Saw Dr Kennedy for years. He was efficient and thorough, always had time for questions. When he moved out of the area I was assigned to Dr Reese. I've seen him 2 times... the last was not a good experience. I came for my yearly exam which is suppose to be a full body check. I was seated on the exam table where he examined everything but the back of my legs and scalp. Never asked me to stand so he could see the back of my legs. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The prior Dr had zapped a small red mark on my check a few years ago, but it came back. While he was looking at it I asked " why would it come back"? He answered rather sarcastically "you're asking me?" I responded with "well you are the doctor". At that time he explained to me several different reasons[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. This office is now U.S. Dermatology Partners Sun City West. I had an appointment with Dr. Reese and his medical assistant Sylvia. Both of them were 5+ stars. Amazing, thorough, knowledgeable, kind, professional and efficient. trying to secure an appointment was pretty hard when they're almost months booked out but i got lucky to book one with Dr. Tan! customer service was great and i was almost immediately taken in, luis (his assistant) was kind and helped me when i had questions. the time with Dr. tan was quick and efficient from what i felt and was given an ointment to use. i'm very satisfied with my visit, the only thing i would suggest is the doctor and assistant being on the same page, i asked about my diagnosis so i can research about it and the assistant told me the wrong one so i called again and he told me the correct one! read more

(Since they like to delete their Google reviews) I am not happy about my visit at all. I originally saw Dr. Ellis in Peoria regarding my issue. He did a biopsy and said I just had a benign problem. However if it persisted, he would recommend me to see Dr. Tan, to possibly get a steroid injection (verbatim). I saw Dr. Tan, and he asked my what my problem was, I pulled out my phone because I had the diagnosis in my pictures, because I didn't remember the diagnosis, and he goes "I already have it" rudely. Clearly he knew why I was there, so why ask me? He kept making me feel as though I was in there for a cosmetic problem, and that he isn't a plastic surgeon. He said they didn't go deep enough to tell if it's a type of tumor or what and that my only problem is swelling. THE WHOLE POINT ON GOING TO A DERMITOLOGIST WAS TO SEE WHAT THE HELL WAS IN MY LIP. If it's a tumor that is causing the swelling, than I'd like to know that. It swells up and throbs, that isn't my normal anatomy. He said there is nothing I can do for you, and I was like okay this was a complete waste of time. Not only did I drive 45 minutes to see this guy, but I was in and out within 5 minutes. His demeanor was uncalled for and he clearly knew what was wrong before I even came in, so why not have a staff member call me to tell me that there was nothing he can do. Now I have to pay for a visit that was pointless. The fact he made me cry after, because I do not appreciate rude people, just shows that he is not made for patient care. I work with dr's everyday and I know how they can be, but there's no reason for behavior as such. Thanks for wasting my time, and make sure to put me on the Do not see patient list. :) read more

Warning! If you are a person of color avoid going to this clinic! They discriminate! I had a new patient appointment today and waited over 2 hours to see a Dr. Whitmore only not to be seen. I arrived and checked in 20 minutes early for my appointment. Their patient waiting area filled up twice with all patients being seen and treated with the exception of the only person of color not being seen which happened to be me. When I asked the young lady at the check in desk did she know when I would be called next, her response was " yeah, you have been waiting and next for a long time, let me go see". Needless to say she when back to check, came back to the front desk, sat down and totally ignored me standing there only to start helping other patients. I was in total shock! I asked her did she find out anything and her response was "No with a smirk". Having never been to this office before, I would have never treated a patient like this. Never would I visit this clinic again or recommend it to anyone! If I could give it zero stars, I would! read more

This dermatology office is one of the most efficient, clean and high-quality, caring doctor offices I've ever visited and I was quickly more than happy to remain a patient. I've seen Dr. Kennedy just over a handful of times and I don't think I've ever had to wait to be pulled from the lobby longer than 3-5 minutes, once in a room, again didn't wait much more than 5 minutes before the doctor came in to see me. Dr. Kennedy is knowledgable and efficient, but also ensures a great rapport with his patient, and takes the time to answer any questions or concerns before ending the appointment. I can't say enough good things about this clinic. They're definitely worthwhile, but be aware, they do remain fairly booked, which again, I think speaks volumes to their quality of care. read more

Trying to secure an appointment is very difficult. I called and the soonest they could get me in was one month out! I got to my appointment 10 min early and ended up waiting 35 minutes past my appointment time. When the Dr came to see me the exam was 5 minutes long and I was out the door and on my way. After a month of pain, long wait time, and 5 minutes my problem was finally cured. The Dr. knew exactly what I needed and treated me for additional issues as well. I went here because my insurance covered it. If I had my own options, I probably would have went somewhere else. read more

As a former client, dropped this group because every call to schedule required long, long hold times ( three times they dropped my call) and long wait times to get appointments. Someone at the top might be a good doc, but is stupid when it comes to running a business. read more

Others are correct about the difficulty in having your call answered and in making an appointment. After a long wait on hold, I finally reached someone who would not book an appointment for me until I gave my insurance information--both Medicare and supplemental. After verifying my coverage, she told me that the first available appointment at the nearby office was more than a month out. I called a couple of other practices that had positive reviews and was scheduled much more quickly. read more

I called to make an appointment, after a long wait telling me my call was very important I finally got to a point where I was asked to leave my contact information and I would be called back. That was 10 am on a Tuesday. By 2 pm on the following Thursday I had not heard from them. An hour later I had an appointment with another dermatologist. Very poor first impression. read more

I called to see if they would refill an out of date prescription for my wife who is 75 years and has advanced Alzheimer's disease. The prescription is for an ointment used on the lips for what looks like very chapped lips. The prescribing doctor was Dr. Efron. I was never able to speak with Dr. Efron but talked to two of, I guess, her assistants . I explained to them about my wife's condition and what a burden to her it would be to have to come in for an appointment. We would just like to get refill of the previous prescription. I was told that would never happen as their practice is that you have to come in for an appointment before they could do the refill since it had been two years since they had seen her. They were not at all concerned of her condition and what a burden it would be for her to make an appointment and go to the appointment. All they were interested in was getting a new appointment, charge a couple hundred dollars and to tell her she has the same problem as she had before. Obviously they are interested in the money and not the patient. The medication is not a controlled narcotic or anything like that. I was appalled at the attitude of Dr Efron and her lack of compassion for someone with my wife's condition. I can never recommend a company to anyone whose attitude is totally financial and shows no compassion for someone with fatal condition. read more

Had the same experience as Debbie...Called the Sun City location for an injection (2 minute max appointment) and they can't get me in for a month. Called another location, and they can't get me in until April 2016 and I called Nov 2015. They said I had to see a doctor-not a nurse or assistant, but this is something a nurse could do. read more

I had a squamous cell cancer removed from my ankle last Friday, I was totally impressed with the professionalism of this place. Dr Cordova did the procedures and everything was as smooth as could be. Aleyandro, her assistant was super, it made me feel comfortable from the first moment I walked in, he kept the conversation going to make me feel relax, and my mind away from what was going on.
