By far my favorite movie theater! It's a little bit on the older side but that's what I love about it. Idk why but I always find the newer theatre's to be uncomfortable the seats are always hard and stiff I can never seem to myself comfortable. They also have great prices from the $7 matinee to the $1 hotdogs. I was just there recently with my kids, we watched the new SpongeBob movie and only paid $39 for two adults and 3 kids (3 and under get in free) and it was after the matinee times. This is the worst place to go to see a movie. They are always under staffed, from the ticket line to concessions counter. The wait for snacks is incredibly long and not worth the wait, you will miss the fist part of your movie. I grew up with this theatre and it just gets worse year by year. Parking is easy only if you park in the back, but it is very dark at night. This is a very outdated theatre (almost 20 years old) it really needs a makeover. read more

This theater is just horrible. The staff consists of young kids who just do not care. The theaters themselves are extremely hot. Have you ever sweat inside a movie theater? Neither have I until this evening. I spoke with the manager to simply log a complaint. That was a hassle. I had to speak to 3 different supervisors over the course of 20 minutes just to locate the manager. What is the managers response? Well if you would have told me earlier I could have given you free passes. I said WTH lady. I do not want free tickets! I simply want to log a complaint. She says sorry and just walks away. 4/17/16 is the last day I give this joke of a theater my business. Wow they are 1.50 less than AMC. Guess what at least you are in comfort watching a movie. The fact that this theater does not receive as many complaints is because its clientele rarely complain, because hey it's a cheap movie ticket. If saving $1 to $2 dollars means a lot to you? Then by all means go here. If not then RUN to the AMC!! read more

Love this theater. I mean, it may not be an amc or anything but it's still a jewel. The food is cheap, cute employees and good ticket prices as well. The bathrooms are upstairs only because this theater used to be a JC Penny! If you are a local who goes here often the stairs are only seen as some quick cardio during the super fast bathroom breaks that we all somehow manage to do during a movie. I absolutely love love this place because its cheap, it's not well know so theirs never too many people, and theirs a lot of parking. I love how theirs a fatburger and a Starbucks next to it and so many other options to go get something to munch on. The only down fall are the new seats their very very uncomfortable i feel like a hunchback sitting on them! They were better off leaving the old ones. Also theirs been way too many times where theirs people talking during the movie, and the staff dont seem to do anything about it or they just dont care. Love the seats they are well cushioned they have plenty of room. They recline with a push of a button. Just saw penguin movie and fell asleep in the chair. That tells you how comfortable the chair is. Matinee is $7.50. Lot cheaper then any other and the seats again are really comfortable read more

This is a perfect place for locals of Granada Hills (or adjacent areas) to catch a movie. It isn't the fanciest of all movie theaters, but it's pretty decent. And if you want to catch a movie last minute it's a great option (for locals). read more

This is the closest movie theaters I have. The parking lot is huge. The police station is just across the lot so it feels safe to come here, I personally would like for them to change the fabric of the seats, they feel dirty to me whenever I go. I am a local customer to this theater. I am there with my children at least twice a month. I forgot to scan my Regency card for points @ the time of purchasing my movie tickets. So, when I went to the concession stand to purchase the food I then scanned my Regency card and employee told me my card had a free ticket. My Movie was about to start so I thought I would go after the movie to get my credit for the ticket. Manager Miguel told me he wasn't able to assist me with the credit. Nor give me a voucher for another time. Since I didn't come for credit earlier. Not good customer service! More when I spend over 100 a month when I go with my children. read more

This is absolutely the worst theatre in the valley. Please stay clear of it. I grew up in the area so when this theatre was the "Mann" theatre it was a pretty decent theatre, everyone was friendly and theatre was kept up pretty well. That is not the case anymore. They seem uninterested in customer experience or service. So I buy my seats online and go to pick them up. I stopped at Starbucks to get a coffee and when I get to the theatre this guy is yelling at me that drinks will not be permitted. I mean literally right as I walk in the door. Now I don't mind that so much so as I approach the ticket guy before I could ask where I could finish up my drink and throw it out, HE starts to scold me about drinks in the theatre. I said I just want to know where I can stand to finish it and he tells me to move away from him. At this point I am smiling because I am in awe of the dysfunction and service levels. So I said forget it. It's just not worth the hassle. If I could make a suggestion to the owner... ease and convenience are what makes a business work. If you don't have that. You won't be around much longer. So I talk to the manager to get my refund and she could care less. Basically said that they are not the arclight theatre. Well that was the first thing I agreed with. Anyway, avoid at all costs. Horrible treatment. Btw, I wasn't the only person they were yelling at. They were screaming at other people as well. read more

The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of contacting yelp and asking for the 0 possibility is because A. I know it's family owned and B. The movie didn't stop in the middle. These people that work here are beyond the capability of being helped. I went with my girl to see the Walt Disney movie (recommend highly) and I couldn't find another better reviewed theater starting anywhere within the same time. The server at the counter was eyeing my girl while she's next to me which really got me going. What made it worse is when he called my girl honey. I went off on this fool until the supervisor came about 5 min later. I filled out a complaint (probably will never be read) and got free drinks which don't mean much. These people should be hiring people who are at least courteous. And this moron was definitely not that. Will definitely avoid this theater at all costs. read more
