would call back to reschedule. I told her NO we're done. I called (texted) to tell them I wanted my full refund. I sent a certified letter cancelling and requesting a full refund. I was told I would hear back within 48 hours. Over 4 days letter I sent a text with ??? And finally heard from a man who asked what the problem was. I asked if he got my letter? He said yes so I told him to read it and that was what the problem was. He told me he had to checks with a different department and would get back to me. I said when? He said within the hour. Believe it or not he called me back with a positive response. I would get a full refund. Ironically I received a call about an hour later from a rep from Refloor asking if I was still interested in getting a new floor for my basement. I said are you kidding me? I guess their offices don't communicate very well. If I could I would give a minus five stars. Do not go with this company. I went through an absolute nightmare with them. Google reviews were amazing, of course, so I didn't look further, should have came here. The original salesman didn't evaluate the floor correctly, installers came and a different floor had to be ordered. They quoted an additional $800, but gave me a "deal" of $400. Another sales guy came out so I could pick a new floor. Took three weeks for them to come back out and I had to call them. Second crew came out, another nightmare, he suggested the first floor be put back in until I pointed out why we went with the second floor. The installers were here 2 days. At the end of the second day, after they left, I found a nightmare. I'll enclose pictures of the mess they left me with. Then they had to come out again and spent another whole day at my house ripping up the whole bathroom floor and fixing the nightmare they left me with. In the end, I finally ended up with a nice looking floor, but it was a two month process and endless hours of inconvenience stress. This is just small tidbits of everything that occurred. A small tidbit of information, read your contract, if the service team has to be rescheduled they have to compensate you with $100 for each occurrence. They will not offer you this, it has to be requested. So in the end I did get $200 back. Also, they require you pay for the whole job before they even get started on the day of installation. I paid cash! After the nightmare we went through I had requested compensation. Corporates exact words were, we're not in the business of giving money back. Refloor is one of those high pressure business that takes hours but to do an estimate as the sales person goes through every trick in the car sales person book, including calling back to the "Home office" to "try to get you a better deal. They have only been in business 6 years, so I am not sure what the "lifetime" warranty is worth. Since they are private label, you don't know who makes their materials. Sort of creepy that no one provides a full name, and their first price is up to twice others. They provide a quote that is thousands high then go through the motions of reducing the price. If you like haggling, you will like their approach and you can get the cost down to the first quote of other businesses. They do get out to provide a quote quickly and conveniently. So if you have straightforward job and are not price sensitive or you like to haggle, they might be the business for you. read more

They warned me about potential additional costs after ripping out my carpeting and replacing it with their new flooring. ... such as asbestos, rotted wood, realigning doors. I made the mistake of partially completing an online request for a quote. I never hit submit and somehow it was enough information for them to start calling. I finally took the call because they were offering "free" installation. Holden the sales rep came into my home and I couldn't get rid of him. I felt like I was trapped in a time share sales pitch, except rather than a tropical destination i was trapped in my own home! After 1 1/2 hours I kindly asked him to leave. He asked kept talking and I asked him multiple times to leave. I didn't want to waste his time or any more of mine. He asked if he could make a 46 second call to his boss? Installation nightmare. Gaps everywhere. Scratches everywhere. Floor receptacle not replaced, so there's a hole in the floor. Stove not working. They tried to force it back in and damaged the plug. Thanks for all the reviews. I'm glad I come here before hiring any company. Kind of like I expected after speaking with the sales rep today. She didn't know the thickness of the planks but was quick to call her superior. Unfortunately, he didn't know either and tried to tell me that the thickness wasn't important if the material was the right stuff. They wouldn't provide me with a hard (email/paper) estimate. Thought that was odd. The rep wrote the amount down on the financing paperwork. Her supervisor told me that since I was paying with cash, that I could put a couple hundred down today to hold the order until I was ready to install (awaiting on kitchen cabinets). Then half when I set the date and the other half on the job START date. I'd never consider 100% payment until the job is complete. Not saying they're bad company. They were out to my house three different times and couldn't get it right and they really screwed up my molding. They put the quarter round molding right over the threshold that goes from the kitchen to the living room and nailed it down right onto my hardwood floor in the living room. They also put big long indentations in 3 places on my floor. The service manager said that the repair was in intolerance and expectation. So I asked him if it would be acceptable in his home and he said yes it would be..... seems to be a big fat lie to me because if anyone put that in their home there's something wrong with them! Refloor sales person was in my home recently. He was here for more than 3 hours taking pictures and measurements. It was extremely annoying. They do not carry name-brand flooring either. I do not know what it is. Their color and material options were extremely limited. We finally got an estimate that was close to $30,000 for a home that is only 1620 sf. Then the rep called his boss. The 'boss' tried to appeal to my ego by asking me if they could use before and after photos of my beautiful home on their website. If so, I can have a reduced price of almost $27,000. My home is not Better Homes and Gardens material. It is a nice prefab. All the way around, it sounds like a bad idea to go with Refloor to me. I say run and find someone more legit and less scammy. I have seen people post similar experiences. They are based in MI and have extremely scary reviews there. read more

Xander Was an outstanding salesman, explained the process and everything the company has to offer in depth explained the plan , the install team was wonderful to work with however the Cooperate side of this company is awful and completely lacks communication from giving me inaccurate times for arrival, to having the install crew show up at the wrong location. The supervisor over the crew wasn't answering his phone when the install crew called on day 2 took over an hour to get a call before they ever started work, wasn't given notice of when they'd Be done for the day or arrival on day two was just woke up to someone knocking on my door. Overall this has been the worst company to deal with for your floors and I will not recommend them to anyone the floors look great but Refloor is an awful company that needs to work on transparency and communication. read more

If there were a negative 5 rating that is what I would choose. I scheduled an appointment with Refloor after receiving endless postcards in the mail. Jordan was 15 minutes late. He went on and on, I wanted to know the cost. His presentation ran into my next appointment for windows. After wasting an hour and a half of my life listening to him, he did not give me a quote! I have never experienced this. I specifically asked him pricing as to not waste each others time he gave me range of $800-$4,000. They have Economy pkg, Standard & Premium. I asked for economy price, he couldn't give me that quote - no samples. Ok what about standard -same. Premium - he did have samples though not really what I was looking for- I asked him what the cost would be & he said he could not give me a quote! I asked why? Because you did not "love the floor"! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR JOB!! Got an estimate from a very nice salesperson Dylan. Decided on vinyl flooring for Living room, dining room and small hallway. This was a Monday Oct 27th. We had to pay half of the job cost which equaled $2,373. On 'Wednesday' the 29th, when installers came out, we decided to refinish our wood floors, rather than go with their services. Partly because the 2 guys who came out immediately started tacking on extra costs to our existing estimate of $6,500 bucks. Stating they needed to put in 'sub flooring' among other extra costs. We were not paying extra and stated as such, hence we cancelled the job, deciding to go with sanding and restoration instead. The installers even agreed that was a better route to go, and the vinyl flooring did not match! Later on in the same day, General Manager Erin Hiller called me stating that I had to pay 30% cancellation fee for the WHOLE job, not just the deposit cost I had paid already.. I was unaware of this fee at the time if I cancelled. I said that seemed very excessive and a huge amount, but I guess if that was the policy so be it, but I was quite upset about it. That was going to be $1,950! She then replied 'well what do you think is appropriate to pay for the sales person's and the workers time that have come out already?' I then told her we would be willing to pay $500 for this, which in my eyes was very generous!! She said she would get back to me and let me know if that was acceptable for her bosses, etc.. After my phone call with her, I looked over the contract in detail, and realized if you canceled within the three days of placing the order, you can get a full refund as stated in the contract . At that time, I was very angry upon seeing this, and not being informed that I could get a full refund from a general manager of all people. Completely blown that she didn't see this before demanding we owe them cancellation fees.. Then the next day (Thursday the 30th) My husband and I jumped in the car traveled an hour away to Troy with paperwork AND cancellation paper printed off and filled out from website in hand, to inform them that we were canceling this job! This was acceptable since midnight on Thursday was within the three day allotted timeframe. I spoke with a gentleman and lady there at Refloor and they said that there was no problem in canceling the job and it was within the three day cancellation window, 'there was no need to have travelled this far.' We informed them that we decided to drive there because we didn't want anyone saying some BS on the phone that it was too late, and they would need a cancellation paper etc. to do it...we wanted to straighten this out in person! I informed them that Erin Hiller was being completely shady and UNPROFESSIONAL by lying to us and not informing us that we could've had a full refund, but of course she didn't come out of the back to talk to us regarding this. HOW WOULD YOU NOT SEE DATES BEFORE YOU CALLED INFORMING ME HOW MUCH I OWE FOR A CANCELLATION FEE!?? Then the KICKER: Miss Hiller then proceeded to call me later on THURSDAY to inform me ' that they were OK with my $500 offer for time spent already on the job' I was instantly infuriated with this call.. told her there is NO way I'm paying a dime and they are refunding ALL of my money per their own contract specifications!! Reiterating to her I was up there and was told everything was going to be dealt with (including informing her!) and a FULL Refund given. The gentleman I spoke to even called her on the phone in the facility while we were present!! She never came out of her office. Apparently she wanted to act like she knew nothing of this, still trying to get 30% cut of my money! Which if you do the math that would've been approximately $1,950!! Obviously this woman as a general manager is just trying to make money for the company. Completely unacceptable business practice! I want to point out that Angelica Brooks was amazing and helped me immensely through this process ... not Erin Hiller! In closing don't deal with this company they're shady and all they'll try to do is take your money ... as a sales person, they should reiterate the fact that you have three days to cancel for a full refund, which they do not do. To pay that much for a job that wasn't even touched is absolutely outrageous. I have called and emailed several people in the company to complain about Miss Hiller's unprofessionalism to no avail. The salesman that came out was very nice, explained things well and i thought I found the flooring I wanted until he started with the pricing. The price kept changing because they could offer discounts, ok, fine. Next he had to call his boss who had even more discounts so the price dropped another $600. The catch was i had to decide right then to lock in that price, they wanted a down payment. I said I wasn't prepared for that today but could pay cash in full next week. They said they couldn't lock in that price and hold until next week. I don't like high pressure sales so I said no and I'm going to go with a smaller local company. I had a disappointing experience with ReFloor that required significant time and effort to resolve. Their sales representative implied their product was exclusive to them with a special lifetime guarantee, when in reality it was COREtec flooring available at many retailers for much less than their $20/sq ft price. The "lifetime guarantee" they emphasized only covered installation, not the product itself. After scheduling installation, I became concerned about being overcharged and requested information about the square footage. Despite multiple calls and emails, I was repeatedly told this information wasn't available or tracked in their system. I was even told by one representative that he would call back when I was "less emotional" after I expressed frustration with their evasive responses. Only after escalating to multiple levels of management did someone finally admit the project was for 600 sq ft, not the 800 sq ft the salesperson had measured. We eventually negotiated a significant discount and got the additional 200 sq ft installed, but it took multiple weeks to complete the project, over six hours of my time, and conversations with at least six different representatives. While I'm satisfied with the final resolution, the process was unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. I would recommend using a local flooring company instead of ReFloor to avoid these issues. ETA: I'm fairly confident they sold my info. Ever since we worked with them I get spam calls (10+/day). I made sure I was on the do not call list and I block each number...but they NEVER stop. Bad review for Refloors . The salesman(Paul) was NOT honest regarding about financing. Very misleading. The guy over my project (John) was very rude and horrible work ethics. He instructed me that if I didn't like my transitions to go to Homedepot to fix it myself. Very poor customer service. The installer (Sam) was very polite, great work ethics, and truthful regarding the issues with my floors but by then it was too late. Beward! Purchased a floor in May 2025, had to have part of it replaced because it broke at the seams in less than a year. We have roller chairs and we ask 3 times if it would be ok. My daughter and son-in-law were here while she called her boss to check. They said no problem. We asked again. So we paid more for this floor then any floor we have had. When it came to fixing the floor they would only replace 5 pieces and the rest we had to pay for it we wanted it fixed right. Then we were told to get mats and put under the table and chairs so this doesn't happen again. I ask what kind and was told I can't recommend any you get what you want. Now we spent close to $200 getting heavier matts to protect a floor that is to handle everyday traffic. We are 81 and 83 years old. So now we can trip over the matts when we go to set at the table. When we have guest we have to tell them to not let the chair go off the matt. Great way to live. To bad we don't live in a world where your word is good. We didn't get it in writing, didn't think we had to since 6 people were involved and heard them confirm no problem. Life time warranty! That is a laugh. read more

I have never experienced a company taking advantage of individuals investing into their home. I received an unbelievable quote for my living room, dining room kitchen and entry way. My quote was $15,000. Due to recent home purchase I was only able to afford kitchen and entryway. I contacted the company to inquire of the remaining amount. The customer service rep was unable to provide the information and after continuing the conversation, I asked the rep for his name and he stated that he could not provide his full name and hung up the phone. I first gave them a wonderful review, then about 2- 3 wks. later they called my husband and said that they under charged us 2,000 dollar's. When my husband told me this I was infuriated, because before they could even start the job, they had a supervisor come out and said they had to lay down some 1/4 inch luan ( plywood) down and the supervisor said we weren't going to be billed for any of it. I also was not given the same wood that we originally bought, instead they told us we had to go with a different wood, which I found out that it was not wood but it was vinyl! My floor's are uneven and there are markings on the floor that I can't get up, the best part is it is not waterproof or scratch proof, dent proof. Refloor installed premium vinyl plank floor November of 2023. Nice friendly crew. Worked hard and cleaned up the mess. But - they are coming for a second time to try to fix it. Floor is warping, lifting, separating... like walking on a water bed. The crew arrived to install my floor, in an open pickup truck, material exposed, in a heavy rain. Had my doubts right then. Installed wet plywood. Seemed to be ok for about 3 months. I don't think they can ever fix this. Wife is sick over spending 18 grand and getting a crappy floor. My advice? Just don't do it. Had Refloor out for an estimate on getting luxury vinyl plank in a spare bedroom and closet that are currently carpeted. The room and closet require 230 sq. ft. of product. Refloor quoted me $6400!!!! For a 12 x 15 bedroom! I cancelled the project and got a call from a manager who said he could go down to $4400. Really? You can easily knock off $2000? Meanwhile, I had Rite Rug out who quoted me $1989 for the entire project using the same quality plank - materials and labor! When the salesman came to the house he made it seem like everything would be perfect, he also stated multiple times that they offered a lifetime 110% money back guarantee. Fast forward almost 2 years, there have been 8 people to my home, the floors replaced completely 3 times (the first time was 1 week after the floor was installed the first time) and they still are not right. Mind you I have requested the money back guarantee since the first time they screwed it up. The 2nd guy that came out was more worried about selling me a counter top (him and his cousin apparently have a counter top business) than doing the floors. The floors were still not right so i called back in (requesting the money back gurentee again) and they sent another guy, who said they had completely screwed up everything and it would take him 2-3 weeks to fix it all. I then got a call from refloor saying they were sending someone else out to fix the floor. Ignoring the fact I keep saying I want my money back guarantee. The last people show up, they pulled out all the flooring and re-layed it again. Breaking 1 closet door and taking another saying they had to trim it down and never came back. I call in again and they say they will look into it. I call again and they say oh there is no record of the call. Not one of their installers spoke English, they showed up 6-7 people in a work van with 2 seats. I called back a final time and after arguing with them on the phone, they just want to send more people out. I tild them i dont want them in my house again and they now want to say there is no money back guarantee. The gentleman i spoke with at first said fine they would do the money back but they were goin to have to come treat out their flooring, I said thats fine. Now he stated that they wouldnt do anything for me. I financed 17,000 through their bank hunter financial, which they will argue isn't their bank, but do your research is a subsidiary company of refloor. And they refuse to stand by their word. So now I am going to be getting my attorney involved and going after them not only for the money back guarantee but for the damage to my home. (Also when they came out the first time they removed the carpet from the upstairs and downstairs of my house and installed their flooring after grinding my subfloor down to a 1/4 inch in spots, pouring self leveler all over and not even letting it cure before laying the floor on it. I contacted refloor after my installation because their flooring prevented me from being able to service my dishwasher because, for whatever reason, they don't refloor under a dishwasher.​ I was told there was a $200.00 service fee to have an installer come out to do so because the flooring is too high to lift my dishwasher over the edge of it to access the back side of it. read more
