This little theater is very intimate. There are 260 seats and they are pretty close together. The ends of the rows angle toward the stage while the seats next to them face forward. That creates a very small space for the people next to each other to put their legs. I was in seat C13, hubby was in C12 and the 6ft. tall lady in C11 had to vie for leg room. I believe the seats are original to the theater. My seat was lumpy and not at all comfortable. It was directly behind the seat in front of me so I had to lean to the side to see the stage. That said, the building has a very interesting history. It was originally built in the 1920's as the Town Hall for Littleton. A fire truck was kept in what's now the lobby and there was a jail in the basement. The whole building has a historical feel. The staff was friendly and welcoming and their production of Avenue Q was excellent. Parking is along Main Street which could be a challenge so I recommend arriving early. read more

This is a really cute theater! Last night was our first visit to the Littleton Town Hall Center for "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change," which is my favorite play of all time!! I bought the tickets and knew that there wouldn't be a bad seat in the place, but with it being my favorite play, I chose the front row. It did not disappoint as we were a little raised from the stage so you're not looking up straining your neck the entire time. The refreshments sold are of a wonderful variety and the canned bloody mary was delicious! I do wish they had cup holders simply because I'm accient prone. I would love to see another play here soon! read more

Town Hall Arts Center is a beautiful historic building with low concession prices. We saw the play RED starring Andrew Uhlenhopp and Josue Miranda. It was easy to book tickets online, and present them to the box office straight through the entrance. The ushers were very helpful at the entrance as well as for seating. We bought two canned drinks and one bottle of water with Swedish fish and it came to nine dollars. Pretty reasonable these days! The concession space also has a presentation of local artist again to a gallery. The theater itself is up some stairs narrowly and into a small theater. The seating was comfortable and the play was phenomenal. Set design was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the play and the building. read more

This local theater does an amazing job providing the community with great performances. As an LPS educator I appreciate all that it has to offer to provide kids and teachers with opportunities to attend such experiential performances. I recently saw Disney's Newsies and was amazed by the detail, songs and musical talent, as well as the dance numbers and just flow of production. Bravo to all involved in Newsies. We saw Avenue Q play a wonderful show, with lots of positive attributes for a good day. When my friend booked the tickets, I was afraid we weren't going to see the show alright, but the favorite thing to me from the whole night was the size of the venue. It was small and very comfortable because you can purchase a seat anywhere and still be able to enjoy the show. We had a 15 intervention but I wanted the lights to flash so we can keep going. The speakers and sound system of the room's technology was impressive, I could hear everything and the performers actually reach out to their audience which is fine. I love, love, loved it!! I love this cute little place. I grew up going to the occasional show here, but have not been in a long time. That was until we got tickets to see their December show "Christmas Story - The Musical." The performance was fantastic from actors both young and old. Even non-musical lovers like my mom enjoyed every minute. The seating can be a bit show but once the show starts you forget where you are. This is a great option for those who enjoy theater and can't always afford the latest at the Denver Performing Arts Center. Plus, it is located on Main St. in Downtown Littleton so you can make a date date shopping and eating at the local restaurants. read more

I recently saw a play at Town Hall Arts Center for the first time, and really enjoyed it. The theater is small but that actually made it more fun. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. The actors don't stay glued to the stage - sometimes the action moves out into the audience and the walkways. The acting was very good - much better than expected at a small theatre. The lobby is nice though a bit cramped when everyone is rushing to their seats. There is an additional lobby in the back with rotating art exhibits and some refreshments. We sat in the 'cheap seats' which costs in the low $20 range. The actors aren't always facing to the side seats, but we were plenty satisfied. Center seats are $30-$40 (pricing varies depending on the day and the performance). Staff was very helpful in sorting out some seating issues early on. read more

I visited the Town Hall Arts Center for the first time this past weekend to see their production of The Who's Tommy. Based on that experience, I'm very impressed with the place. First, the operation downstairs seemed to run smoothly - my ticket was ready and waiting at their will call box, and refreshments were offered in the lobby. They also seem to allow outside beverages, as my friend asked - and was allowed - to go purchase an iced coffee and bring it in to the theater. The actual space is pretty darn good! I'd recommend buying one of the center seats, as for this particular show there would definitely have been view obstruction at times if you were seated on the sides. The actors use all the aisles, too, so make sure not to stretch out too much. :) Lighting and sound were great - and the performance, directed by Denver favorite Nick Sugar, was top notch. It's one of those times that you're just taken aback by how great local theater can be! read more

I hate to start with a low expectation, but community theater can be very hit or miss. AND BOY DID THEY GET A HIT! We were there to see Avenue Q a couple weeks ago and the production was small and intimate and really done very well. Ticket purchase can be done through their website and I appreciated that it was very clear that even though Avenue Q uses puppets, it was not a children's production. I don't know if the folks who brought two kids in the 11-12 year old range just ignored the site, but my wife and I were watching them watch the show, and it was rather interesting. Not that it is either here nor there, but it was entertaining. We will definitely be returning and can't wait to see what the future holds for the Town Hall Arts Center. read more

Ok. So all the artists were amazing, especially the lead. But what happened to "I Will Follow Him" ?? We brought young family and were so disappointed to not hear this highlight of the 1992 movie. We made a big night of this, you know: dinner and then the show. Big for us. But, imho, the best part of the movie was omitted. Why? It's like leaving Do-Re-Mi out of the Sound of Music. What a marvelous teeny venue to see great musical productions! Last night was my first time seeing a musical at the Town Hall Arts Center, and it was fantastic! We saw "Anything Goes", a Cole Porter masterpiece, and it was very well done! Really high-energy professional performance, set, dancers, singing, musicians- i feel like I have missed out on something for many years! A couple of drawbacks- there are only 6 rows- Our group was in Row E, and we could really only see neck up on the performers when they were in the stage center. Kinda crappy! Very tight seating, very funnel tight single exit- don't cry fire! Long wait to exit....and guess what- One 5 stall bathroom for the ladies. You know that's going to be a fun intermission, but chatting with people in line is always fun! Cory did a great job managing out tickets for a group event. Everyone got the group rate. I will certainly come back. Downtown Littleton is so charming, as is this venue. read more

If you're looking for a more intimate, less corporate, family-friendly community theater, this is the one. Seating is small-medium, about 150 capacity. I saw their production of Beauty and the Beast and was very entertained. Inconceivably, they managed to recreate most if not all of the settings -- the forest, village fair, castle, Belle's room, the library, the dining table, the dance hall, and the rose hall -- all on the same solitary stage, just by flipping backdrops and toggling stairs. Nice use of the intimate space. The building's facade is striking on that block, too. The downtown Littleton area ain't bad either. read more

This really is a terrific place to see a play. I've been to THAC a handful of times and have never yet been disappointed by the venue or the quality of the shows that they put on. It is a smaller theatre, but they manage to do an awful lot with their small spaces. The staff and volunteers have always been incredibly welcoming. The only complaint that I would offer is that they are beginning to price themselves out of the community theatre market. I understand well that you get what you pay for, but I'm also a believer that community theatre should be accessible to most families. N.B. Here's an interesting tidbit of information: The actual theatre used to be the town jail. If you look to the back wall you can still see exactly where the cells used to be. read more

Beautiful location to see a musical! I saw Young Frankenstein (a Mel Brooks production) and was blown away! The acting, choreography, music, lighting, blocking, sound, scene changes, and actor commitment to character were all incredible!! The theatre is set up in a cool 3/4 of a circle kinda deal, with the stage making up the last quarter, so there's really no bad seat, and the acoustics are excellent. I want to go here all the time! Plus, it looked like season tickets (6 shows) are very reasonably priced! Way to go LTH!! read more

The live band was as talented at the 5 singers making the show both delightful and engaging the entire night. Seating is intimate with the action in the stage but comfortable. I just saw Bonnie and Clyde, a musical about....Bonnie and Clyde! The music was terrific and the two leads, Ellen Kaye and Tim Howard, along with the rest of the cast was wonderful. The show was unknown to me, but I was pleasantly surprised by it, particularly the music which is fantastic. The production was remarkable. It is a small intimate space, but the sets and creative lighting made it feel like a high end production. Kudos to all. read more

Tonight we saw the musical play Guys on Ice. It was fantastic. The players were convincing and their timing was spot on. The songs were well done. It is a very funny play that we would recommend. I attended the Arts Center for the first time last night, and came away, impressed. The production of "Hair" was fantastic! The cast and music is superb, and I really enjoyed the intimate setting. it is amazing how those kids navigate the whole theater while performing. Do yourself a favor and experience this entertainment nugget in our own metro area. I saw "Anything Goes" at the Littleton Town Hall Arts Center. It was an impressive production and I recommend shows at the Littleton Town Hall Arts Center for several reasons. First, the production of Anything Goes that I saw was put on as a fundraiser for a local nonprofit organization. I'm not sure of the arrangement between the Littleton Town Hall Arts Center and the non-profit, but I believe that the time, space and talents of the actors were donated. I appreciate that the Littleton Town Hall Arts Center is willing to do things like that for worthy nonprofits in the community! Second, the talent was really top notch. The acting was excellent, the singing was excellent and the dancing was excellent. The actors were far better than I expected for a small theater. Third, the theater is small and intimate. There is no bad seat in the theater. Fourth, the sound, lighting and set were fantastic. I was impressed that the actors were mic'd and that there was such a high quality sound system in such a small theater. I highly recommend seeing a show at the Littleton Town Hall Arts Center. My wife and I went to see the production of "Hair" on 6/15/13 and it was fabulous. I saw the original production in NYC in 1970 and I think I enjoyed this one even more. The cast was great and the venue was a welcome surprise. Only 9 rows in a 180 degree setting kept you right on top of everything going on. Not to mention the cast coming out of every crack and crevice of the theater making entrances and exits. We definitely plan on attending more shows at this venue. read more
