Once we got in the room, he started on the most unprofessional Pro-Trump rant I have ever had to endure. The Dr wasn't much better. Told me I should have gone to the ER, took my BP a second time because it was elevated, told me to go home and sleep it off and I was on my way. This used to be my go-to for after hours care but not anymore.

It was night time, about an hour before their closing. Which soon became apparent. They rushed me into the room so the nurse could take my blood pressure and all that jazz. The nurse was very nice, but that's all I can say that went right. When the doctor finally came in, she was in a bad mood and wasn't really listening to what I was telling her. When she asked me about a symptom I would give her an answer, but before I was finished, she would ask a question as if my medical emergency was a speed round on a game show. She finally concluded that she could not help me because there aren't any X-rays at Alexian Brothers. She then looked up what my condition could potentially be on the internet. She had a couple guesses and then said "See a podiatrist." But the most jaw-dropping thing I've ever heard from a professional of any sort was, "Now that I told you what you needed to hear, can I go now?" I had the feeling of somebody that was rushed through a one-night stand. I now have an outrageous charge that Blue Cross and myself have to fight. They did nothing but insult me and now I have a crazy bill. As other medical professional friends have said, "Welcome to healthcare." I probably would have received better medical treatment at the Italian place next door.

I went for the…read morefirst time last year (every woman should have a baseline mammogram at age 35, and then yearly starting at 40). Pretty terrified, actually. I've heard that mammograms are excruciatingly painful. And, sitting around in that stupid hospital-issue gown (with black socks!) doesn't do much for your dignity. But let me tell you -- the technicians put me at ease right away. Very friendly and explained the procedure step-by-step. The breast compression, while not comfortable, proved not to be the torture I'd imagined. The tech went slowly, and said she'd stop if it got too painful for me. (Staffers even entertained my infant outside, since she wasn't allowed in the room) When the x-rays came back inconclusive, they called right away and asked me to come back ASAP. I started to freak out, but the woman explained that a lot of women have dense tissue that requires a closer look for the first mammogram. Thankfully, I got a clean bill of health. My next appt. is in a couple of weeks. Now for the public service announcement: ladies, go get yourself checked out. You don't have to come here, just go. It's not something to dread. The discomfort is momentary and in the big picture, this could well save your life.

I wanted to write a review a while ago but it's not easy talking about your issues openly with…read morestrangers. This treatment was the only thing that has ever helped me. Years passed I tried all sorts of anti-depressants, some helped a bit for a short period, some made it worse. I grew up in violence, drugs and verbal abuse, this led to PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. The treatment worked, yes it cost more but the results are worth it. I did use my credit card and wish the insurance would see this as a treatment just as much as the anti-depressants they easily cover. I can't speak for some as I seen Anna had a loved one who relapsed or didn't take the treatments seriously. As for me this treatment stopped me from drinking, self medicating and fixed the problem in which was causing me to binge or run from my problems in the first place. The experience for me was about learning, growing and turning a new leaf. If you're going here not to change or not look for solutions, I find that it will be hard for anything to truly help you. You must work on yourself as well as use Medical treatment if you feel you need extra help. This doesn't mean refuse Counseling, outreach programs or whatever may help you with your recovery, whatever that maybe. As for the staff, they are wonderful and make you feel comfortable every step of the way. The whole place gives you the feeling that they are there to help you, offered Counselors if needed and Dr Patel is very thorough with his patients, talks you through the whole process and what to expect etc. Being honest is key to the success of this treatment and I can find no better place to go to than Midwest Ketamine Center. We are planning on moving out of state and I don't think I will be able to change clinics because of trust, I most likely will fly in for my 3-4 month Boosters I hope this review helped. Ketamine has had a dramatic impact on my life and the early results show it's much more successful than anti-depressants being used. Whatever helps you on your path to self healing is a positive. Just remember that this is not for everyone and the success rate is very high, 50% - 70% is nothing scuff at. I suggest that you always do your research before you choose any treatment. I didn't fully commit to this until almost a year of debating whether or not to do so. However in my case I wish I would have done it sooner but the truth is, not everyone is me. You have to choose your path, I have chosen mine and I feel it was the right one. My father, a 78-year-old patient, was brought to this ER following a fall at his rehab facility…read more His medical record clearly documented a tape allergy with a specific notation that tape causes skin tears. Despite this being visible in his chart, staff applied standard adhesive tape to his arm. When the bandage was later removed, it tore his skin open, leaving a wound that was still unhealed ten days later and caused him significant pain for several weeks. This was not an emergency situation. He was there for a head CT and was stable. There was no reason his allergy could not have been checked before tape was applied to his fragile, Prednisone-thinned skin. I filed a formal complaint and received a response acknowledging the issue and stating that staff had been educated on allergy documentation. An apology and a staff training do not undo the unnecessary pain this caused my father. Documented allergies exist for a reason. Patients and families should not have to fight to have them respected.

Only downside for me is the cost of care for tests, or things not covered by insurance. (Check out alternative places, like Bright Light Imaging for CT Scans or imaging). The halls and main spaces are kept clean and in order. I especially appreciate the staff in the Breast Care Center. They are very caring individuals. I also find it is a perk to have a nice Starbuck's in the lobby here too, so you can treat yourself to a hot or iced beverage after an appointment. And, this is your reminder ladies (and men) to practice self care and get checked regularly each year. You matter! And this is a nice place to go when care is needed.

Have had other offices ask me my name ask me everything as if they never saw me before. Tired of being treated like a random number. This office has the feel of a small family run business but the versatility of having a large corporate backing to get top notch equipment in the office. Today needed blood & papers for an upcoming procedure. They said they didn't have the papers, my other doctors office gave them faulty info, we left. I called the other office in the car en route another stop, managed to sort them out and have it faxed over to the clinic. Stopped at the clinic on the way home and they managed to squeeze in a few minutes with a nurse to grab the blood and a flash with the doctor to do the paperwork even though I was well past my appointment time today because the other office didn't send the papers to the right office. They'll go above and beyond to get things done if they can logistically handle it. Blood collection was easy and the nurse had my preferred type and gauge of needle, I know what needle my veins are good with because of how many blood drawings and procedural IV lines I have in a year. The overall clinic is a 5/5 except for when you have to do after hours answering service call ins. They tend to be a bit unreliable at getting the physician to phone back but they do eventually work after some prodding. Maybe the company will switch answering service vendors if they see more complaints about answering service problems.
