I got no email receipt for purchase. Ended up doing a screen capture/ and emailing myself the image of the QR code and showed that for entry, which worked fine. The projector blanked out three times during the film, for multiple lines of dialogue and most of one scene. I figure, once is a surprise, twice is - c'mon now. Three times? This almost certainly has happened before, and I don't know what the timeline is on repairing that, but I will save my money and probably not make the drive to pay to see a film there again. Popcorn was ho-hum. Hot pretzels were good. Husband loved the fried ravioli. But the thing, I'm there for the *movie*, not dinner out. I was happy to see the movie since everyone is raving about it, but I feel like the color vibrancy and pop I wanted to enjoy was missing in this experience. Random people turning on and off their cards and headlights during the film is annoying, but not the end of the world. Really though - fix that projector!

(This is mostly due to the fact that there really aren't a lot of choices for these types of things in the area.) I have been to the Clemens Center many times throughout my life and have had both really good experiences with shows as well as really poor ones. On occasion there will be actual legitimate shows that come, such as STOMP. One thing that I dislike is that the workers (many volunteer) are often times rude, unfriendly, or lacking knowledge when you have questions about tickets, etc... so be prepared for that if you are going to the Clemens Center.

They've never been and I promised it would be a blast. Got in line for the Orphan House at 7:30. Line was fairly short but still took us 20 minutes. Problem is they were only letting a single party through at a time, so if you only had two people, that was it. Next party even if it was two people, had to wait 3-5 minutes before being let in instead of just letting them go together. Not a big deal if the line is relatively short but one can see how this will snowball very quickly. On top of it, they introduced "speed passes" for $8 a pop exacerbating the wait for the rest. Idea is like a Disney fast pass but they don't have the experience at line control to handle it well Anyway, was fun, we were all giggling after getting out. Made our way to Psycho Swamp and got in line a few minutes after 8:00. We were about 6 feet beyond the "45-60 min" wait sign. And it was moving at a SNAIL PACE. All the while the "speed pass" line kept moving while us peons were left literally standing. We did not get to the front of the line until 10:15. TWO F'ING HOURS! We would have waited longer but a nice group in the speed pass line let us go with them. It was after 10:30 by the time we were done and the third attraction, the Motel had an even LONGER line. I didn't see the wait sign but at best estimate it would have been another 2 hour wait at least. It would have been well after midnight when we were done, and absolutely no time to do a fourth had we bought a Pick 4. And with two young kids we could not stay any longer. An absolutely miserable experience. And the cherry on top of this glorious night....no refunds. So all told, we spent $160 to stand in line for 2 and half hours and 30 minutes of "fun". Two stars because the actors were great and sets were done really well.

We chose a Saturday in August to…read moredo this and included in the gliding experience, was a pass to this museum, which is in the same parking lot as the gliding experience. This is a great supplement to the gliding experience, in that you can learn more about what you just did and the history of flying. I really enjoyed this a lot. I liked seeing the cloth from the Wright Brother's plane, which a piece is located in this museum and another one. There is so much great information. There is also a photo op to take photos and some interactive displays. I really enjoyed the miniature room, which displayed furnished doll houses. I learned so much from this museum and had no idea that Elmira was such an epicenter for gliding and that the factory that made gliders was in Horseheads, NY. I also had no idea that Astronaut Eileen Collins was from Elmira. It was cool seeing her outfits and learning various information about her. It is truly amazing at the people before us who made gliding possible and the experiments that they did to succeed. They were extremely brave, creative and geniuses. The gift shop is great as well. There is also a video to watch before touring the museum, but we skipped that since we actually glided before.

Great museum of glass artwork!…read more We found some really nice, fun bars and restaurants in Corning NY. We really drove here from Ithaca for the Corning Museum of Glass. What a treat! Clever creative colorful artwork. A lot of talent. A good dose of whimsy. An amazing visualization of population-growth in cities around the world, represented by glass shapes hanging over a map. Like a 3-D NyTimes infographic! A floor-to-ceiling rainbow window making a rainbow room! Etched glass. Blown glass. Sculpted glass. Hours of shapes and colors we are still dreaming about :-)

Held on the second weekend in July (confirm dates on the website), The Finger Lakes Wine Festival…read moreis a great day out. I went in July 2017 and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. There were four long tents set up with different wineries on each side; over 90 wineries were represented. Included in the $50 one-day ticket (cheaper when purchased before June) was a winery guide book, a tasting glass, and a little tote bag. Each winery table had multiple varietals to sample, usually about 4-6 each table usually with dry, semi dry, and sweet options. Now I am a wine drinking pro in real life, but I am an amateur at The Finger Lakes Wine Festival because I was tipsy after being there for about 30 minutes and I had to call it a day after only visiting two of the four tents. The good news is a two day pass is only $55, so I recommend that option and seriously pacing yourself. I would also recommend camping onsite as that would be the most convenient and safest way to enjoy the festival. There are food vendors and other activities in the festival, literally something for everyone.

When I tried to tell her that wasn't right she insisted that was it I even tried when a different girl was there but I wasn't going to stand there and argue and make a fool of myself over a diet soda but what gets me is I paid $25.00 for NOTHING just to walk around they didn't even give me a wine glass! I called the Glen this morning and told the person how unhappy I was and it was pretty expensive and get nothing in return not even a diet soda and she said she was sorry and would talk to them!! This doesn't do me any good now so anyone who encountered this problem let them know this is not right I can't believe I was the only designated driver who was refused a soda.
