The first one that I contacted told me that they couldn't get the part that I needed! I next called Floor Coverings International. It was late in the day and they did not pick up. Surprisingly, my phone rang a couple of minutes later! It was FCI calling me back. I explained what I needed and had a quote the next day. I placed the order and the item was delivered the next day! I was notified by text of the status of my order and kept up to date. Exceptional customer service, especially considering that this was a very small order from a new customer and that another distributor didn't want to be bothered with it!

He sent us an invoice very soon after he visited our home. His pricing was very reasonable and he was flexible with timing and payment. We made arrangements for his team to start on our floors the day we left for a weeklong family vacation, which was so convenient. We had been on the road for just a few hours when he texted me with some very troubling photos of what he found underneath the carpet. I was horrified and dreading the discussion of next steps, but Arianit clearly explained our options and the prices for each option. We ultimately chose to repair/replace the damaged wood and the added cost was very reasonable. Throughout the process, Arianit sent us photos of the progress his team was making and kept us updated as the timeline changed with the added repairs. I could tell even before we got home to see the floors in person that we had made the right choice. When we did get home, I was not disappointed at all. Our floors are beautiful and I can't stop looking at them, even five days later. After going in the other store l, I was about to just go home: I wasn't greeted, acknowledged, or helped in any way after about 30 minutes of waiting at the counter, walking around, being glossed over by salespeople, etc. I was on my way to my truck when I saw Lifestyles across the parking lot. On a whim, I went in. I always use a rule of thumb when reviewing home improvement stores - do they treat me like a woman or like a person? Well, this place was great and definitely treated me like a customer should be treated. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Rick. I explained my frustration with the other store and he was more than happy to help me. He was patient, honest, and attentive without being overbearing. They also stock most of the tile they sell, so I was able to drive away with the tile I liked that day. And, they do accept returns on full boxes of tile within 30 days. They're not as large as the other place, but they have a lot of cool styles of tile and I'd rather spend my money someplace that seems to appreciate my business!
