The results of the laser hair removal were noticeable after just the first treatment! I could not believe how much less I needed to shave. I wish I did this when I was 18! The staff also make sure to fully explain the treatments and continuously check to ensure a customer is not uncomfortable (the treatments can be a bit painful- but so so so worth it!)

But unfortunately, I've learned something that has completely changed my view on the company. It turns out they've been employing the infamous TikTok personality "Celebritea Blinds," aka Amanda T.P. as their marketing director. This is the woman who has been spreading harmful and offensive rumors about people of color for years, especially targeting Nicki Minaj and other POC for her own monetary gain. I can't, in good conscience, support a business that gives this kind of behavior a platform. So, while I've enjoyed my treatments here, I'll be taking my business elsewhere based on the morals of RMA. It's a shame because I was genuinely happy with my results, but I just can't ignore the bigger picture, and wrong is wrong. If you're considering this place, definitely do your research, because actions like these matter. Hopefully RMA takes this situation seriously.

Yesterday I received a phone call 2 hours before my appointment and was asked to come in earlier since "the aesthetician's clients cancelled due to Covid, and she doesn't really want to stay until 6:15pm." I was in utter disbelief by that statement! If my appointment is at 6:15, I expect to be treated at that time, but I guess it was more important for the aesthetician to leave early. The woman who performed my facial, who I was told is the owner named Kim, made the entire process feel unpleasant. It honestly felt as though she didn't enjoy what she does or interacting with people, which made the facial uncomfortable. Her hands were rude, and her touches were harsh and unprofessional--nasty, really. In my opinion, she should not be offering any cosmetology or esthetician services. I've had facials at other locations, but I didn't even know an experience could be this bad. The place itself also felt dirty, which only added to the negative impression. Additionally, the robe they gave me to wear looked old and well-used, and I wasn't sure if it had been washed between clients. The cloths they used to remove creams were rough on my face--like old, worn towels. It was an overall very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. There are plenty of other options nearby that offer much better services. Posh is definitely one to avoid. A nasty experience all around.
