My first visit felt like a blessing but my second was with a different person Betty Davis . She ignored her colleagues diagnosis told me I just had a scratch and said if I didn't like it I could leave . So I did . Before I could call and request my medical records Davis had fired me as a patient but the office staff told me I would get my records within two weeks . 6 months later I got them and Davis had falsefied my records saying she tried treating me for the skin disorder her colleague had diagnosed me with the same one she called a scratch . Not only is she a terrible doctor she will without skipping a beat lie to cover her ass even if it hurts you . I wouldn't allow her to pop a pimple on my backside much less trust her with anything I thought to be serious. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Davis for 5 + years and was very happy with my treatment. She appears to be a very caring Doc. In the last 6 - 9 months I have seen what appear to be ongoing problems in their offices. Getting someone to answer the phone other than the answering service is sometimes a problem. This is during their normal business hours. There seems to be training going on constantly and change of personnel. Getting a refund of an overcharge on my credit card took a number of calls to get handled. Am currently struggling to get records sent to another cancer facility from a biopsy. I don't know if they have grown faster than they can handle appropriately but the overall service and feel in the office have gone downhill. read more

Four members of my family have been going to Regency for at least 5 years now. One family member seen in the last 4 months needed a prescription re-filled but was told that since the PA that filled it is no longer there, they have to be seen again by another physicians assistant. That's not happening. We as a family will move on to another practice that is focused on the patient, their time and satisfaction, not the all mighty dollar. read more

Made an appointment on Zocdoc I was called the day before the appointment to let me know that the doctor was not taking new patients, but I can see the PA. I had an appointment for 215 in the afternoon. I arrived at 2 o'clock. It was only one person waiting when I arrived. Three more people arrived after me everyone was called in except me finally, I asked the receptionist to cancel my appointment and I left after 45 minutes of waiting not acceptable. I will never return to this office and I don't recommend it. read more

Unfortunately my husband and I learned the hard way on the racket they have going on at this place! It's honestly insane what we got billed for for basic removal of basil cell spots one on each of us. Close to 7000.00 each, we have to pay over 3000 dollars out of pocket because of how much they charged for everything to our insurance!!!! I am disgusted that they find this a good medical practice for patients! So many employees standing around, so much unnecessary drama to remove what should have been simple!!!! I keep getting skin cancer. Different places, and each time a year or more from one to the next. My fault for failing to use sunscreen during years of fishing on the great lakes. Anyway, I have been a patient of Dr. Davis since she first set up Practice about six years ago. She has been very thorough in making sure they find my problems. Now she has a staff doing the exams and she does the surgery when necessary. My care has been excellent. Since starting with her, I have moved to North Scottsdale, but I still make the drive to their offices, because the care I have received has been worth it. I've never had any problems with the receptionists,, but they are just young girls, and I suspect for some people that's the way they act. read more

Absolutely the most unprofessional office i have ever dealt with. I have to call 5 times to just get a prescription refill for a topical which should be on automatic refill. The pharmacy calls to refill it and they don't answer those calls. I have to call multiple times because they will not answer the phone or put me on hold for an hour and half (yes this has happened) Then i tried calling back and they just don't answer my call. The doctors at this clinic may be very good, I don't know. The staff in their front office seems nice and professional. The big problem I have is with their incompetent, clueless and rude billing department. Six months after seeing a doctor at Regency I am still getting bills. I have made numerous calls to their billing department who cannot give me detailed answers as to what I have been charged for and cannot even tell me if this is the final bill or if there are more to come. Then when I question their integrity or knowledge they try to blame the insurance company. Then today her latest excuse is that it all depends on where you fit in our billing cycle. Six months? Karla Munoz PA-C is my provider at Regency Dermatology. She is both professional and pleasant. Those are great attributes for a provider. She is thorough when performing my annual skin check. I was very impressed with the phone representative, the front desk receptionist, and the MAs in the back office. This is such a refreshing experience. Sadly, this place has zero etiquette. Look no further than the assistant manager (Malisse?) who had me removed from the facility in Surprise earlier this morning and threatened to have me discharged as Dr. Spencer's patient whom I've yet to see because the person who set up the appointment more than one month ago and confirmed the appointment three times up until yesterday failed to look at the doctor's schedule after insisting that he only sees "lymphadema" patients at the Surprise facility when all along he's in the Phoenix facility on Thursdays. Needless to say, loss of time and wages on my part after a futile one hour's drive that resulted in humiliation. Incompatible is an understatement when it comes to describing patient care at Regency Dermatology. read more

I saw Karla Munoz PA-C at Regency Dermatology for my annual skin exam. She located two suspicious lesions on my nose. Both were sent for pathology and one came back as a cancerous lesion. We were referred to Regency by a local hospital due to an accident that damaged my mother's nose. We had to wait for 30 minutes past our appointment time to see the surgeon. When we finally saw him, he spent less than one minute with us and didn't even introduce himself. He barely looked at my mother's nose, instead relying on photos by his assistant. He indicated that some repair would be required and they would call us to set up some time for the surgery later the same week. We never received any call back from them. I understand that insurance cases pay less than cosmetic services, but if they don't care, then don't offer it. I will be calling the hospital for another recommendation as the cavalier and uncaring attitude is not what I would want when it comes to fixing something as visible as a nose. read more

VERY disappointed with Dr. Jones. I went to my first appointment because I had skin issues with my toes and feet, which were unsightly and causing me pain. The assistant took a couple of pictures and then the doctor came in. He just walked around my feet (no touching), said he had no idea but gave me a prescription to try to clear it up and then asked me to come back in a month. A month later I went back and showed him the issue wasn't resolved (again just walked around my feet. No touching). Dr Jones said he would talk to another doctor in his practice and get back to me within a couple of days. He NEVER DID, even though I called 3-4 times trying to get an answer or call back. I made an appointment with another dermatologist. The second dermatologist knew exactly what was wrong, told me what to do and I began seeing progress immediately! Its been about TWO MONTHS!!! since seeing Dr. Jones and still haven't heard back. I would NEVER go back to this office. I now understand why they are looking for new patients. read more

I called and scheduled an appointment and got him in the next day! The office was beautiful and our experience with the staff and Dr. Davis was phenomenal! I have been a patient of 5 dermatologists in my lifetime. Dr Davis is one of the very best I have encountered. I sold medical equipment and supplies for 30+years and also was a Medic in the service. She is one of the best that I have encountered. She is compassionate and allows you all the time you need to ask questions and she does an excellent job of explaining what she is doing and what to expect. I have had four Mohs procedures in 8 months and each time she had the "in office plastic surgeon" close for her. This is something of an added convenience for me and reassuring to me that there will be minimal scaring on my face. I have had several basil cell carcinomas and a a squamous cell carcinoma some of which popped up quite quickly. She has been able to get me an appointment in a timely manner to see her or her PA without a lengthy wait.
