    Recliner seats and table

This Regal location has made some outstanding upgrades since I started coming here! They now have comfy, reclining seats, each with their own little table for snacks and drinks. They always have the new releases, and everyone is always very friendly. This is the theater that I visit the most often and I recommend everyone to give it a try if you're in the area!

I usually don't go to regal cinema but they didn't have this movie at santikos at the time I needed. The theater looked very nice and clean. The only issue I had was the movie started at 10:55am but after all the commercials and previews it didn't start until 30 minutes later. Most of the commercials were repeated over and over which was very annoying. They really need to cut down the commercials and maybe people will enjoy their movie experience

REGAL RESERVING GOOD SEATS FOR WALK-INS/LATE BUYERS!! We tried to book seats for the Hail Mary showing on April 1 -- to join friends also attending -- , at 5:50pm. I went straight to the theater to buy them (and avoid a $4 online fee). When I tried to book at the kiosk, all the good seats were unavailable, and only the side seats and front row (really bad seating) were available. We considered these seats but it looked sold out (see the images). Then, when we decided to pay the $4 fee and book online, still only bad seats. We didn't go, but our friends did, and reflected the theater was near EMPTY! The good seats sat empty and we didn't see a move at a theater. Theater's desire to maximize profits are to blame, leaving the good seats for walkups and last-minute buyers. Another nail in the theater coffin for us.

I purchased the combo along with the cup and they did not give me the topper to the cups. I keep trying to call but it automatically disconnects and there's no other way to contact anyone. It's not cool when you don't get what you paid for.

Ask the Community - Regal Alamo Quarry

Do they serve food and drinks like drafthouse?

They don't serve you at your seats like the Drafthouses but they carry more than the standard popcorn and soda concessions. Off the top of my head I know they have pizza, burgers, chicken strips, and a mix of alcohol.

A sculpture garden surrounds the museum so there's plenty of areas to stroll and take photos. This museum resides in a gorgeous 1920s Spanish colonial revival residence built by Marion McNay. The building itself is art with its wood detailing, arches, and intricate tile ceilings and floors. The actual art collection consisted of over 20,000 items, but only some are displayed and occasionally on rotation. The collection embodied European and American art of the nineteenth century, twentieth, and twenty first centuries. Sooo much to see- paintings, special exhibits, vase collection, Angelica Raquel Mystic Threads, sculptures, and a lovely garden/pond/fountain containing koi. The museum has a gift shop, restrooms, and a special collection of art displayed by many artistic school children. My new found artist I discovered here was Carl Rice Embery. A pure Texan, his art was amazing ! Initially I thought the pieces were photographs, but up close they are actual paintings. That's how realistic they are. Simple Texan scenery. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

They have dinosaurs!…read more It's been YEARS since I've been to the Witte, but my fiancé bought tickets for the special Pterosaur exhibit for our anniversary since he knows I'm a dinosaur freak. This was his first visit to the Witte, and while we both had some fun we were admittedly a little disappointed. Considering the giant dinosaur fossils in the main hall just inside the front doors, we expected there to be a larger collection or wider variety of natural history exhibits. However, the majority of the museum was Texas history and wildlife: taxidermy animals to the left and hill country artifacts to the right on your way to the special rotational exhibit space. It was like walking through every other Texas history museum, though these collections felt more sparse. Even the Pterosaur exhibit was a little lacking, the special gift shop and interactive video game taking up more of the space than the actual pterosaurs themselves. All in all it's not a bad museum, I'm just not all that jazzed about Texas history and it wasn't what we were expecting. For a museum it was admittedly pretty small and both the regular and special exhibit ticket prices seemed too high for what we experienced. I'd say give this place a try so you can see for yourself whether or not it's worth it for you. Museums are never a waste of money and you always leave having learned something new.
