I wish for first timers they walked us through a little more before entering. the music in class was upbeat which is a plus. i also did some moved that were new. i will say the mats are so close when you need to kick to the side you have to adjust. at the end they give you a towel which was great. the bathroom was nice and also had essentials you may need and a shower. shared space with a smoothie shop which is nice as well.

Just as important to note, if not more so, Alison is excellent (knowledgeable, professional, and very enthusiastic). Over the few classes I was able to attend, it was clear that the 'regulars' who work with her, value her expertise and recognize her genuine interest in each client's success. Well, I hit the jackpot with this studio recommended by one of my good friends. I've had Amanda and Doug, both excellent! Doug shines amongst the brightest in terms of the many instructors and trainers that I've had. He's the only person aside from my doctor that can accurately describe what chronic fatigue feels like. That is simply amazing considering he doesn't have the condition himself (that I know of). His empathy is genuine, not superficial. In spite of all the instructors I've had, I've learned more from Doug in two sessions about managing my energy than anyone else. My session today was very seriously life-changing. When I walked out of that studio today, I had more hope for the future than I've had in years. Instead of being fearful of physical decline and inability to do things, I felt like I had a legitimate, sustainable way to increase and maintain my energy. I am genuinely grateful that I found Simply Pilates and am looking forward to continuing there. Highly recommended! Note: During my first visit, Amanda explained that they do Classic Pilates, not Contemporary Pilates. That means they do exercises created by Joseph​ Pilates without modifications. A distinction like that is important to me because form is very important to me and I know I'm learning something that can be replicated if I go to studios in other states or countries.

Today Jan 18th at 11am to12 pm class was awful. I did not…read morebother to remember her name ,she was subbing . She started by asking us to move stuff around . The whole class was on the floor or on the wall. We used the performer just for couple of exercises like bridges. In the end of the class she did not let us use the performer for cooling down , stretching, cycles with your legs. What we did today I could have done it at home without paying ,traveling, laying on the floor,which I have never seen anybody cleaning it. I think instructors are told not to use the performer so they can save the equipment Horrible experience!!!!

I missed my class because I couldn't find it unfortunately :( I think I may know where it is now but honestly still unsure , I'd give yourself 20-30 min of just buffer room to find it. These doors were all locked but studio could be inside ? If I actually got to finding the place and take the class I'm sure my review would be different this was just my experience ! Please 3x your buffer room time to find !
