We relay on the wait staff to help us because we can't see all that goes on in the kitchen.. I was careful on what I chose today, but it comes with bread and I told her I can't have that. She knew and I'm thankful she has had customers with the same thing I have. Be mindful in the kitchen because we can end up in the ER, and become so sick from items with wheat in it... I thank you for being understanding and mindful of me... The food here was excellent!! Everyone was pleasant and polite... Will definitely be back!

It was the best service and the best baked potato that I think I have had in a long time as soon as we walked in Emily a.k.a. EM greeted us in a spunky, friendly manner we loved that she was so friendly so attentive then I met Jenny on the way to the bathroom and asked her about their big baked potato and she suggested I have the mac & cheese on a baked potato, which is absolutely divine then Denise came in and told us some funny jokes that she played on her son and we thought that was absolutely hilarious and then when we were leaving, I met Jesus who is going to cheer for Pratt and I wish him all the luck on the ban shell because you've got to do it kid everybody was so friendly. Everybody was so nice. I highly recommend this place. Best food best service great people waiting on you.

It was then I remembered glancing at a huge Beef Processing Plant just on the edge of town...think it was called National Beef... And then it hit me: Cattleman's Cafe + Beef Processing Plant...maybe...just maybe..they served steak here That's how I found myself sitting inside this Midwestern country diner. The description on the menu-- Uncle Ed's Steak sounded legitimate. So I had me a rib eye, with a side of corn and Brocolli. Then to start off, some Bloomin Onions. Rating: Ok, I'm going to be real honest, the quality of the beef is *Good* Its on the level of USDA Choice Select, but it IS fresh. Like I can enjoy the natural flavors of the Beef, it's not drenched in marinade and just the overall taste spelled decent quality. Now, because back in the days, I would go out to Costco and pick up USDA Prime Ribeyes three or 4 cuts at under 45.00 (those were the good times). But it wouldn't be fair to compare this to that so for a standard family run affair, this place serves pretty solid steak. Though however the chef kinda went on the rarer side for my Medium Rare and if the cuts have so much fat marbling in them, it probably would be better for the steak to be grilled longer on the fat tissues. The corn sides were a little to sweet and wished they either cut down on the sugar, or use some heavy whipping cream or half and half to balance that sweetness out-- like real creme corn. The Bloomin Onions were a surprise. Over the past decades, I'd probably only order this appetizer at say Outback Steakhouse, but this dish does take the prize for a worthy starter here at the Cattleman's. Overall, server was very locked in. True country hospitality, think her name is Naziah. Kudos! Great service! And anyone ever driving through town, give this place a go.

The service was really good. The waitress was super friendly, very helpful. I got the country fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy and fried okra. Man, what a meal. ! I really enjoyed it. The catch fried steak was huge. I ate part and took the rest to eat for breakfast the next morning. Everything came out hot and tasty I was very happy with my meal here I would come back.

The tater tots were fresh and crispy. My friend had the stacked enchilada with an egg on top... It really looked amazing! Tasted good too. Portions were very large. There is a bar attached to this restaurant but we did not go into it. The decor is lovely and it's very spacious. A lot of men wearing cowboy hats in attendance! Definitely make sure you check out the bathrooms before you leave... Especially the handles on the door stalls. So cool!

The dining room was spacious, every table could be filled, and you'd still be able to walk without asking people to move in. The Bar was equally spacious with plenty of drinking options. We got the deep fried devils egg for the appetizer, these were an amazing combination of texture and flavor. We each got a steak for the main course, both were cooked to perfection and tender beyond anything in our recent memory. The sweet potatoes were so perfectly cooked in seasoned. They were easily consumed using only a fork. We followed up with banana pudding and bread pudding. Both were out of this world. It's unusual to get banana pudding that's made in house and not some flavored glue out of a can. It was topped with whipped cream that actually melted, which told me it was real whipped cream. And it wasn't premade before I ordered because all the vanilla wafers both in it and around, it were crispy and delicious. The bread pudding was equally as delicious. It was dense and sweet and had a nice subtle flavor of bourbon. Even the iced tea was made in house, not from some concentrate or taken out of a soda fountain Our server Parla was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, she made our evening a wonderful overall experience
