My teenage daughter once had a scheduling issue but never me. In any case, life happens. Whenever a patient reports a concerning mole as the reason they need to be seen, the Dr. should make it a priority. This is why surgeons and medical oncologists complain about dermatologists like Dr. White. In her reply, Dr White says they offer next day or same week emergency appts. for those who were turned away. Also not true. They did not offer me either. As far as cancer screening, all I can say is the other derm I saw subsequent to Dr. White was far more detailed, taking measurements and recording every single spot that looked remotely off. If Dr. White had done a more thorough check just 8 months prior and seen me despite my being literally 12 mins late, I could have avoided a terrible situation. I am not doing this to "bash" Dr. White, just letting the public know of my experience. As I said, her front office is kind and competent and Dr. White seems like a nice person. I'd be cautious about doing anything beyond cosmetics with her.

I booked a Cosmelan peel and specifically confirmed in writing and in person that I wanted the original formula -- not the newer version, which I had used before and didn't want. Both the front desk and the esthetician assured me I'd be receiving the original. After the treatment, my skin reacted completely differently -- I experienced a severe breakout, something that never happened with the original formula. That's what first made me question whether they actually used the right product. When I followed up, I was met with rude, dismissive behavior and zero accountability. After multiple follow-ups, they finally admitted they had used the wrong formula -- exactly what I had asked them not to use. At first, they refused to take any responsibility. No apology, no solution -- just excuses and gaslighting. It wasn't until I kept pressing that they eventually offered a "touch-up" with what they claimed was the original formula. But that turned out to be even worse -- the jar they offered had already been opened and used on another client. That is absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable, especially for a medical-grade chemical peel. How is that even safe This wasn't just a small mix-up -- this was a medical-grade treatment applied without informed consent, followed by an offer to "fix" it with someone else's leftovers. It's honestly disturbing. And this isn't the first red flag. A while back, they sold me a $300 product that was set to expire in just two months, and when I brought it up, they refused to replace it. I still gave them another chance out of good faith. That was a mistake. The most alarming part was my phone call with the owner, Inna. She constantly talked over me, was defensive, unapologetic, and kept insisting, "But this formula is better." That's completely irrelevant -- I did not consent to it. She even admitted that the front desk and esthetician made a mistake, but still claimed they weren't wrong -- just "uninformed." So who actually knows anything at this spa? Why are clients being treated by staff who, by the owner's own words, are not properly trained or trusted to communicate accurate information? If you're considering going to Novique Medical Spa, please be cautious. Triple-check every treatment and product directly with the owner, because your consent and safety may not be prioritized. For a Brazilian, Enigma considers them separate & charges you separate for your area, your bikini lines & your bottom strip, which turns out to be over $500 for only 6 sessions - Milan charges you for all 3 together with unlimited sessions, as it should be. I did 12 consecutive sessions at Enigma for both my underarms & my entire Brazilian and the hair STILL comes back. They try to squeeze out all the money from you that they can. At Milan, a Brazilian + underarms with unlimited sessions is like $2800 (they give a discount if you've done laser before) aaaand it's split into monthly payments. The seller for me is that you get touch ups for free for life & they have 280 stores across the country in case you move or are on vacation. I'm 27 years old & haven't had kids yet so I can almost guarantee my hair will be growing back somewhere at some point & I'll never have to pay again! The experience itself was also 10x's better at Milan. They take the time to talk you through everything & even explain how the machines work. They give you a robe. They have good music playing in the room. They make you feel extremely relaxed & comfortable, rather than rushing you in & out. They're so welcoming and genuinely care about your experience.
