At that time, however, they weren't allowed to cook their jerk meats outside on a drum, something they were known for. Thank goodness that has changed! On this visit, I got a very generous sampling of their Jerk Chicken, Jerk Pork, Curry Goat, and Oxtail, with rice and peas. It was all very good! The jerk meats, done in a drum over charcoal, had a nice smokey flavour. The curry goat and oxtail were also very flavourful. In addition to these traditional Jamaican dishes, they offer a full menu of popular Jamaican fare, with daily specials. They have a small dining room but current COVID restrictions didn't allow dining in. With their good food and service, this family run business could use your support. Give them a try!

However, there is counter seating for three people indoors. The customer space is large, so they could have put a few tables in there, but they probably didn't want to deal with wait staff and cleaning tables. They don't even have customer washrooms, which is more appropriate for a takeout-only restaurant. I was surprised by the wide variety of food they serve. They even had some dishes I had never heard of, like Pumpkin Rice and Callaloo, both of which are popular dishes. All their food are made fresh every day from scratch. The staff are very courteous and very willing to explain each dish and how/when they usually eat them in Jamaica. I wasn't prepared to eat a meal there because I had found them accidentally. They happened to run out of patties, so I ordered Fried Plantain (4 for $3.50) instead. The Plantain were delicious! There is free WiFi.
