I think that's a hard thing to do, you've really got to know when to check in; kudos to them. Food is great portion wise! It would be great to separate alcohol & food menus. The alcohol dominates the menu, I don't drink so it was off putting to me. I love the Alamo Drafthouse and the QR code situation doesn't bother me too much. The service has been very smooth and fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The screens are great and crisp, sound is excellent, but the seats are horrible here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seat cushions are way too narrow and you feel yourself sliding forward a bit. They are stiff leather seats and outdated. Also, the seats have a big two inch gap at the bottom which makes it easy to lose things behind the seat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Westminster location has much better seats that recline. The parking is much harder here compared to Westminster. I usually park in their parking lot behind the theater or on side streets but there's also a validated garage across the street. You have to validate at the front desk before you go into your theater and that gives you 4 free hours. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's also a much sketchier location compared to Westminster, especially at night. I came back to my car to see a homeless couple shooting up drugs on the Alamo staircase behind the theater. Just be aware that's a possibility here if getting out late at night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food is great especially the BBQ chicken pizza. The homemade chocolate chip cookies are usually great but tonight they served me them in a plate that's too cramped for the soft cookies, and they therefore became deformed and fell apart. When you charge $10 for cookies, at least have them on a plate long enough for all 3 cookies like the Westminster location. I haven't been to the Littleton location in CO, but I see no reason to ever go to this location over the Westminster one unless something is only playing here. read more

We came to see Positions, which was like Requiem for a Dream and crypto had a baby and made a movie (and gave me a lot of the same emotions). I rarely order food or drinks at a movie, but when I have it's been decent here. I really dislike the mobile ordering. I don't want to look at my phone during the movie I paid for and then wait for the 20 minute countdown that starts during the movie, to which a tip is automatically applied if you don't select a different option. My last time in I ended up missing a lot of my movie ordering food, there was an issue with my bill so trying to figure out how to take care of that on the confusing website and then closing out the bill. I get they probably wanted to cut staff and this is one way to do it but it's extremely frustrating to miss the movie you paid for. Had I not been staring at my phone during the movie I would have been charged 2x for my food as everything was entered in twice. The prices are extremely high as it is. The soft drinks have gotten smaller and I was unsure if refills were offered so had to try and find that on the phone as well (with no luck). I did email about that issue I ran into last time I was in and received NO reply. My wife and I went to the Alamo Drafthouse to see Jackass: Best and Last, and while we enjoyed the movie itself, the overall experience at this location was incredibly frustrating. The biggest problem was the app. It was confusing from start to finish and never gave us any confirmation that our food order had actually gone through. I ordered the vegetarian burger with regular cheese instead of the vegan cheese, plus a side of ranch. When the food arrived, it had vegan cheese on it anyway, and there was no ranch. We had to submit a complaint through the app, which, once again, gave us no confirmation that it had been received. About 15 minutes later, someone finally came over, took my burger, apologized, and said they would remake it. By that point, my wife had already received her meal, finished eating, and was done while I was still waiting for mine. When my replacement burger finally arrived, the staff was polite and apologetic, but unfortunately the burger itself was awful. It was honestly one of the worst burgers I've ever eaten. To top it all off, after the movie we checked our bill and discovered they had charged us for both burgers--the incorrect one they took back and the replacement. That meant my wife had to spend even more time using the app to file yet another complaint. Between placing orders, reporting mistakes, checking the bill, and filing complaints, she spent more time looking at her phone than watching the movie. Mistakes happen, but the confusing app, lack of order confirmations, poor food quality, and incorrect billing completely ruined what should have been a fun night out. The Alamo is one of our favorite theaters to watch movies. We came there with our boys to see the new Fantastic 4 movie. There food is really good--we love the Royal With Cheese Burger: Tillamook cheddar, beef patty, bacon, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, lemon-garlic aioli, toasted bun (or sub GF bun)--the GF bun is really good. I love Alamo Drafthouse as a chain and live in between Sloans Lake and Westminster. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If I have a choice, I choose Westminster over Sloans Lake due to Westminster's more comfortable chairs, bigger theaters, and easier parking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm a sucker for the big reclining chairs and none of the theaters at Sloans Lake have them![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've even sat in torn up chairs at Sloans a few times, which decreases the comfort even more.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Alamo's service is very different from traditional theaters. Instead of ordering and picking up food in the main area, there's a server that takes your order at your seat and brings it to you. Popcorn and soda are unlimited, which does mean servers are running in and out throughout the movie, which can be a love/hate situation for some. They also don't have traditional "movie theater butter" popcorn, instead I think they use ghee, which is a healthier alternative and we enjoy it, but again, could be a love/hate situation. I say this because the last time I went I was not impressed with the food, and even so the theater is too dark to see the food. Well they did not disappoint. We were on holiday in Denver but HAD to see Deadpool & Wolverine! I picked this spot because it looked like the most fun and it was very close to where we were staying. It's adorable inside and out. The staff was very helpful and guided us each step of the way. The bar had themed drinks pertaining to the movie and they were delicious. The theater parking is a bit tight but there is street parking and a parking lot across the street but you do have to pay for that which seems ridiculous. We've been loyal customers since this location first opened. This past week, they premiered QR menus and ordering on one's phone. We HATED it. It's distracting, takes forever, eliminates the personal touch of having a human take one's order, and seems antithetical to a theater that is all about putting your phones away and enjoying a movie. Plus it is combined with a recent increase in both food and ticket prices. The message couldn't be clearer: the bean-counters in corporate don't care about the customers and will happily compromise our experience to the point of misery if it means they can make an extra nickel. They've moved their food ordering to a shitty mobile app you're supposed to get to by trying to scan a QR code in the dark with your cell phone, relegated their waitstaff to delivery service, and increased their prices. $80 for two tickets, a wrap, popcorn, and one drink on a Sunday night. WTF. Also missed the first five minutes of the film inputting my credit card information in the stupid app despite having a card on file for ordering tickets through OTHER mobile app their app. Sloppy, unfriendly, corporate bullshit. And their staff have been left eating shit from unhappy customers for a week, and I am certain the waitstaff are losing income. This is a great venue to watch a movie! They not only have a bar/restaurant attached it's also in a little strip mall that has several other options like Japanese sushi/ramen, Starbucks, and more. Parking can be found in the small lot (very limited), the nearby streets, or in a bigger lot across the street. Tuesdays!!! Movies are $7, about half price. I always forget about Tuesdays at chain theaters being lower priced and just happened to come on a Tuesday to see Women Talking to be reminded of this. What's excellent is that the servers come to you while inside the theater. While servers coming to me while inside the show isn't a new concept, I've experienced this back home in Milwaukee (for some reason this is rare in Denver...) the difference here is that there's a button and a light! Bingo! It's kind of a pain to try and shout-whisper to servers during a movie so the button and discreet light is a no-brainer. What's not excellent is that the chairs don't recline. We as consumers have come to expect this! And also, the prices running so high for drinks, booooo. Isn't there a way to make money and not charge a ton discouraging purchases due to price? Favorite movie chain ever!!! Did me a bit wrong last night. I was in a movie, seeing The Monkey Monday February 10th at 7 PM. The movie was starting and I had to go validate my parking - unfortunately I am in a borrowed car and didn't know the license plate so I had to run to the garage to do so. I took my ticket so I could get back in Once it started, the guy at the front desk said he could offer me a refund. I had communicated that I just needed to run out real quick and validate my parking and the other front desk worker confirmed I had shown up with a group... this man was also at the register when I came. He got frazzled and called a Manager instead of just letting me back in and the Manager was extremely abrasive, accusing me of being late and had a rude tone with me and several others... I wasn't late, I told them over and over that I had already sat down and even ordered several items. I love this theater so much and it's unfortunate to have been treated this way. read more

It seems every time we visit this location we regret it. The only reason we booked at this location is that the movie we wanted to see wasn't showing at our primary location. We intentionally arrive half an hour before the show time so that we can put in a food and drink order in hopes it will arrive before the movie starts. Tonight we had to remind two different people that our pepperoni pizza hadn't arrived about 15 minutes into the movie. They promptly brought us an entirely different pizza. Service is always great! They did change their menu recently and it feels like quite a bit changed? The portions got smaller and a lot of the favorites are gone. I have a dairy allergy so always ordered the vegan burger or their Vegan Supreme pizza - both YUM! They replaced both with sub-par options. The last few times we went the food was just ok and much smaller portions. Yesterday, my fiancee's loaded fries were coooold and tiny and my vegan burger was very different than the menu. It was supposed to have kale and carrot slaw, pickles, BBQ sauce. What I got was: a piece of lettuce, BBQ sauce and some kind of white sauce? I realized they added a sauce later (dark theaters y'know) and luckily didn't get sick! I think it was their lemon-garlic aioli which is not typically vegan so beware and check your food. My fiance and I also noticed the fries smelled a lot like chocolate chip cookies which is very strange. I'd give them 3 stars if the servers weren't so nice. But we prob won't order food here anymore. If I have to turn on a cell phone light to check that my order is correct so I don't get sick - it's not for me. I'm sure most of us have been to an Alamo Drafthouse at some point. As someone who didn't have one nearby until I moved to Denver, it's great to have one within walking distance. Alamo has refined the movie going experience for cinephiles. Though it's become a successful chain of theaters around the U.S., it still embraces the attention to detail of a local cinema. Their programming is consistently great, with one offs and special showings in the rotation. Alamo is known for being able to order food and drink from your seat. For a movie theatre, prices aren't the worst and the selection is surprisingly good. Don't expect to be flung from your chair in terms of food gastronomy, but it more than suffices. There are rooms for improvement in terms of logistics. I don't think I've gotten a beer within 15 minutes of ordering it. However, for the most part, orders are usually correct and the employees are nice and respectful of your movie watching experience. This specific location has a full bar, aptly named Barfly. It's nice if you happen to get there a wee bit early and want to grab a drink before the show. The last two movies we saw were Everything Everywhere All At Once and X. Both were fun movies to see in theaters, especially Alamo. For big blockbuster, I definitely suggest going to Westminster for the "big show," which apparently is the largest theatre in the Alamo franchise. Keep seeing movies in theaters, people! read more

The ultimate old school movie experience! I wish it wasn't so far from my house because they offer a great movie pass. For $20, you can see one regularly priced movie every day for one month. Wow! Parking was easy to find, but the lot is small and shared with a few other places. By the time we left the matinee around 6 the whole lot was full. I bought my tickets online along with some food to bypass having to order and pay at the theater. What a great option. When I bought the tickets online, I was sent a confirmation email with all my information and surprisingly it said that I could walk right into the theater without showing anyone at the front desk. I thought that was a little weird because how does anyone know if I actually bought tickets or not? I guess they rely on the honor system.. I loved the small theater vibe. There were only about five rows and I don't think there was a bad seat in the house. I also bought tickets to the sensory friendly show, which has quieter sound and is less dark. I'm a big fan as movies can be way too loud, but the sound was perfect and not overbearing on my ears.
