I am disappointed with these cleaners. I have lived in San Pedro my entire life and I have come to this specific cleaner a handful of times because it is closer to my house. A couple of months ago I dropped off several handmade items and I explained to the seamstress that I needed something sewn on one of the items. The other items I just needed repaired because they had holes in them. There are a pair of gold embellished sequenced Wings that I purchased from downtown LA that I wanted to put on to one of the handmade items that I had. I showed her where one of them she mark the spot and she said that she could do it. Moving forward, I go to pick up the items and before I get to my car something tells me that I need to double check them. So I go into my trunk in front of the shop where she could see, and I thoroughly looked at the items. I saw immediately that there was a poor job done. I took the items back inside and I explain to her that the quality of the repair that she did was unacceptable. I explain to her that I myself so and I just wanted to save my time so I was willing to pay somebody to do it. She explained to me that her sewing machine couldn't do it so that she needed to do it by hand. I told her that I was able to do it with my sewing machine and it is not a commercial sewing machine like hers is and I just decided that I didn't feel like doing it so I paid her. She made a bunch of excuses and said that she did the best that she could. I have uploaded the picture for you to see and anybody can tell that she did not do the best job that she could. Initially I was relatively passive and trying to be nice and then I got irritated because she started giving me an attitude. She told me that it took her a long time to do it, which you can see by the photo that is a complete lie. I have carpal tunnel and I still could've done a better job with my hands than this and I would have attempted to do so also if I had known that this is what was going to happen. She tells me that there's nothing that she could do it she charge me what it cost for her to do the work. I gathered my things and I went to my car. I took out my phone and I started taking pictures of the establishment and the items. Only then did she come out and try and resolve the problem. When I got in my car it was about to leave she came out and asked me why I was taking pictures. I told her that I was going to put it on Google and let people know that this is the kind of work that she is doing so that they don't make the same mistake that I did. She begged me to come inside. I come inside and she proceeds to tell me the same thing. She gives me seven dollar and asked me if we're OK now. Mind you this isn't the only item that she did Poor work on it's just the one that I was using to get her to understand where I was coming from. I asked her how much she charge me to do this item and asked her to look at the receipt and she found that she actually charged me $12 for it. She then gives me five more dollars and asks if we're fine. I grab my things and I go outside. She comes to my car and she asked me if everything's OK. She told me to hold on and then she calls her daughter. I have no idea what she said but I did keep hearing her say Google. This was her main concern not customer service. Long story short her daughter proceeds to tell me the same thing. She told me that this is within her scope and this was the best that she could do. I sent her images and she apologize and admitted that this was not a good job. She still kept making the same excuses that her mother was saying and saying that this was the best she can do. I explain to her that if this was the type and quality of work and her scope that they should not be saying online that they do alterations because it's a lie if this is their capacity. Eventually I got frustrated because they wasted a lot of my time, I paid over $80 to get all of her things done that she did and I feel as if I should only have had to pay for the two dry cleaning jobs that she did. OMG i have to write a review!! I threw my baseball hat into a normal batch of laundry... and it came out really winkley and shrunken.. Bad Idea... I brought it to regal cleaner remembering that she did a real nice job on my leather jacket last time.. I don't know how she did it... but here is the hat before and after dry cleaning!!! It looks like a brand new hat!!! When you find the perfect fitting hat, the last thing you want is to shrink it or stretch it out... if u have hats to dry clean... I've been going to this cleaners on and off for the past 7 years even when they were in the big 5 plaza and the owner Jenny has always been the sweetest lady. She would always remember my name and make me feel welcomed. I get my shirts done and I have nothing to complain about. I had a suede hat that I didn't know it was possible to clean I tried it out and all the old stains all came out and it felt new. The price is good and its walking distance from our house so its a perfect spot and location for me. read more

I now know the owners and they are sweet, hard-working, and they know how to clean, sew, and do alterations. This is a total local joint that I think all the neighbor people know about. They do all the stuff that most dry cleaners do but what I like most is the husband and wife that run this place. They are really sweet and people I want to support. One time I was running late but had to pick up my clothes for next day work so I called and Jenny stayed open late waiting for me for 15 minutes. Im all about supporting mom and pop shops with great customer service! Oh I forgot to mention that this place is known for alterations. Took two sport coats in to be cleaned one of the coats to be altered one inch of the sleeves. The total came to $40.90 I thought that was extremely high but I don't normally dry clean clothes I found another place that would do it for $10 I called them immediately they said one coat was sent out just then to be cleaned . I got store credit for the rest of it. I'll let everyone I know not to go here the lady talked to me like a child and I don't believe my coat could of been sent out in 1/2 hour timeframe $28 seemed a little ridiculous for a simple alteration read more

Horrible experience! I have a pattern (Vogue "Super Easy") and material but I am running out of time to sew the outfit as I'm not great at sewing. My daughter used to take her tailoring to a lovely lady here (Jenny?) so I wanted to give my business to her. I was met (I won't say greeted) by a man. I opened the bag and took out the pattern (seriously, the pattern has 5 pieces) and before I could say two words he said, "No, take too long." We didn't discuss time frame or price (I am willing to pay well for the talent and labor). He just kept saying no. Not sure why the "Open" sign was up... he clearly did not want to work. read more
