Another place that needs to shut down for a temporary time to remodel. There was plenty of parking. The lobby was stuck in 1993. The ordering of snacks took 25 minutes. The employees were working at a snails pace. I don't think they had enough employees working either. The quality of snacks were fine. Clean area where napkins, straws condiments were. Didn't see any popcorn messes and bathrooms were clean. The theater I was in didn't have recliner seats but they had cup holders . I don't think I will be back . read more

I came to see the comedic drama film, The Phoenician Scheme with Benicio del Toro and Scarlett Johansson along with other actors. This film by Wes Anderson always has great set design and witty though improbable situations. I arrived just before they indicated showtime of 125pm. They were showing TV style commercials. Then 6 movie trailers all which were B rated films, since I had never heard of them. The projection and sound systems were excellent. Note, the seats in auditorium 10 did not recline. read more

My girlfriend, a woman I hope to call "wife" one day, and I went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 3 today. Using the Regal app to buy the tickets is incredibly fast and easy. I really enjoy the simplicity of the app. We bypass the ticket counter and go right to the concession counter. Today we bought a large buttered popcorn and a large cherry Icee. The man that waited on us was name Darrius and he was pleasant, efficient and always smiling. He was the epitome of professional as personable. I'd hire him a second. The movie theater and the lobby were both clean and tidy. The concessions line moved quickly and the parking was close and plentiful. The 3D movie was excellent and the screen and the sound system were fabulous. This theater continues to be my "go to" theater even though it's a tad farther away from house than a few others. read more

My husband and I saw Dune 2 here over the weekend. It was fairly clean although the soap in the women's bathroom was empty. The seats were comfortable and it was kind of nice to go to an older style theater. My parents watched our son while we were at the movie and my mom requested popcorn, so we bought a tub on the way out (almost $12 for pop?!?) and it was seriously delicious. She sent some home with us and we haven't been able to stay out of it. read more

We went to see Waitress the Musical yesterday night at this theater. I had bought tickets online for this movie and had to move the date to a different day due to traveling. When I called to change the date, they told me they couldn't do this over the phone and that I had to come in to get it changed. I thought it was a weird, but it ended up working out okay. We only go to river point crossing because of refills on icees... Today was the last time we go here after they refused refills on two icees, we asked when we ordered if they had refills and they said yes on large, then we ordered two. I guess they have us medium.. But we had just asked about refills and they did not ask what size we wanted. We have mostly been going to Alamo anyway, today was the last time I go to river point regal. bought a movie ticket to a 5:30 PM show and had to go ask for a refund at 6 PM because the show had not started big waste of my time. The place is trash, understaffed and very unprofessional. This theatre is basic af. It checks the box as a place to watch a movie. It's the same price point as all the other area theatres. This location on the day we went had limited staff, and air conditioning. The concessions staff was quick and helpful. One of the associates that went to get the popcorn order, even helped himself to some from the bag I purchased. Not sure if that is a quality assurance, but he was unapologetically munching away as he handed me the bag. I don't know that I would come back, we just happened to be in the area. I would probably head somewhere else that had better seats that actually recline, climate control and where the employees don't openly snack on my purchases. read more

Well I'm not sure where to start. Went to see a 6:50 movie tonight and got there a bit early to grab snacks and a drink. Popcorn was nasty stale and the hot dog bun was hard and old. It seems no one was in charge of the kids behind the counter, sorta gang ish feel. The movie commercials started at 7:05 and I believe the movie actually started about 7:25? I wanted a better experience. I score a 2.3579. It was clean and ample parking. I'll try another theatre next movie. read more

My husband and I went here Nov. 30 to see "Bonhoeffer". The women's bathroom was filthy--toilet paper dispensers were empty so rolls of toilet paper had been placed nearby. As a result, people had put toilet paper all over the floor. The floors needed to be mopped and countertops wiped. Within 24-48 hours of going to this theater, we came down with norovirus. All of my past experiences at this theater have been positive so it was surprising to encounter such an unhygienic setting! read more

OMG, Thee worst service ever! They had no clue what movies they were showing. The one clerk had zero communication skills. I would ask him to repeat and he (Ethan) would just mumble again. He had no clue how to run a credit card. His supervisor how obviously has anger issues wasn't much help and was clearly annoyed to be bothered. I have Regal Unlimited, but I'm cancelling now. I never write reviews on here, but I was very upset after trying to see a movie here tonight. It's a Thursday night. I always arrive a few minutes late because of how long previews are. Since I have the membership, they just scan my QR code and I walk right in. All the doors are locked when I arrive to the theater. There is a tall, white man with glasses behind the counter. When he finally sees me knocking on the door, he puts his finger up for me to wait. He points someone else to take care of me and stays behind the counter. An employee walks to the entrance and stands in the doorway to block me from entering. "My manager said to tell you we are closed." The parking lot had tons of cars and all the lights inside were still on. I told him that the movie I'm planning to see started only 5 minutes ago so I'm wondering how they could be closed. He said that I need a ticket to enter. I told him that I have a membership and he said "I'll have to tell my manager that you have a ticket." He implied that his manager told him to only let people in the building if they have a ticket. Again, I consistently buy tickets to a movie that started a few minutes prior and this was not my first time attending late in the evening. I ended up leaving because I didn't feel like begging the manager to let me see a movie. I've been going here since before I could even drive and I'm grossed out by this experience. The manager stayed in the exact same spot for this whole interaction and didn't even bother to explain how they were "closed". This lazy management was embarrassing to witness. Sending one of your employees to act as security when you don't want to deal with any customers is unacceptable, in my opinion. The employee was just following demands and I understand that. Since reopening just recently I feel as though this place has forgotten how to make popcorn The "butter" for the popcorn tastes the worse ever and the toilets now have a ring around the bowl since they were sitting so long without being cleaned. The ladies room in the front of the theater had no soap on an entire wall. Very dissatisfied. read more

We had the whole movie theater to ourself which was nice. I left during the movie to go get a snack but the counter was closed. It was fairly late so I didn't mind that. I walked back into the theater and there's a shadow of an employees hand over the projection. Then when I sit down someone opens the window from the projection room and peaks their head out and starred at us. Then an employee comes into the theater and asks for mine and my boyfriends tickets. Comfy and cozy, could be popular if it wasn't located in a weird spot. Definitely would recommend to someone who just wants to be alone or wants to watch a movie without others bugging them. Prices match all locations so it's the same. Quite a drive from where I live but I might just keep coming back due to the fact they keep show casing older movies that have passed in other theaters. Place is clean and employees seem super friendly. If you are ever in need of a hidden away movie theater, I recommend here, just make sure you know it is past Denver so it is a drive. read more

Came in from having a great dinner before hand at the Bout Time grill. Great customer service there. Walked in here and decided to get drinks. After waiting in one line was told we'd have to go to another line if we wanted drinks. Sat at the counter for five minutes and only after we complained about not getting service were we told we could to the next counter. As soon as we walk over a group of people walk in front of us. As we are in our second line the line we just came from finally opens up, and they are serving drinks! It appears it was a manager or or assistant manager who was taking the drink orders. Never acknowledged us, and when we asked what was in the sangria he stated "I have no idea."We ordered the sangrias which were $9.00 a piece and were warm! TH?! Please don't waste ur time with this theatre there are so many better options in area! read more

Post 9-11 Movie theatre there is no current shows or times outside I have to pick my seat because "People reserve their seats on the internet" so now I have to pick a seat and what if I do not sit in my seat and I sit in the internet orders seat and then they show up I think you should go back to general admission seating because picking a seat on the screen is not anyone's favorite dish what if someone wrote a novel is there now an internet order where I write my novel to these amount of pages if that's true they should make hummers more affordable in not siting in the seat they pick for me read more

Just to let you know even though this theater makes you reserve seats now they have not upgraded or remodeled the theater and do not have the cool new seats where you can put your feet up. I feel this is a way to get people to go there and is false advertising. Same old musty seats and is more expensive than theaters that have upgraded. I was so excited to go because I thought since they now make you reserve seats that they got the new cool seats. But not the case! Disappointed! read more

I am currently sitting in a theater for a 9:00pm 3D show which I arrived to early. The movie before my show finished at 8:10pm and non of the 5 attendants have even tried to clean the theater. It is now 8:50pm, 10 minutes to show time, and guest are arriving and the Theater is filthy with trash from the movie before hand everywhere. Worst part is the manager (guy in the black shirt) knows the theater is dirty and is joking around with the attendants right outside of the room. I over heard and attendant tell him the theater was dirty at 8:25pm when guest walked in early and he shrugged his shoulders. I would report this but obviously the manager does not care. Absolute worst movie theater experience I have ever received. Other guest are making comments and discussed. read more

I've been to this theater a few times, and overall the actual movie experience is fine (seats are comfortable, sound is great, etc.). I usually buy tickets online and use the kiosk to print them out, so that works out well too. However, when going to buy concessions, this place fails miserably. I've been there for matinees, and it is never busy at all. Last time there were 5-6 teenagers behind the counter gabbing, so I went to the register closest to them (there were no other workers behind the long and empty counter). They just kept talking as I waited literally a couple of feet from them, and after a couple of minutes I had to interrupt them to ask if they were working/open. One of the girls asks what I want, I tell her & pay. She gets the order and just sets it down and keeps talking to the others behind the counter. No words, no thank you. I get that some teenagers can be clueless about manners, but they are working. They should all be fired to learn a lesson. On a plus, the guy taking the tickets was very nice and even pointed us in the right direction of our theater. read more

I couldn't believe when we went to pay for the tickets that when I used a 50 dollar bill that the casher had to get the manager's permission to let me use it. That was just crazy and slowed the process down. There was no reason for it and make me less likely to go to the theater as I like to use cash for most everything and sometimes have only a fifty. The staff was friendly and the food was your typical theater food. Also, the place was clean with no noise level to disturb your movie, but really make a stink out of taking a 50? Just use a special pen to make sure its not fake then lets move on. read more

First time experience with a Regal theater. I heard it was formerly United Artist. Doesn't matter either way , not bad experience roughly $28 for 2 adults and 1 child, after concessions spent around $55. I can't really complain about the money because we knew movie prices are going up all the time and even if you go to an Elvis Cinema your still dropping money in the 20's. This was a treat for my son for a reward he got at school and honestly the theater was clean ,seats were comfortable, nice sound system Also liked the fact a team member walked through the theater a couple of times during the show. This place rarely disappoints. My but still puckers when I think about how expensive the movie tickets are, but I get it. You're paying for the experience and the sound and movie quality. We saw the crimes of Grindewald in the RPX format and was disappointed with their claimed "HD Surround Sound". It seemed poorly calibrated as I felt that our big box store surround sound Samsung set up at home is more epic. All in all, the place was clean, bathrooms weren't gross, and the popcorn tasted good. read more

I like this theater and was SUPER DISAPPOINTED that they are so unorganized that I missed TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. They FORGOT to start the movie and when the audience told them, it was 20 minutes into the show. I didn't want to stay for that. Took me forever to be "processed," He couldn't refund me because I bought from Fandango--a third party. So he gave me 4 tickets. Big deal. I can't go on Wednesday night as I have a previous commitment. And I don't really go to the movies much. How hard is it to have someone responsible to turn the movie on? So disappointed. read more

We went to see "The Way Back" yesterday. Maybe it's because of the coronavirus, but there were only 4 of us in the theater. It was also a matinee, and this place never pulls in many people during the daytime. The entire movie looked like it was filmed right before dawn, or at dusk, or in very dark rooms. It was a mediocre movie to begin with, but the fact that you could barely make out the faces in some shots didn't help much. It's my understanding that dim screen lighting is NOT the fault of the movie itself, but is done by the theater in an attempt to save money. I've run into this problem a few times before with theaters that were circling the drain, and I think this Riverpoint theater complex might fall into that category. Whatever the reason, we won't go back. Movie goers deserve better in return for the price of a ticket. read more

This theater is absolutely gross. We normally go to the AMC by Southwest Plaza but we really wanted to take our daughter to see Sing2 well we had time off for the holidays. The first thing I noticed is the front doors. Disgusting. Covered in slime to the point where you could barely see through them. Once we got into the lobby it was jampacked with people and only three registers running for snacks and refreshment. Took forever waiting in line to get some popcorn and a soda. They did not have any napkins and just had rolls of paper towels randomly scattered about. As you walk to the theater, the floors were covered with trash and debris. The tile looked like it had an in mopped in months. And when I went to use the bathroom, there was no soap. Haven't been to this theater in several years and now I remember why. I think it will be a long time before I come back. read more

This theatre has big spacious seating....bonus, I love when armrests go up, like this theater, so I can bug my fiance with hand holding the whole movie :) Aisles are nice and big, so not too inconvenient if someone needs to walk by. They offer a lot of options for your desired movie experience. I think there's like 4 different types of 3D, a 4k selection, and the 'ol regular screen. Pricing is fair for each tier of viewing you choose. I believe there is an additional mall tax for this theatre, so the prices might be a tad higher than a ticket compared to the other theatres. Staff is always super friendly and management seems to really care. Concession prices are decent and huge sizes with refills. My only complaint is the concession stand always seems like they are in the weeds. Delays, long lines, people running around, etc. They also don't have salt shakers, and only salt packets. And they put the butter on for you but the popcorn is pretty good. Eh, guess I should watch my sodium and cholesterol anyways and didn't need as much - but c'mon I am going to an event where I literally only burn calories for 3 hours by chewing and want (read:need) that extra buttery extra salty thrill of a health risk. On a positive note, every time the concession stand is busy, management is always on the front lines helping them move it quickly and help the team. So really just arrive about 30 minutes early on a popular movie night and you should be just fine! Close to home, what you expect from a movie theater, fulfills the movie experience, good food, comfy, go early. read more

Went today to see the minions movie that was supposed to start at 12. It didn't start till 12:25. Then half of the previews there was no sound. The money you spend on movies now days. It should start when they say it will start. Can't people do there jobs anymore? Won't be going back. AMC has nicer seats and cheaper. read more

This review is for their crap costumer service call center... My husband and I ordered tickets online expecting to go see the Blockers movie after our dinner. Sadly it was a busy Friday and the wait to get seated was longer than we anticipated..Anyway we needed to cancel our tickets and get a refund.. THE ONLY WAY TO DO SO is to either show up to the box office (pointless) or call their call center. We chose the latter. a solid 20 min before our show time as the rule is you need to cancel before the show time (understandably). I was on hold for 35 min when the "expected wait time was 2 min".... so as you can expect i wasn't going to wait any longer and they pretty much took my money. Needless to say I won't ever be going to that theatre again. read more
