Although my last experience here wasn't completely horrible, it was well below expectation. Service was attentive, but the server seemed rushed and annoyed most of the time. My friend didn't get a straw and our server was frustrated at her request for one. She was told to look in her silverware bundle, but guess what, there was NO straw in there! It wasn't particularly busy either, so that attitude didn't make a lot of sense. After we turned down extra drinks for a second time, our waitress seemed even more frustrated and was ready for us to leave. I paid the total bill, therefore this treatment was beyond her right as a young server. We are regular customers and give generous gratuity. She took our order brought drinks and didn't come back until she was delivering food. We were all out of drinks at this time and we had to ask her for refills. She had messed up the ticket and when my sister told her there was an extra drink on it, she just walked off without saying anything. She came back and slammed a new ticket down and walked away again without saying anything. We gave her grace and all left her a 20% tip so it was more than she would have gotten if we were all on one ticket. Everyone has a bad right? This weekend my sister was down visiting from California and we decided to give it another try because the food was good. Bad decision! We walked in and got the same waitress . There were only two tables with people in the restaurant. She recognized my sister and began talking to another waitress and looking at us and laughing. She was so rude when she came to give us our menus. We should have requested another waitress right then but we thought since it was so empty we would give her another chance. Again gave us our drinks and never came back. She delivered the food to a table that ordered 10 minutes after us and even the food of a table that came in after them. I was able to get her attention and asked how much longer for our food and she said we are just waiting on the fries. We had 2 orders of fries the tables she had just served before us had 6 between the two. We ordered before both of them. When we asked for a box, she asked if we wanted the ticket split we immediately said no altogether is fine. She brought the ticket and when she handed it to me I was looking how much mine cost so I could get cash out and she snapped at me "did I mess up this ticket too?" We were so uncomfortable my sister quickly handed her card and we left. We looked for a manager but they were on the phone and we wanted out of there. Her name was something like Denae or Denise. She had an opportunity to start fresh with us today and earn a really good tip but because of how badly we were treated we left exactly 15%. I hope the service improves because the atmosphere and food are wonderful but I do not believe we will be going back anytime soon.
